Timelines unclear
Update: My first painting arrived - it was packed extremely well. The item arrived safely and undamaged. They did a really nice job on that. I wish the timelines had been better communicated to avoid the concern.

They picked up a piece of art I purchased at auction and it has been sitting in their warehouse for almost a month! Each time I ask what the status is - when the eta to ship is - I am told that the item will ship in a few days or that week. There is absolutely no reason a piece of art that is being shipped domestically should sit in their warehouse for almost a month.
Do not use them unless you’re okay being misled and waiting a long time to receive your item. If they do not take proper action quickly at this point, I will be reporting them to my bank, opening a chargeback, and will be passing my experience along to the auction houses too.
Unfortunately, I have one more item - a large antique Audubon print - I’m waiting for them to properly pickup, pack, and ship. I do not expect to wait another month for that item as well.

We visited the auction house on several occasions (five times in total) but they were unable to hand over your lot to us.
As stated in our terms and conditions of sale, we cannot refund you if the lot has been collected by another company, as we have incurred travel expenses to the auction house.

The package was excellent
The package was excellent. It really needs 3 boxes because the outermost cardboard box was broken from the shipment. But the inside boxes where intact. The only flaw is a few scuff marks on the shoulder area of the sculpture, perhaps due to handling.
Otherwise I am satisfied, thank you very much.
