Bought in 2024, this was wonderful when it worked, a pain in the ass when it jammed, I ended up shaking it, hoping to get coal out. I used the smallest size anthracite, but no matter what I used, it still periodically blocked. After about a year, it blocked solid, so for over a year now, I’ve had a rather useless garden ornament, and no way of accessing the coal, unless I tip it over.
Bought this a few years ago. For use with smokes ovoids. Nothing but grief. They jam in the hopper and on efforts to extract them the clip holding the release spring broke. Contacted the company and three years later no reply. Also once full the ovoids don't come out when hopper opens. So you have to take the out by hand then.. when it gets lower you have to rock the thing to get them to drop. Im sick of it now. I know it's award winning and for animal feed it may be. For coal ovoids.. forget it
