Excellent experience.
Friendly, professional, honest, highly recommended.
We live 150 miles from Bridgend and were cautious about buying a vehicle long distance but TJ Car Sales had what we were looking for. We viewed our car, an Audi Q2, on a Sunday and collected it the following Friday.
Mike was the salesman who dealt with us and we cannot praise him enough. The car had only just come in and had not been through its full pre-sale process, except for having new tyres fitted, so the first thing he did when we viewed it was highlight the various parts that needed attention. A couple of minor bodywork dings, new number plates, full valet, refurbish alloys etc. He was very honest & open.
After driving the car we decided to buy it and put down a deposit, arranging to come back five days later.
In that time, all the work previously mentioned was done, plus a service & MOT. Mike kept us up to date with everything that was happening at all times. We had also arranged to have a full independent pre-purchase check done through ClickMechanic on the morning of our collection day (which was also excellent).
Every part of the extensive check came back as excellent or very good, except for a faulty rear wiper motor and batteries that needed replacing in the keys.
This was one hour before our arrival - both were seen to before we got there.
Mike very kindly picked us up from the railway station and we were soon going through all the paperwork, guided efficiently and professionally by him.
And then it was time for a most enjoyable three hour drive home in our lovely new car, both of us beaming from ear to ear!
Our whole experience dealing with Mike in particular and TJ Car Sales in general has been excellent, we cannot praise them enough and - despite the long distance - we would certainly buy from them again.
This review was written nine days after purchase - and we still love our car!

Bought a right lemon off this company. Was sold a 68 plate custom van for £14,000. The van was faded and t-cutted covered so it didn't show up when i purchased it. It has a power drain somewhere on it. Been nothing but trouble. They sold me this knowing the things they covered up. My wife is in a wheelchair. I contacted the garage and they ignored my message. Stay clear.
Not happy, never again.

My Partner and I went up to view a couple of cars with T J Car Sales. We were greeted by Martyn and made to feel very comfortable. He couldn't do enough for us, even when we were being a little awkward and wanted to test drive a few cars he was more than happy to help. By far the best car purchase experience I've ever had. We went to view a car down at TG car sales today, we was greeted on arrival by Martyn, Martyn was nothing but helpful from start to finish, showing us around the car and taking us out on a test drive, we felt the car was amazing value for money and priced well, and they also give us a very good deal on a trade in price, Martyn was not pushy at all when it came to the sale. an amazing family run business which was very welcoming and very professional, highly recommend to others looking to buy a car from here.

Went to buy a car for my wife, Car was great, sales was a pleasant experience, only issue was the aftercare during warranty period, took the car back on three occasions for a airflow sensor to be changed and they didn't do it, simply reset the engine management light and same problem appeared again, it's a hours drive there so gave up and took it to our local garage to be sorted shame really because the process with them was great and the car is great.

We had the absolute pleasure of having mikes help to buy a car he was very professional and informative had a amazing customer service, and as an added bonus was incredible with my kids keeping the entertained while I looked over the car, although his forte is cars he made brilliant paper airplanes for them lol! Thank you for everything I love my new car

Bought a Mercedes GLA last week and very happy with how the purchase went. Martyn was very helpful and professional and nothing was too much trouble. What a service from start to finish. When I got there I was greeted by Mike and was so helpful and polite. Didn’t push for a sale one bit got the keys to a car I liked and left me to it. Mike and the guys gave me a generous offer on a part-ex wich helped massively towards my new car. Cannot recommend these guys enough. I will 100% go back there for another car and also highly recommend tjs to anyone who’s looking. Also phoned me after sale to come in and replace batteries on keys. Excellent experience wich is what’s needed. 10/10

The best car buying experience we've ever had! Mike was brilliant from the moment we walked into the yard nothing was a problem. We've had some awful experiences when buying cars in the past and I would not even hesitate to come back for another.
We were not followed around the cars like you are in other dealerships, or hassled, or rushed we asked a question and got honest answers about everything. They were upfront and honest and we truly had one of the best customer experiences - from start to finish it was the easiest process. We couldn't be happier with our new car. Thank you again! I recently purchased a car from Chris at TJ Car Sales and I can't speak highly enough of the service I received. Chris did a sizable chunk of research on the car for me before I went to see it in person, always replying to email questions very promptly. On the day I went to see the car Chris and Tom were great. I had time to look around the car before we went out for a test drive and there was no pushy sales pitch afterwards. A really good buying experience - thank you Chris!

To start with the car we bought for my wife around four weeks ago is great exactly what she wanted and sales team were helpful and the presentation of the car when we collected it was excellent. The problem started with the aftercare, within a week we had problems with the rear light cluster and engine management light came on, called up as still under warranty and travelled a hour back on agreed day to have looked at, problem diagnosis was a air flow sensor and new light wire system. Since then been down twice and the lights issue has been sorted however rather than change the sensor as agreed all they keep doing is resetting the engine management light. Was told last time sensor will be ordered and changed tomorrow however called today to confirm and sensor hasn't been ordered and car isn't booked in to be done so now I booked in to our local garage to get done. Overall our experience isnt great, wouldn't advise taking out the extended warranty they offer as the clearly look for any way to avoid spending money on sales aftercare.
