The Tipsy House was formed by three friends from the North East of Scotland in November 2020. We decided to create a business that focused on converting your favourite alcohol bottles into premium candles. We use eco-soy wax and recycled bottles which are sustainably sourced making our products both eco and vegan friendly. The candles are prepared in small batches and are poured by hand to ensure a high quality of product that fits perfectly into every home. The burn time varies from 40 to 80 hours depending on the size of the candle. All our products are eco-friendly as our goal is to reverse the environmental impact created from single use glass products.

Hi Emma, your order was placed late at night on 8th June and with all our candles being custom made and take at least 2 days to settle. We then posted the package out via courier on the 11th June. If you check the tracking email that was sent to you it is actually out for delivery today! We are sorry for the inconvenience and we really are trying our best but unfortunately the delay has been with the courier.

Innovative business with a 5-star product!
I ordered one of the gin candles as a present and I was pleased to see it was shipped out to me in only a few days. The quality itself was fantastic - I wasn't sure what to expect as it was my first time ordering (I have since ordered a few more!) but it looked amazing. I really like the idea of being able to match any type of bottle to the room you are going to keep it in, or just to match your favourite drink, such a great idea to brighten up any room.
I am always looking for ways to up-cycle anything I have in the house and coming across a local business that is using innovative solutions to unused bottles is fantastic.
I have already recommended this business to numerous friends and family and they've all enjoyed their new candles too - looking forward to continuing to grow my bottle candle collection!
