Lied to and ghosted by customer service dept

Reached out to get an additional radiator mounting bracket for case so could run my duel radiators in back of case. Submitted RMA ticket on JUNE 2ND to get a replacement SET of brackets. The following week, June 8th, reached back out again via phone call and was told it would ship that week. Then nothing for the next 4 weeks. Its been 5 weeks total.

I called today, July 8th, to cancel the RMA ticket as I had to redo my build due to it taking over a month and still getting the replacement parts. They then tell me that my RMA ticket has been on hold since June 4th, over a month, because they were confused on which mounting bracket I wanted. I was then told that they tried to contact me, on june 3rd, and thats why my order couldn't get sent out, because it was my fault for not getting that phone call.

Even though every form of communication up to this point was i would be purchasing a set, both mounting brackets. The person outright lied on the phone call and stated that an email was sent out, and when I pointed I reached out via email on the 8th and 17th of June they then tried to change their story and said they called on the 3rd and left a voice-mail. Which my phone records show no phone call from them on that date.

And all of this doesn't excuse the fact that their RMA department outright ghosted multiple emails made on june 8th and 17th. And how their customer service department MADE NO MENTION OF HOW MY ORDER WAS BEING HELD WHEN I CALLED ON THE 8TH OF JUNE AND EVEN WENT ON TO TELL ME IT WOULD SHIP BY THE END OF THE WEEK.

These people are joke. They will ghost you. They will lie to you. AND THEY WILL BLAME YOU FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE

Had problems with a power supply…

Had problems with a power supply (Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 1200W 80+ Platinum) not working with any UPS I tried. Contacted customer service where they told me they know the problem and agreed to give me a replacement that will work. After 3 months a received a new power supply (which I paid $45 for the shipping) which turns out has the exact same power supply with the exact same problem. For the entire replacement process, it took more than 3months of waiting for new power supply, constant emailing, and calling. Very bad support and service from the company.

Thermaltae iTake software and RGB plus…

Thermaltae iTake software and RGB plus software are completely buggy and destroy the whole appeal and function of their products.

I recommend buying another brand as I have contacted them and they refuse to fix the issue even though the issue is so simple a person with the slightest programming knowledge can work out where the coding problem is within the program.

Do not buy Thermaltake products

I own an expensive top-of-the-line Thermaltake computer case. For the past week I have been trying to get Thermaltake to send me a couple of 2.5" SSD mounts for this case. They ignored my messages until I e-mailed their CEO, Kenny Lin. Then they replied in bad English asking me to send them a photograph of the mounts I needed. After I did so they again ignored my message. After another message to Mr. Lin they asked which country I was in, even though it is displayed prominently in the signatures of all my messages. When I answered them with a cc. to Mr. Lin, my message was returned as Spam. Then they wrote me “Due to Coivid-19, the courier and our warehouse will take some times [sic] to arrange the parts to send to you.” Next they wanted to know the e-mail address to which I had sent my messages. Then they sent me a picture of the mounts and wanted to know if this was the right part. Then they asked to see the invoice. They tried to wear me out with useless questions and requests over a whole week without sending me the mounts. In short, Thermaltake “service” is terrible to non-existent. Avoid Thermaltake products.

Same problem as most

Same problem as most, trying to get in touch with someone is near impossible. Have tried the contact methods listed on the website, as well as social media and still no reply nearing 2 weeks on. Very disappointing

Purchased Thermaltake IRGB 1250 watts…

Purchased Thermaltake IRGB 1250 watts power supply. After total of 2 HRS of use over 5 day period power supply dead. Placed order for warranty repair with advance repair. 2 weeks later can't get Thermaltake to ship out a unit to me. Called them twice 2 weeks later and cant get a response from them. Customer service and warranty repair is terrible. Your calls always go to voicemail and never get someone on the line when you call. Instead you get a voicemail to leave a MSG. My System is down heading for the 3rd week and can't get a warranty repair issue solved. They won't even let me ship the old one back to them until they offer to ship one out. This is not good. I was thinking of using them for my next build but if this is the customer service you get I think i will use another manufacturer from now on. Very difficult to get someone on the phone. Beware before you consider buying their product. I Will follow up with this email if I ever get this solved.

