Three approved and allowed the old tenant to meet a technician to disconnect and take our external box from our house when we were at work. We spoke the three 8 times wondering why our internet wasn't working but none of them could tell us why. It was only when the technician was organise 2 weeks later that he told me that he has already been to this address to disconnect it and he said the old tenant demanded to have the box. Both myself and my partner rand three multiple times to make a complaint as we should be compensated for the loss of internet at the very least not to mention the invasion of privacy. After we both made complaints iver two months ago not one person has gollow up with a phone call and we have not been given and credit or have been compensated as possible. This is a disgraceful service and I would not be recommending them to anyone. Stay away as they just don't care. I would also like to say this mu first ever review on any service provider I have ever made.
Been with 3 for years … go to their Dun Laoghaire store. We were there today checking out options and needed our mobiles checked as giving us problems. We can’t say enough good about the three members of staff there… Ronan and two others … a guy and a girl … Amanda maybe? they listened, offered suggestions and above all were so friendly and helpful.., rare to receive such great customer service these days… so refreshing👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Not fit for purpose and they won't let you out of a contract even if the piece of shit doesn't work. Stay clear of these scam artists. The product they offer is not fit for use. It can't even stream movie in decent quality and no chance with gaming .
I wish I could give zero stars. This has been the worst service experience I've ever had. The customer service is incredibly unhelpful—they keep repeating the same scripted responses.
Despite promises, I never received the minimum internet speed. When I raised this concern, I was told it's “expected during peak hours.” That statement alone made me regret choosing Three as my provider.
Had an amazing experience in one of the stores with the staff being extra helpful and offering me a way cheaper bill for myself and a plan for my kids as I was paying nearly double of that with Vodafone. Highly recommend.
I visited the Three store in Clonmel to buy a new phone. I'm a business user and currently have 4 phones on a bill contract. I went in at 9:30 as I didn't want to be in a big queue. I said good morning to the middle aged lady who looked at me with a sour puss and didn't reply. I asked if she could assist me with purchasing a new Samsung. I explained that I was looking for a good camera. She gave me another look of disdain and said "the top end phones are very expensive" that was literally all I got. I asked her if I could see one, she gestured towards the door "they're all over there". She pointed to a line of phones which all looked the same, as I'm not well informed about the latest model of any phone I had no idea what I was looking at. I asked her if she could explain the difference between the phone for over €1000 vs the one for €650. She muttered something about processing then walked away and started working at her desk. A man walked in an she started serving him and totally ignored me. I left and took my money to CEX where a lovely guy helped me. Haven't witnessed such bad manners in a long time.
Awful 5G Broadband upload speed. Download is okay (100 to 250 Mbps), but Upload is the slowest I have seen (2 to 5 Mbps), and I am in the central area of Dublin (there is a Three 5G antenna just in front of my window). Impossible to hold a video call, so working from home is a no-go. The modem was tested, moved around, refreshed, reset, and finally returned. I am glad there is a cool-off period, but then I had to pay € 13 for the return postage.
What an absolute shit show. I've been having issues with my internet now for almost a month . Had many phone calls and chats with the helpline for them to say the same thing and try resetting it many times which didn't fix the issue. Bare in mind I work from home so this has caused me so many issues with my work . I waited about 3 weeks for an engineer to call to the house, he landed today and now I've been told I will have to wait another couple of weeks as they need two workers to get on the roof. So I'll be well over a month without my internet working and constantly cutting off. Very bad customer service, little to no care about how long you're without internet. Will be switching to another provider. Was offered the month for free , doesn't take into consideration the hours of work I lost out on which has reflected in my wage. Absolute joke. Would not recommend three at all
They are horrible guys I promise you. When it comes to financing anything with them it is horrible. It’s so quick for them to take out the money from your account, but can you believe when they mess up and charge you twice or something of that nature happens it takes 20+ days for them to return the money. When you travel outside the EU their rates are ridiculous so be careful with that too if you ever consider going with these jokers, which I would not recommend by the way. I was in Morocco for 4 days and did not even have much service when I was there, I was relying on my cousin’s hotspot but can you believe when I got back to Ireland I had a bill of 250 euros for having my data on roaming even though I was not able to do anything other than get notifications. The rates were 5 euros per megabyte or something like that. I’m not one to normally sit down and write reviews but I honestly feel like this company is a cheat and a scam and has many ways of just keeping people stuck with them because they have little ways of tricking their customers into certain contracts.
Very happy with the broadband 5G modem, it works very well and WiFi is quick.
I recommend 100%
Ongoing issues with 3 Ireland, PAYG customer for years yet now im having issue after issue with them regarding my monthly top-ups. Started in march when i topped up 20 euros for my 28 day plan all good so i thought only i realised 3 days later i had no service and a message on my screen informing me i was out of credit, customer service kept telling me i would be refunded but it was only when i contacted COMREG for advice i actually got it. Roll on to now and the same thing has happened again 40 euros out of pocket within 19 days, rang customer service to be told i am to ring back 27th of May to tell them yet again of the issue i had and they will extend my plan no mention of a refund. Complaint sent in yet again because of the same issue and i will also be following it up with COMREG again to sort their incompetence once and for all.
Worst customer service i have ever received tried to pay a bill and madecso difficult
Even though I had a scheduled top-up, my credit ran out, so I had to manually top up my credit. Then, seven days later, they charged me again for the scheduled top-up. I submitted a complaint through my personal Three account. They replied with a formal explanation and instructed me to send a complaint to an email address in order to request a refund. However, when I sent the complaint to that address, I received an automatic response within a minute stating that the email address did not exist.
This is the third time I’ve submitted a complaint, and every time I just get useless links that lead to more useless links.
I complained that I had a scheduled top-up, and that they double-charged me due to their own error. They told me that they couldn’t refund the money to my account, but that they would deduct the overcharged amount from next month’s top-up. They also told me to cancel my scheduled top-up, and then re-enable it again once the compensation is applied next month.
This morning, I received another message saying my credit is low and I had no internet access.
In other words, they misled me, lied to me, stole my credit, and caused me unnecessary stress again
This time, I will resolve this through legal means
Setting up My3, as a new broadband customer, is a non stop merry-go-round. The WiFi signal is ok and their branch staff (Bray) competent but accessing my billing details impossible.
Can’t give them 0 stars, so giving 1. Three is the worst network provider and their customer service is worse than that. They just read off from script everytime you talk to them and don’t actually help the customer. Can’t even talk to their supervisor to explain the problem as they don’t want to talk to customers. Really bad experience with them and would not recommend three to anyone.
Absolutely shocking! Days without 4g and years paying for a plan and I’m told to get a new sim that the network will work better! No talk of any sort of solution to the problem. Look for other options as there are cheaper better networks
I don't know why 3 bother commenting on every review when they have no interest in helping or resolving the issue. Terrible customer service, robbing long time customers. Not to mentioned being told that I won't get better moving to a different provider. 3 do not care about their customers at all.
Messed around is an understatement. Tried to overcharge me for a broadband service that had been cancelled within the 30 days. Thought the issue was resolved after speaking with them then get a call 2 hours later about paying the outstanding bill.again. I asked to speak to a supervisor at least 8 times ( last guy told me ah there's no need to speak with a supervisor) there was still no contact from them nearly 4 weeks later after spending at least 5 or 6 hours on the phone to "customer care". Some staff were extremely helpful others not so much and very rude and snotty. They brought the charges down fromm 100€ to 24€ in the end for the inconvenience . If your considering switching to them don't bother. The 5g broadband gives you at most 12 mbs it's not worth it take your business elsewhere .
