Too flimsy
I bought this mower for my daughter so she could follow us around while we cut the lawns. It’s ok for use inside on on a hard surface but not robust enough to use or easy to push on a lawn.

Second time i have used Tools today…
Second time i have used Tools today easy to order fast delivery and a good price. The low score given is due to lack of response when I emailed about a starting issue i had with the item.I had a reply saying forwarded to the workshop for their comments and that was it. So ended up getting help from a local company, who i shall now be using for my future purchases.

You received your order the following day, Sunday 31st May.
On that same day, when our offices were closed, you emailed us regarding an issue. Our sales team replied at 9:30am on Monday 1st June, the following day, to confirm that your email had been forwarded to our workshop.
We respond to all emails in the order they are received. As this is a particularly busy period, response times may be slightly longer than usual. At the time of posting this review, only 48 hours had passed which has not provided our technician sufficient time to respond to your query.
We feel this review is unfair and does not accurately reflect the level of service we have provided. Your order was processed and delivered promptly and your enquiry is currently being handled through our normal email support process,

Pricing is competitive but…
Pricing is competitive but I purchased against promises of fast despatch and quick delivery, This did not happen. When I chased it up I was offered a delivery a week later because 'toolstoday' preferred to use their own transport rather than a carrier. So if time is of the essence in your purchase make sure you factor this unreliability into your decision.

Robin, our delivery times for ride on lawn mowers differ from our standard delivery terms, as each machine must be fully assembled and undergo a comprehensive PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) process before despatch.
Our website states that delivery is typically around 5–10 days. By using our own delivery vehicles, we are able to provide customers with a far more personalised and professional service compared to using a third-party pallet courier.
We deliver hundreds of ride on lawn mowers each gardening season and are extremely proud of the positive feedback we consistently receive regarding our service.

I originally placed my order in April…
I originally placed my order in April and with delivery within 7 days. I rang on the 2nd May 2026 and was told the lawn mower in question hadn't yet been delivered to Tools Today. No mention of this when I placed my order.
I rang again on the 8th May and when I raised the issue of compensation I was offered a larger machine for the same price. I accepted that and the machine was sent on the 11th May and received by me on the 12th May.
