AVOID - DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE
DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY IN ADVANCE. They asked for £100 deposit to bring the car to my home. It seemed ok as they had sent a video of the car and it looked great. I asked for delivery at 4.30pm. They arrived two hours late just after it got dark. The car was really filthy inside, with dirt and a sticky mess in the glove compartment. When I opened the boot water came rushing down the INSIDE car panel into a big pool in the boot. It also made a damp patch in the passenger foot well and under the car - that’s a lot of water. I said the car didn’t meet expectations so wouldn’t be buying it. I was advised that I wouldn’t get my money back. They then offered £40. It got heated and was advised ‘you really don’t want to go down that route’. I let them go and spoke to them later and apologised for it getting heated as I just wanted the money for my daughter’s car fund. Three times he said he’d return my money. 1 mth later, and many messages, but not a penny back. I CANNOT RECOMMEND.
Sneaky Car Dealership
On the 24th of October I've seen one of their cars advertised in Auto trader and decided to contact them.
I've transferred the deposit of 500gbp on the same day.
After checking the car in more detail I've noticed that car had a Gas Kit installed, which I kindly asked them to remove it (and I would bare the cost). They said they wouldn't do it, even after finding for them a certified company 5min from their shop that would do that at my own expense. On that basis I've requested the cancelation of this purchase and the return of my 500gbp deposit. Since then they stopped answering my messages and they never returned the deposit. If you are looking for a serious car dealership stay away from these sneaky dealers.
Note: I will not stop sharing this online until I get my 500gbp deposit back
