I had heard good things about the hotel but it was a big dissapointment. I was at my sons wedding cant fault the staff as they where lovely. But when it came to serving the meal they served the head table first in which i orderd roast beef i had the smallest drop of gravy in my yorkshire pudding an nothing on my beef and meal was also not that hot, we had finished our main an by that time the last table was given their main course their meal was cold and potato was hard, meals was slow at coming out for other tables, dessert was sticky toffee pud hardly any sauce on it and i couldnt even cut the through the top of it as it was like plastic. Then breakfast, staff was a bit slow coming to get our order but that was probably not enough staff on and the girls where nice but a 40 minute wait on our breakfast not good.

parking policy is atrocious. On a winters day didnt register car....didnt see notices as we are older and just wanted in. Meeting family so we were showed to our seats without mention of parking. 10 weeks later a fine arrives. They want a photo of the letter and proof of purchase....10 weeks later. fortunately i paid with vouchers so they have a record.....but was informed their head office was closed so i need to get a picture. Not in the least bit helpful

My husband and I had an evening meal for our anniversary. We both had an average chicken dish that was a bit over priced for the standard of food. When our meals came we weren’t asked if we wanted anything else or any condiments etc. we ordered 2 diet cokes and they were flat so we asked for 2 bottles of juice instead. We’ve been many times over the past few years and the menu is exactly the same now as it was 4+ years ago. Having exhausted the menu and ate average food we won’t be returning (at least) until they freshen things up….

Enjoyed a lovely meal with family at the Torrance Hotel. The food was really great and the service was excellent. Staff very attentive and accommodating. Makes such a difference to go somewhere that has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Hope to go back soon.

Great hotel in East Kilbride. Nice room and food and service was first class

booked 2 nights left after one night the room was cold no heating huge bathroom stone cold couldnt shower, next door room 6 the door groaned and squeeled lack of oil and the closure spring allowed door to slam all night long, the room was full of people shouting all night going in and out banging doors unpleasant night bolted from there 1st thing got refunded and discount. waste of a journey there, the fish and chips well the fish was an iceland frozen buget one not hand made and crispy at £14.50, you would be better off going to the local fish n chip shop,the watermelon and strawberrys had no strawberrys at all, the place used to be great sadly it has been ran into the ground and is a veniew for thugs and anyone wanting a mad party bouncing in and out of rooms all night mad with it. you will not get a quiet nights sleep there.be warned.
