The Tipsy House was formed by three friends from the North East of Scotland in November 2020. We decided to create a business that focused on converting your favourite alcohol bottles into premium candles. We use eco-soy wax and recycled bottles which are sustainably sourced making our products both eco and vegan friendly. The candles are prepared in small batches and are poured by hand to ensure a high quality of product that fits perfectly into every home. The burn time varies from 40 to 80 hours depending on the size of the candle. All our products are eco-friendly as our goal is to reverse the environmental impact created from single use glass products.

Beautiful on the outside but not on the inside
The candle arrived safely and well wrapped. It looks amazing, too. However, I am very disappointed with the smell (or lack of). It's burned on 4 occasions now of between 3 and 4 hours each time, and we are just getting nothing at all from it. Even leaving the room and coming back in, you wouldn't know a candle was on.

Received my first candle as a gift and loved it. I have ordered two more as gifts for
First candle arrived in a box with some information about the company. I loved that. Unfortunately the second one wasn’t so great it arrived in an ordinary brown box with no info about the company.
The candles were still lovely though.

The candles are fantastic. Unfortunately the delivery time wasn’t really acceptable. I waited around 12 days for delivery. Missed the birthday date for the gift. But candles so good I kept it anyway
