Used The Outdoor Shop on two occassions so far this year (2015). Very competively priced even against the prices that I can get with membership discounts elsewhere. Customer service and delivery has been good. Deliveries are perhaps not the speediest, but then again I didn't pay any extra for a faster service.

Very happy with this down filled coat, snug, warm, long enough for me as I am tall. Zip easy, detachable fur trim good. Sizes small so order next size up, I'm a 14 to 16, so ordered XL and fits

Ordered a Marmot coat but when it arrived it was too big. Phoned the store and given excellent advice regarding returns; to hold on to the first order, wait and see if the second coat fitted and if not to return both items together to reduce postage costs. The postage is free sending out to customer but has to be paid for returns. Second coat arrived within two days, perfect fit, well packaged. I am still awaiting refund for the first item but have no doubt it will arrive. My only niggle would be the website which was slow and unpredictable. It would not let me update the number ordered - I ended up with two coats in the shopping basket after a lot of frustrating hang time waiting for the pages to load. I gave up trying to update, cancelled everything and started again. Ok, unless you are in a hurry! Even so, an excellent service and one to use.

I purchased a rucksack from The Outdoor Shop. It was the best price I could find (unless I fancied a 60-mile round trip!) and free delivery. Having opted for the free Royal Mail service, I was delighted to find the item was with me just two days after ordering.

Have been a customer of the Outdoor Shop for many years now - always impressed by the wide range of products on offer, and prompt attention to on-line orders. Really appreciate that minor issues (questions about colour, choices, etc.) are sorted out with a quick phone call, rather than protracted messaging. A nice personal touch, feels like you're standing in the shop.

The Item I ordered unfortunately didn`t fit my wife but there was no problem with the refund which was carried out very quickly with excellent communication. Would definately buy from again.
