No vegan options
The Windmill has long been my goto place to eat based on the lovely view but this Sunday evening it let us down. We were a party of six, three vegans, one vegetarian and two omnivores. Our initial order was five Haringey Burgers and one moroccan tagine. NO Haringey burgers. Second order three Nut Roasts, fish and chips, scampi and moroccan tagine. NO nut roasts. We had to settle on three moroccan tagines to replace the nut roasts without the feta cheese. One of my vegan family members suggested that maybe the feta cheese could be replaced by the plant based mayo but this did not happen.
Our timing was dictated by a boat trip we had been on that afternoon.
Lovely place to visit
