In need of maintenance and repair
Sadly the grounds are beautiful however the spa is in need of repair and regular maintenance. You can never get through to someone on the reception as they don’t have a receptionist.
The changing rooms are dirty and not regularly refilled with shower gel etc. or cleaned. The lockers you have to bring your own padlock.
The indoor jacuzzi has not been working for over two months. There is hardly any staff. Or personal trainers for that matter. The gym equipment is dated and rusted in areas. Such a shame as this spa has all the potential to be a leading spa in the area. With this setting it could be exceptional. However basic maintenance and repair is not met, members do not have much to incentivise them to enjoy their facilities. The first point of call is reception where the phone is 99% of the time unanswered (missing potential spa days etc). It’s not the staffs fault. It’s the company. Staff which has been encountered have been polite and friendly. However their time needs to be spent ensuring the basic upkeep of the spa.
The only thing that saves this spa is the grounds it is kept at and the design.
