Conversions hang, support lacking in quality care
For nearly a year I was very satisfied with the software. However a little over a month ago, song conversions started hanging at 99%. This is software that I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. Technical support has been a nightmare, telling me to be patient (30 support e-mails now in the past month) and even tried to switch me over to other programs that they suggested are better. These other programs were so slow that a.) switching would be a stupid (and costly) endeavor, b.) the new programs were touted to have faster conversion features (far from accurate as the new program was only 1x speed) that DID NOT even exist and when I brought this issue to the support person’a attention I was told “oh sorry. That feature (10x speed) is not available in the version we want you to switch to”, and c.) why pay good money to a company for something else that is inferior when what I’ve currently paid for FAILS. After a few days of silence I wrote them back asking “why the silence” only to be told “we tried to switch you to another program” and “we told you to be patient.” This is not how PAYING consumers should be treated.
Do yourself a favor and stay away from this program. You’ll thank me later. It’s too bad. You could have had a good review by me. And if Tidabie decides to fix the problem and compensate me accordingly, I may consider deleting this comment. If it was possible, they wouldn’t even get one star.
UPDATE: After two months complaining about the lack of a solid working product, I wrote to support and asked for a refund for these two months. Their response? Canceled my service WITHOUT REFUNDING ME. AVOID THESE CROOKS!!!

sofware stoped working after a few downloads. not enough costumer support and i think i will request my money back. when downloading songs the program is very cpu intensive and takes a fair amount of time to convert the songs. To be honest some of the reviews seem fake.

I’m a music lover
I’m a music lover, DJ and absolute nut for audiophile quality music. I love Tidabie for its ease of use, quick wav ( or even faster 320 MP3 files ) downloads and absolutely attentive and friendly customer service. I had a problem opening up Tidabie due to a operating system upgrade and they walked me through solutions via email and got me back on track to downloading all my new tunes. It took a bit of going back and forth to see where the problem was and we were in completely different time zones ( so that added to the down time ) but it all worked out semi-easily after a few days of going back and forth. All it took was deleting and replacing some permissions and I was back good to go. I’ve been using the monthly subscription for 6 month or so and looking back I wish I just flat out subscribed for a lifetime. If you need to test and try it out, do so but don’t go too long paying that monthly especially when you notice the value this app/service brings to your table.Tidabie has been such a convenience with my music collecting and DJing that it’s well worth the lifetime subscription. I use a Denon SC5000 media player with a onboard 2TB SSD drive to store all of my downloaded wav files, so it really works in perfect sync with collecting music. I can now listen to my new and or favorite music where ever and when ever I want without having to be connected to WiFi. I bring my media player camping deep into the forest woods or on a sandy far away beach shore with zero to low mobile service and I can still have access to my high quality wav music downloaded with Tidabie. I also love the integration with Tidal that makes downloading music so easy it was self explanatory and no need to figure out how it all works through any tutorials or manuals. All the tutorials and manuals are there and available for your use if needed and are having a rough time setting up your first go. If you want the total control of wav or high mp3 quality music audio files and to be able to have access to it without having to log in and stream it - then Tidabie is a easy no brainer of a app/service. Just don’t make the same mistake I did and over pay for a longer period of time you need to with monthly payments. Pay the $130 and get that lifetime subscription because if you live and love music like I do then you’ll be using Tidabie on the regular everyday basis. Keep up the great work Tidabie!!
If there was one improvement I’d love to see Tidabie do ( and this would probably be a long stretch of a request ), it would be to integrate with Denon DJ Prime products and have Tidabie onboard with my Denon SC6000 so I can download directly to it rather then having to go laptop to media player.
Lots of positive reviews but...
So lots of positive reviews, and one negative... My experience is also negative, similar issues with hanging and CPU overload. Sound quality (extracting 48kHz FLAC) excellent when it works.
So let's dig a little deeper... I'm using older hardware (Mid 2012 MacBook Air with i7 and 8GB RAM). This app can't cope, ActivityMonitor goes well above 100% (with 2 cores 200% is theoretical max), and things get hot.
Tidabie support have not engaged with this issue. I would prefer my conversions to take a lot longer (if necessary) but complete a whole list unattended, than what happens currently which is that it runs quite fast but stalls after a few tracks, or less. You then have to abort and retry. Longer tracks (over 10 mins) are virtually impossible to transcode. Unattended conversion is a pipe dream in this situation.
Sadly this makes a potentially brilliant product useless for such hardware, and so at the very least the app could run some environment checks and suggest you just don't bother...
Maybe the devs think we are stupid to run this on 10yr old hardware, but my bet is unfavourable reviews will persist until this is sorted out. It *should* be simple enough to throttle back the transcoding, let it take (a lot) longer if necessary, but complete a long list of files/tracks to convert. Sort this out and this would be phenomenal. But as it stands it may not suit your system or expectations at all...

I'm currently trying their free trial…
I'm currently trying their free trial which allows you to download any 3 tracks at a time, with a maximum download length of 3 minutes.
The output quality is solid native quality and I get the FLAC files with the bitrate that I wanted, so this is very impressive. On top of that, the app interface and their website are actually really well made and makes me think that an entire team of developers worked on this app, which is why I trusted to download and install an app with few reviews and essentially no trace online.
Thinking of paying for their premium which would let me download all of the tracks that I want at once and at full length as other options like Tidal GUI are no longer working and this seems to be the only option (not that this is disappointing as there is clearly a lot of work put in!)
If you are looking for a downloader to…
If you are looking for a downloader to download your tidal music, then check this one out. It lets you download any kind of music from tidal within seconds and it’s a cool thing.
Normally you have to pay for services like tidal to be able to download your music, and you are not able to download them as mp3.
I like to have my music as an mp3 file so I can use it as often as I want and transfer it to other devices like my phone.
With this downloader I´m finally able to do that and its really easy to do. Simply go to tehir site and download the downloader for your pc, which you can choose from the windows or mac version. In my case I used the mac version and it worked pretty good. I never had issues with it.
Now you can easily download the music from tidal within a few clicks and save it to your pc.
I think this is a good way to keep the music you like forever on your device. Yes I know the producer of the music don’t get any credit for it, but in this times music, videos, movies and much more is not cheap and some students can´t afford this.
So I know its not a problem solving tool forever, but at least as long as you cant afford any of these by yourself. And to be honest I don’t want to pay for a whole album if there a only like two songs I like, so this downloader is perfect to download only the ones you like.
Also the support will help you out if you have any questions and they are really friendly.
Pros: friendly userface, many opportunities, can download any song or album, easy to use, really fast.
Cons: you may need to have a tidal subscription to be able to download songs, but with a vpn that shoud work without any costs
This app is trendy
This app is trendy. I can download all my favorite songs and listen to them without using tidal. The price point is very affordable for the sound quality that you receive. I recently emailed the customer service team to ask some general questions, and the response I received was prompt and very helpful. Overall, I have had a positive experience using this service. I would recommend it to all of my family and friends.
Terrible support. Buggy software
The software has major technical issue. It stops working after some time. When it is working it results in a above acceptable CPU temperature. The "support" is ignoring all requests that do not ask for a refund. Once you ask for a refund they have a lot of excuses and start ignoring you after some time. The promised 24/7 support is not existing. The money back guarantee appears to be a scam. Stay away from this software.

I think it is very convenient
I think it is very convenient, you can download songs and play them offline without even installing the tidal app.
