Easy and straightforward car-buy for me at TJ Car Sales Bridgend. Zac was very helpful from start to finish. Friendly and knowledgeable guy to deal with. Sorted all the paperwork for me. I would definitely recommend them and would go back there for my next car.

I bought a 19 plate Mini Cooper S in March. There was a couple of very small issues which Tom arranged to be carried out. Picked up my car and the issues that I raised have been carried out to an excellent standard. Thank you Tom so much. Highly recommend Tom at TJ Car Sales.

I purchased a Mercedes GLA AMG Line from TJ Car Sales back in March, travelling from Abercynon to get the car, and overall I’ve had a really positive experience. Not long after buying it, I noticed a small issue with the boot, which was a bit frustrating at first. However, the way the team handled everything completely reassured me.

From the moment I got in touch, they were nothing but helpful, professional, and easy to deal with. There was no hesitation — they took responsibility straight away and arranged to get the issue sorted quickly. The repair to the boot was completed efficiently and to a high standard, and I was kept updated throughout the whole process, which I really appreciated.

It’s not often you come across a dealership that genuinely looks after its customers after the sale, but TJ Car Sales definitely proved they do. Their aftercare and customer service really stood out and made the whole situation stress-free in the end.

I’m now very happy with my Mercedes GLA AMG Line and would highly recommend TJ Car Sales to anyone looking for a quality car and a trustworthy service.

I have just purchased a little mini from this company as my daughter's first car. We called in unannounced to see it and immediately felt reassured as it was in the garage up in the air have new brakes and discs.

Mike was our salesman, he wasn't at all pushy and seemed very keen to ensure the first car experience went well for us. He promised that the car would look and drive perfectly for her when we picked it up, and he was true to his word.

Sadly on the way home we discovered the radio didn't work, which was strange as it had when we were on the test drive, but I called them up and they are going to sort that out for us next week, no quibble at all.

Their reputation is clearly something that means a lot to them and this comes across in their commitment to provide a service and product they can be proud of. I have complete faith in their integrity and feel that we made the right decision buying the car from TJ car sales.

I had a great experience with TJ Car Sales, especially as this was my first car, and they made the whole process so easy and stress-free and answered alot of my questions..
The staff were friendly, especially patient, and incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer all my questions. I never felt pressured and always felt supported, which really meant a lot as a first-time buyer.

I purchased the most expensive car on site, and they sold it to me faulty. On the way home from buying it, fault lights were coming up on the car and the car cut out. The next day, the car had no power and broke down several times, completely cutting out whilst driving in 5th gear, and after having it plugged in by a reputable garage, it showed more than 25 faults!!!

I rang TJ cars to explain what happened and that I would like to return the car for a refund, but was told they needed to authorise this with the boss who would call me back. He didn’t. I chased them many times that day, but the boss refused to speak to me, his salesmen making excuses for why he couldn’t take my call, one being that he was on auction sites buying cars. I was told he would call me back by the end of the day.
Again, he didn’t.

I chased for another two days but again was given feeble excuses. Eventually, after calling and calling them, I was told by a salesman that a tow truck would pick up the car on Friday and I would get my refund straight away.

On the following Monday, the car was re-advertised for sale! But still no refund and no contact from the boss whatsoever. I was told I’d get a refund by the Tuesday. On Tuesday I was asked if I wanted the car back and if it happened again, I could get my money back!
When I said no, I was then told I wouldn’t get my refund that day because the boss was golfing all day.

I had to threaten them with legal action in order to get my refund.
The customer service was despicable. Clearly they’ve no idea about consumer rights and clearly the car was not tested, before I bought it or after I returned it and the boss is not interested at all.

Go to a reputable dealer and do not waste your time or money here!!

To add - their reply is somewhat laughable.

I took a picture of all of the diagnostic faults but unable to upload it here. In their own contract it states that a customer has a 14 day period in which they can return a car for ANY reason. Clearly they still do not know the Consumer Rights Act which gives you 30 days to return a car.

Great service, Chris was really friendly and helpful. Perfect car and very fair price. Would very much recommend.

What a different experience!! We had been searching for a first car for our son. unfortunately we had experienced a rather horrendous experience prior to this & were a little sceptical and guarded. TJ Cars restored our trust in people and Chris was fantastic. He put no pressure on me but kept me updated at all times, it is fair to say they went above and beyond to provide our son with his first car, which was wonderful. We have nothing but praise and recommendation for TJ Cars & Chris is a credit to them & their team. Thank you so much & a nod to Wayne too for going above and beyond making the car look fabulous when we collected it 🙌. Thank you all so much!!

Chris was very helpful and handled the whole process from start to finish. Couldnt do more for me.

The car in the first 24 hours seems to be fine, time will tell on that but I do have a 12 month extended warranty for peace of mind.

Never bought a car from a car sales before in over 30 years of driving but spotted a particular spec'd car I have been searching for, for the past 2 months so contacted TJ Car Sales on a whim thinking lets give it a go!

So rang TJ Car Sales and the salesman Mike picked up to talk about the car, next minute I had a video call to show the car to reassure the condition before I made the journey to view. Made my day that tbh as I was car-less for the past 2 months and desperate for a new car but weary about buying a new car.

From start to finish Mike has been very transparent with the sale of the car and what needed doing and has been done. Had a service, timing belt kit, new seatbelt, a few scratches sorted, the car detailed and tyres all in the deal. I was even given a courtesy car whilst some bits were being done to keep me on the road.

Can't thank you enough Mike for the customer quality and service you have shown to me. Wish you and your family all the best, we're not here for a long time but a good time matey!

Friendly, professional, honest, highly recommended.
We live 150 miles from Bridgend and were cautious about buying a vehicle long distance but TJ Car Sales had what we were looking for. We viewed our car, an Audi Q2, on a Sunday and collected it the following Friday.
Mike was the salesman who dealt with us and we cannot praise him enough. The car had only just come in and had not been through its full pre-sale process, except for having new tyres fitted, so the first thing he did when we viewed it was highlight the various parts that needed attention. A couple of minor bodywork dings, new number plates, full valet, refurbish alloys etc. He was very honest & open.
After driving the car we decided to buy it and put down a deposit, arranging to come back five days later.
In that time, all the work previously mentioned was done, plus a service & MOT. Mike kept us up to date with everything that was happening at all times. We had also arranged to have a full independent pre-purchase check done through ClickMechanic on the morning of our collection day (which was also excellent).
Every part of the extensive check came back as excellent or very good, except for a faulty rear wiper motor and batteries that needed replacing in the keys.
This was one hour before our arrival - both were seen to before we got there.
Mike very kindly picked us up from the railway station and we were soon going through all the paperwork, guided efficiently and professionally by him.
And then it was time for a most enjoyable three hour drive home in our lovely new car, both of us beaming from ear to ear!
Our whole experience dealing with Mike in particular and TJ Car Sales in general has been excellent, we cannot praise them enough and - despite the long distance - we would certainly buy from them again.
This review was written nine days after purchase - and we still love our car!
