Great Gym

Great Gym that has everything you would need. Clean and tidy at all times. Great customer service and friendly staff. I go most days because I find it a great place to exercise and relax. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

My “Third Space” Became My Second Home

Third Space Richmond has become my second home. The community is genuine, the attention is beautifully personal, and the trainers make you smile while your muscles are negotiating their resignation
Sally, Kayla, Peter and many others deserve a standing ovation.

Rylan Beech is a real credit to Third Space

I had a learn to lift session with Rylan today. He was exceptional. He didn't just show me what to do, he explained the movements, where injuries occur and adapted techniques for me. He was going back to basics but, of course, doing the basics correctly is imperative. I'd recommend Rylan without hesitation.

Beautiful gym with great energy

I’ve been going to third space Islington for about 4 years now. I absolutely love the gym and the space. The trainers are great, the clientele are so chilled and the energy feels great in the gym. I love the classes and mainly focus on yoga and Pilates. With the trainers I feel like the really listen and work with you well on your goals. Looking forward to the improvements to the pool and spa and the new reformer spaces. Overall I feel like it’s an investment in myself that I love. Very much an active but relaxing space to me.

Older people can be the face of fitness too

I applied for a job there as a receptionist recently. I had on paper all the experience needed. I am pivoting career and studying to become a PT self-paced. All aligning well with Third Space. Unfortunately for me it would appear, I am 56 years old although I don’t look like it. I have not seen anyone older than 20 years old at the receptions of the clubs I have been. Could this be ageism? If it is, when will it stop? Middle age people are aging well and they want to come to the gym not to look good, or not only to look good, but to be healthy and live well into their older years. Someone at the receptions can also represent middle aged people looking after themselves. I thought the Third Space mission was to train for life. Not only 20 years old human beings train for life. I am not against 20 years old people by the way, everyone has the right to make a living. I am for a fair representation of different demographics.

Third Space is honestly one of the best…

Third Space is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been part of. The facilities are excellent, always clean, well maintained, and clearly designed with a lot of thought. You can tell they care about the experience, not just packing the place with equipment.

What really sets it apart though is the community. It genuinely feels less like a gym and more like a family. The atmosphere is welcoming, people are friendly, and there’s a real sense that everyone there is invested in improving themselves while supporting others around them.

Yes, the price is high, there’s no pretending otherwise. But to their credit, they consistently reinvest into the space. There are constant upgrades, improvements, and even entirely new facilities opening, so it never feels like you’re paying a premium for something that stays stagnant.

If you want more than just a room full of machines, if you want a place that feels motivating, social, and genuinely high quality, Third Space is hard to beat.

There is a vast range of classes…

There is a vast range of classes throughout the day and evening; always one I can get booked on and I have tried so many I wouldn’t normally have. The facilities and staff at the clubs are outstanding and the environment makes me want to go more.

Poor communication over membership price increase

I was a member of Third Space for almost two years and, unfortunately, my experience towards the end has been disappointing.

My Founder membership was increased from £190 to £230 per month, but the communication around this was extremely poor. There were no notifications in the app, no signage in the gym, and no visible communication to members. I was told an email had been sent, but I never received it — the first I knew about the increase was when my direct debit had already been changed.

When I contacted the club to explain that I hadn’t received any communication about such a significant price increase, I was simply told that an email had been issued. Despite having the ability to see whether members had opened the email, they refused to refund the £40 increase for the two months while I was disputing it. For a supposedly premium gym, this felt inflexible and not particularly customer-focused.

It’s especially disappointing because the club started out feeling genuinely elite. However, over time the experience has declined. The gym is now extremely overcrowded during peak hours (around 6:30–8:00am and 4–7pm on weekdays), which makes it difficult to enjoy the facilities you’re paying a premium for.

Standards also seem to have slipped in smaller ways - even the protein shakes feel noticeably more 'watered' down than they used to. (An employee confirmed that this is because they have quietly reduced the amount of protein and other fruit ingredients that they use in shakes!)

Overall, what began as a great experience no longer feels worth the price point. I’ve now cancelled my membership and will be looking elsewhere.

Third Space Wimbledon is a great club!

Third Space Wimbledon is an exceptional Heath and Fitness club. The club is huge with a lots of state of the art equipment. There are hundreds of classes in dedicated studios to choose from and the changing rooms, showers and spa are superb. The best thing is the welcome and the customer service from the team - Jess, Ben and Daniel on the front desk always make me feel like a valued member and there’s a real community vibe. Yes it gets busy but there’s so much equipment you never have to wait for long for anything. Highly recommended.

Best gym in the city

Third Space Moorgate is an exceptional gym and easily one of the best fitness spaces in London. The facilities are beautifully designed, always spotless, and the equipment selection is excellent — whether you’re training for strength, conditioning or Hyrox-style workouts.

What really stands out is the atmosphere: it manages to feel both high-performance and welcoming at the same time. The staff are professional and helpful, and the classes are consistently well run with knowledgeable trainers. Concierge evens knows your name!

Destroyed by criminal corporate greed

What should be the pinnacle of gyms is completely undermined by what can only be described as borderline criminal levels of corporate greed.

I was a member of Third Space for years, starting at Marylebone and later moving to Moorgate. During that time I also brought in multiple family members, many of whom had personal trainers just as I did. Between us, we spent the better part of £50,000 with Third Space.

I eventually had to move abroad due to an emergency situation and notified the gym that I would be leaving at the end of the month. This was three days into the month. Their response? Because it wasn’t a full month’s notice, they insisted on charging not only the next month’s gym membership but also a full month of personal training.

That comes to over £750.

The situation with my father was even worse. He was also a member with a personal trainer, but was informed that his PT was leaving the gym. Naturally, he asked to cancel his PT sessions since his trainer could no longer work with him. Third Space gave him the exact same response: he would still be charged for another month despite it being Third Space who was moving his PT elsewhere.

After going back and forth with customer service, my father, my sister, and I all cancelled our memberships entirely after years with the company.

It’s also worth noting that this gym has a waiting list, so there is effectively zero financial loss to them if a member leaves - they simply replace them with someone already waiting to join.

Meanwhile, membership and personal training prices seem to increase every few months.

The facilities are good enough, but the policies and customer treatment reveal a level of greed that completely overshadows the experience.

Avoid at all costs.

P.S. A shout-out to the on-site staff and personal trainers, who are all great