I had a case arrive with a broken panel…

I had a case arrive with a broken panel and damage to the box which I hadn't noticed at first. Thermal Take worked with the vendor to send out a replacement panel, saving me the hassle of pulling the whole computer apart. Very happy, good customer service.

Poor aftersales support

Bought a Level 20 MT in December. Built my system in January but had issues with noisy case fans. Emailed TT on January 29th and despite being ignored for weeks at a time, multiple emails and promises I still have had no help at all. Case quality appears good, sadly the customer service is not so good. Would buy another brand next time.

Superb after sales service!!!!!!

I must say I am very surprised to read the poor reviews on here, most of which seem to be during the past few months of the Covid crisis so that may explain it.

That has not been my experience, infact If I could leave higher than 5 stars I would.

First time I had an issue with my Thermaltake product their forum team gave me the best after sales customer support I have ever had from a company.

They really did bend over backwards to help me, and are a credit to the PC Industry during these very difficult times.

Give your forum team a huge pat on the back and a wage rise, they deserve it!!!

The design of my Core P5 TG Ti case is very clever indeed, every component placement and design feature has been carefully thought about, not an easy case to put together, but a very enjoyable build as you can put your own twist on it.

They are not a budget case, but you certainly get what you pay for. Worth every last penny!!

No regrets, and will certainly be using TT for many years to come.

I purchased the case in the UK, and as you will see from my last review on trustpilot the service was not very good from the company I purchased from. But I am smiling like the Joker on laughing gas after dealing directly with Thermaltake.

Thanks Guys, you have restored my faith in customer service 👍👍

I was buy thermaltake cabinate for my pc this year I was trust on thermaltake
Because I was got best review from other people's but my experience with thermaltake is very bad because my cabinate is not working properly since purchase. And when I tested it to thermaltake service center they says it is ok from every angle that's the reason I m not satisfied from thermaltake i was switched from cooler master to thermaltake but now I m realised cooler master better then thermaltake. Please do not purchase thermaltake

No support whatsoever

I bought their rather expensive Thermaltake Core V71 TG and the product was great initially, but eventually I broke the plastic tab that holds the glass panel in place.
What would have been an easy fix turned into a permanently broken case, because Thermaltake support is completely non-existent.
I tried using their online form, and later their email, no response after a month. From what I've read this is not an isolated case.

$300 power supply fried my other parts

bought a $300 platinum 80+ power supply off them and it came with a loud squealing noise whenever it turned on, recently caused my $1200 graphics card to start having coil whine and my mobo is also really damaged by the power supply. Basically I can hear the noise from a room away and its very high pitched. Whole $5000 PC has been affected by this terrible power supply and their support doesn't care. Don't buy off them

Can't seem to process an order.

I thought I was buying from a reputable company when I placed an order from them clearly that trust was misplaced. Attempted to call support just got sent to a voicemail. Spent nearly double the shipping on my item expecting it to arrive by a set day.

Three days later the package is still sitting in their warehouse because they cant seem to get it to ups. Why pay for 1 day shipping if they dont GIVE THE SHIPPING COMPANY THE BOX! Really if I would have known this before I ordered I wouldnt have paid so much more for shipping and would have gone ground clearly would have been the same speed.

Smart 700W power supply

Bought a power supply, not even 24 hours later it caught fire to my computer! Customer service wants you to climb Mount Everest just to compensate the damaged parts, NOT WORTH BUYING!! (Everything was hooked up correctly, the temperature was 29 degrees Celsius / 88 degrees F) Ran just fine for a few hours then caught fire. They should add a free fire extinguisher with the purchase of the power supply

After managing to damage a fan controller in my View 37 ARGB case via my own stupidity (trust me this isnt my first rodeo in PC builds) I sent Thermaltake an email and a few pics hoping they would help me at least source a part. Within 24hrs they had sent me verification pics and had already arranged a spare. Great Customer Service.

i bought the thermaltake core ring edition case, looks nice but like everyone is saying , the motherboard mount holes need work, were almost too close to board , asked about the mount point for the little buzzer , no response on several emails . They dont return emails at all
