I've just received my order from TK…

I've just received my order from TK MAXX -28915128. It consists for four smashed up dented tins of bath cream - with one cap dented and the contents have leaked over the entire order (they were clearly packed in this state as they were in cardboard protective coverings) and two ortigia hand creams that where absolutely smashed up too! These were going to be a present - but as they look like something from the dented tin section of the supermarket, they now won't. I'LL NEVEWR BUY ON LINE AGIAN!!!!!! JUST TO ADD, IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.

***WELL OVER A WEEK SINCE I EMAILED TKMAXX AND NOT EVEN A RESPONSE! WELL THAT WILL BE NPS OF -10 MOVING FORWARD***

Worst Employees TKmaxx Eindhoven

I have spent thousands of euros in this shop over the years. Every month stop by to get a product, clothes, furniture…
I love the shop, but TKmaxx takes the trophy for the worst employees!
Where do you guys go to contract those people, in the bitter land? Only one or another that we can pull out of the rudeness hole.
As always, I was checking the makeup section and as a frequently buyer I know that we can not try it out, although they make it impossible for us to know what we are buying (stamping prices over the name, destroyed/dirty packages and repacking makeup that has been already opened, tested or broken). Just to clarify, once I bought a lipstick at TkMaxx Eindhoven, at home when I opened the package not only found out that the lipstick was a different color mentioned in the pack but found out that the actually lipstick was missing (the bullet was broken in half) and it wasn’t cheap! That without telling the countless time the product came used.
Anyways, I was simply getting a makeup pallet and happens that the pallet has a smart package design that allows us to check the product without necessarily open it. The makeup is sealed in the package, not open but exposed (if it makes sense), happens that I was with my daughter in my arms and held the pallet with the another hand, in a weird way that it exposed the content of the package. From somewhere a wide young lady came shouting very rudely “you can’t try the makeup“. I tried politely to tell that I wasn’t trying anything, that I wasn’t doing any “crime” to get that absurd reaction. She didn’t listen, kept repeating sarcastically what I and everyone who know how to read or have been at TKmaxx know: don’t open/try the makeup. What was extremely embarrassing, shaming and disturbing because the employee in any moment use the words “excuse”, “please” or any sort of politeness.
Well, I took a deep breath because I have social anxiety, tried not to fall in tears because everyone was looking and asked few questions like: “If I am gonna buy the product, could it have some way for it be checked before (color and integrity of the product)?”.
The employee told me: “See those prices? They are cheap and that is why you can’t try”.
But that wasn’t my question, checking integrity doesn’t apply trying the product, so, I repeated the question and she kept going sarcastically “you can check online or in another store, that is what I do”.
I didn’t want to buy a fight, but 70% of the products sold at Tkmaxx aren’t for sell in The Netherlands and most of them are out of collection, making really hard to check color online, and even so, that doesn’t guarantee the integrity’s of the product I am paying for.
She told me, again, very rudely, “you buy! If it’s not what you want we change or give money back”. What doesn’t make sense, because if I can’t check the product in shop, how will they change something that has been opened and tested?!
She kept saying something about TKmaax retail products very cheap, cheaper than any another local shop and that would sort of allow them to do what ever they want, even selling repacked products without make sure the right product is inside.
I told the employee that doesn’t matter how cheap they sell their products, my money is not grass. There are products that indeed are 2 or 3 euros in sale, but in general, we are gonna pay 10/15 € per piece and normally I buy a lot.
I made a few more questions but the employee pretended to be called and left me standing there extremely embarrassed.
Employees should be trained to deal respectfully with the costumer. Not only by smiling but how to talk and approach people in situations like this.
Had no need to the lady come shouting and mobizing the hole shop as if I was stilling.
If TkMaxx knows they get those problems with people opening the packages and trying them out, the company need to come with a better solution than shouting with costumers. Put it behind a counter or in a glass door cabinet where people chose what gonna buy, seen it but not touching it!
Also, the employees, at payment, could check if the make isn’t broken, used or missing - like they do with shoes by checking the sizes.
Last, but not least, it shouldn’t be allowed to repack opened products and not informer the buyer. Should have a sticker in every used/tested product, once it’s not hygienic and could literally spread disease out there.

Horrible customer servie in tk max nijmegen

I am soo disgused by the customer service in nijmegen the manager decided to throw policy map in the face of their customers how rude!!! the shop doen't even deserve 1 star to be honest. One tip for managers of tk max in nijmegen (learn from your regular employees) they understand the mening of customer service more than you 2.

Worst online shopping service - Avoid!

When you buy online, tkmaxx can change your order, a few days after the confirmation email, by cancelling items and at the same time they won't let you change the order anymore. Support service is not helpful at all.

I bought a pair of tables and they cancelled one of them 2 days later. I called support to cancel the other one, as I wanted the pair, and they told me they would cancel the delivery and refund me the next day. They didn't cancel the delivery, instead delivered the table to a random neighbour, and they haven't refunded me yet, claiming that now I have to get the table from my neighbour and return it back to tkmaxx for them to do the refund. After calling and calling again and talking to a few "senior managers", I asked them to commit to a day and a time slot for collection, they said they would send me an email with the details. Haven't heard back since.
