I recently placed and received my first order with the tapas lunch company

I cannot praise highly enough the service received

the quality of produce, delivery of goods and service received was first class

there are other companies that could do with taking a leaf out of your book in relation to this

We were really pleased with the paella food we ordered for my husband's party. Everything was delivered the following day and was really excellent quality. The ham was absolutely delicious .

Fantastic service from the team at TLC and easy to use web site used for placing orders. The product was first class, fresh, authentic and perfectly presented. Great communication from their delivery team kept me right up to speed with not only date of delivery but even an narrow time slot. Will definatly use them again !!

ordered a variety of meats to slice at home. My god they were amazing. I recommend it to anyone. you can buy cheap meat slicers and makes it easier to get what you want when you want. The beef was to die for, not normally a huge fan especially when iberico ham is on the table but this was a huge hit. hmmmm what to order next!!!!!

Prices were really good, very similar to a supermarket when it comes to cupboard goods.
Everything went smooth and I kept receiving emails and sms to keep me updated. I was positively surprised by the texts about the delivery, giving me the option to postpone it or indicate a neighbour. Also, I was given a one hour slot for the delivery, which was very helpful.
The one problem, though, is half the items were wet. One of the ice packs was pierced and it had emptied. my churros mix box was wet, but the mix itself comes in a plastic bag so it wasn't really damaged.
I had it delivered at work, so the recepcionist signed for it. I wouldn't have signed for a wet box.
I rated the experience for a facebook group of catalan people abroad, so I have pictures of it all.

This company is superb from initial contact right to delivery. Very competitive prices and great variety would highly recommend using them!

Hugely impressed by the speed of dispatch, the efficient service, the two-day gap between dispatch and delivery (to rural France) as well as an unusually good tracking website for the courier. Up to now I have not tried all that much from the delivery, but so far so good and I am absolutely delighted to have found such a reliable online company. I just wish they could train up some of the others.

We have been ordering from the company for over a year now. We are 3 chefs who order from them. In the beginning we had no problems what so ever. The packing was done in more than one box with the heavier items separate. They now seem to pack everything in one box which has caused problems. Delivery abroad has been slow on a number of occasions due to them not printing the address properly on the label. Other countries will use different characters like é or ö but they seem not to check the labels to see if they are correct. Our main problems have been with leaking Products. We ordered banderillas in jars and these were not sealed properly. It seemed like they had filled them themselves and screwed on the lid with their bare hands. The jars were not vacuum sealed. Our other problems have been with 1kg Boquerones and 1kg Seafood Cocktail. Both arrived completely empty of their juice and customs had to repack everything into another box. All the other products were covered in stinking fish juices. We received a replacement for the first one and apoplogies. The second one after we had written a stern letter was also sent but not after we had been litteraly told off for complaining. If a Company can't take critisism then how will it learn? The Company producing these products told the Tapas Lunch Company that they were hermetically sealed. That is not true leak very badly. We have ordered 5 packets during the past year and 2 of them arrived empty and the other 3 had leaked. This would not happen if they were properly sealed.
We have decided not to order from them again as many produts have been quite tasteless or inferior quality to other companies. We are now in Contact with 2 companies in Spain and are far more professional with their packing and the products arrive faster and are of better quality.

Great selection of everyday Spanish products and quick delivery. The quality of the cold meats is not as good as Brindisa. Chorizos are a bit fatty and their best selling Serrano leg a bit dry, but better than English supermarket stuff and quite good value.
They should try to import products from other regions and not just Leon. Get stuff from Extremadura and Andalucia.

Well packaged, arrived quickly, lovely produce. Picked with accuracy

Very fast delivery, product arrived in good condition and was of superb quality, will definitely buy again.

The food was received very well packaged and as ordered. The only thing deterring me from ordering again which is very unfortunate is the use of DPD couriers which have 2 depots in London so if you are at work during the day when they attempt delivery like I do and live alone I had to do a 2 hour round trip to pick up my package. That won't be an issue of course for everyone but a detterant for me unfortunately. Use of the post office courier service would be more practical as they have many depots across the country and one in every borough in London if pick up is required. Just a suggestion. Otherwise the food is lovely and great value. Many thanks.

Products as ordered. Unfortunately the information about estimated delivery date was wrong.
Once delivery was arranged you are only given a date and not an estimated time (morning or afternoon) by the courier company and without parcel reference so unable to use their website. At 12 midday I finally got message that delivery will be betwee 15-16.00!!
Was forced to rearrange for a morning delivery another date (with extra charge of course!) and they delivered after 12 anyway!
The couriers depot too far away to collect from them, wont order again because of their delivery partners

I found The Tapas Lunch Company because I wanted to be able to get hold of real authentic Spanish foods.

Very impressed with the level of service received following my order, I got regular messages regarding when my things would be delivered down to the very hour.

The food itself is exquisite (got Chorizo, Manchego and Serano ham), very pleased and will be back again soon.
