I love social cat and recommend it to any digital creator trying to secure collaborations. The app is straightforward and easy to use with a number of different brands to choose from !

I have been on the platforms for 3 months and I have worked with about 4 influencers. Only one influencer has delivered. Two became unresponsive after the package was delivered, one is still pending. I reported the issue to Social Cat and under their terms they are suppose to remove the influencer if they don't deliver according to the contract. However, when I reported the case, they responded saying I should move on and find a different person. The platform wouldn't even let me leave a review on my experience with the influencers. Another issue is, the platform isn't user friendly; how the platform works is you select a button at the top for each phase on the contract with the influencer, but the button is not accurate; after you send a contract, the button at the top says 'pending shipping', but the influencer hasn't agreed to the terms yet. Instead the button should be 'pending agreement'. After you send the package the button says 'content published' but if the influencer has not published the content there isn't any button to address it. You have to send an email to support and sometimes they take 3 days to respond. Back to the influencer that delivered on content, it was good content, but it didn't bring traffic or conversion. Mind you this influencer has thousands of followers, good reviews. All this to say, as a small business if you are looking to increase brand awareness or increasing sales, I don't think this is the best option for you, at least not through this platform. It would take giving away your product to at least 20 - 30 influencers to see some impact, because most of them may flake and it will cost you inventory. If you have a small inventory, you're best off doing ads.

Beware of this company!
They have a big budget for ads so you'll see them everywhere. There is likely 1 person max 2 in the team and they don't even review applications manually, it's all automated therefore inaccurate.

The service is sophomoric and seemingly unethical.

Based out of Romania, this tiny company has hit or miss customer service, where sometimes they don't answer you at all. Their interface is wonky, expect things like a convoluted API system to connect your social media profiles, and then template letters from staff how to fix, vs. addressing the specifics of your question.

The first ever brand deal they sent me was an illegitimate one, as it was a company asking for a paid Amazon review, which of course is strictly forbidden by Amazon. Social Cat didn't even acknowledge this and seemingly kept the brand deal up despite it being an FTC violation.

I also weirdly got invited to brand deals before actually being accepted into the service, is which is an odd way to do it, and jerk the influencer around.

Lastly, your account can meet all the criteria outlined to join them and be accepted, and they can and will email you back that you "didn't meet criteria" but you won't be told what that is. So in my case, I was actually told by customer service "Improve your account", but I wasn't actually told what that even meant or what had missed in the first place, given I already met their requirements listed on the site.

If I had to guess, I have a gut feeling that they will come back to respond to this review, claiming a falsehood of some sort. If that happens, I will show the emails that transpired.

I used this for several months for my business, the actual idea is great but unfortunately the
'influencers' were just keeping the products, and insulting me after i politely asked if they have any issues with content making after 4 months e all others took around 2 months to send me just a simple picture of them wearing my product - the app is very expensive too, around 40-50£
The content they provided was very very poor quality and i just had cancel this idea and produce my own picture... was very excited about this but didnt work out unfortunately

After months of not getting any offers I finally get one and then Socialcat rejects my account THE DAY I GET AN OFFER even though I already have had an account with them. Please avoid SocialCat and find a real agency that does this service.

i used Social Cat for my online business. The 2 influencers I used were responsive and did what I asked. The problem was however that they are too small, and their audiences are not engaged so i had no results from the posts at all. Also, I noticed about 90% of 'influencers' have likely got inflated follower numbers and use bots, so anything they post is useless. Social Cat don't vet the influencers so there are a lot of people on there who just want a freebie. Make sure you look at an influencers profile, and you'll start to notice most just post garbage and have fake followers.

I have really been enjoying my experience using Social Cat. I love how they recommend different brands to you by the preferences you set and it’s super easy to either decline the recommendation or accept it and reach out to the brand through them. I also love how brands can reach out to you as well. Also what’s great is everyone who’s worked with a brand can leave said brands reviews so it’s a nice way to decide if you do want to work with one or not. They also give you the social media platforms and websites for the brands right there. Takes the guess work out of everything and you feel safe communicating with brands through the platform. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with every brand I’ve worked with and I would definitely recommend social cat to any size influencer!
