I now owe more than when I started after I paid J&M for assistance.
I reached out to them regarding tax assistance. They talked a good game and made me believe that they could help with what I had going on even stating that they'llbe able to work out a reduction to less than half of the total balance. After research and consideration, I decided to take a chance and give them my business. It was late 2019 (I believe October-November) that I paid for the service. They were responsive up until about december in telling me that the process may take a while and I wouldn't have anything to worry about, and they would make sure everything was taken care of. They told me that there wasn't much that could be done over the holidays so I should check back in the new yr of 2020 and we'll continue to get the ball rolling.
As the new year 2020 rolled in, I got my a notice from the J&M team stating that they arranged a payment plan for me. The total balance was even more than my starting balance so I'm now in a worse position now than when I started with them. I reached out to them for months without no response. Calls emails you name it. I finally got an email in March with a generic response. So I essentially paid them for nothing, because I'm now in more of a bind than when I started. I would not recommend.

I started review and something flipped…
I started review and something flipped me out. It was very hard to get to those actually working on case. I would send in requested documents to person requesting them, be email, a nd a few weeks later someone in CS would call to request same docoments. This happened several times. I would call and ask if they had paperwork and right ha nd did n't know what right hand knew. I went tyo anotther similar business when I couldn't pay the arrangement with a business downturn and was told the settlement was very cookiecutter. Worst result was the state they insisted had to be my tax state I learned later was not the case. Tax state can be different than resident state. I have not resolved that filing mistake yet.

I had an installment agreement with IRS paying 250.00 a month I trusted community tax to help me they really dropped the ball now I have to pay 700.00 a month I'm paying more now than before I called community tax I really would like a refund they are a rip off they talk really rude to it's like there paying you my advice do not use them you are better off letting IRS solve your case

From the first phone call to the end when Community Tax resolved my text issue with IRS, everyone was very helpful and understanding.

no call backs, hard to get a hold of, IRS says they have no agreement, you took 7k of the money my father left behind to file a couple years of taxes that were not that hard, I could have done, but I relied on your expertise and you not only robbed me but failed as what business you are advertising. Want to Get Help with Back Taxes...Call IRS
If it were possible, I would not give a star at all.
The first person I spoke to was very professional. When I was transferred to Nathan McGoldrick, he was OK. However, that changed as soon as I paid the fee. Once I paid the fee, he would not call me back. He also was very hostel when ever I asked a question. I had to remind him several times that I was his client.
He seemed to get angry with me, the told me to call another number with now reason as to why. I call the number, and they had no idea why I was calling them.
After not hearing from your company for a few months, I called IRS and they had not heard from you. You had fiiied a POA, but nothing else.
When I called IRS, I talked with an agent, she said nothing had been done. I called Nate and asked what had he done. He said he would call me back.
After not hearing from him, I called IRS back and began to set up a payment plan...if I had set it up the cost per month would be a difference of $8.00. My payment was $358.00 rather than $350 per month that your company set up.
I feel that I did the work myself, but paid you for nothing. But that;s what happens when you are scared of the IRS.
