I’ve received my first batch of aligners with toothfairy and I’m really please at the customer service I’ve received, especially from Dr Monija and Claire. Super helpful and informative. So far, I do reccomend toothfairy. The aligners are working and advice has been great!

Scammer approach to elderly pulling 10 teeth instead of 1 and creating intense pressure on family that it was fatal otherwise. Left with no pain meds prescribed and no follow up. Then snuck into patients room to deliver dentures, put in screaming patients mouth and ran off.
Totally unprofessional and dramatic overcharges. Banned from the senior living facility

I spoke with Dr Monija this morning. She was perfectly on time. She explained in detail dos and donts and expanded on each area. She emphasised the importance of cleaning between eating and of the retainers and ensuring that I wear them atleast 22 hours a day and then indefinitely which I was aware of. The service which I am getting and what is yet to come is 5 star so far. I’m happy that the level of care is so high. I’d definitely recommend Toothfairy. Speaking with Dr Monija made me feel at ease and she was able to answer all my questions with strong responses. Thank you for supporting me on my tooth journey.

OK, here’s an honest review now I’ve come to the end of my treatment!

The product works, it works really well! My teeth are not perfect but i knew they wouldn’t be but they are 100% better, they are straight and a lot easer to clean between them, my teeth were crowded, especially the bottom, I also had a chip in my front tooth and after 14 sets of aligners they look brilliant! I had to have 3 sets of “refiners” at the end because my top and bottom front tooth was clashing and was uncomfortable to eat.. these were free of charge, I also had another 2 sets of aligners as one tooth wasn’t as it should be at the end of the treatment, these you have to pay for. I also had to have space creation done twice. Just to note, yes, the aligners can be / are sometimes uncomfortable but they are moving and arranging your teeth, this is to be expected, out of the 14 sets I had I would say 3 or 4 were uncomfortable where I had to file areas down with a nail file, it’s easy to do and not really an issue.

The staff are extremely friendly and approachable, I went to the London clinic, I live in Norwich so not too far on the train.
Once the treatment finished they filled in my chipped tooth ( £200) but I then had to order another top retainer (£99)

The reason I had given 4 stars is that you have to do a lot of the leg work yourself, it’s all app driven with video appointments available to speak to a dentist. This works for me but might not for other people. You simply logon to the app and schedule an appointment that suits you, again the video dentists are friendly and helpful.

The online chat needs work in my opinion, if you have an issue with an aligner they don’t listen but tell you to “use a nail file and file the problem area. To me , this is not good enough, you need to listen more and try and understand the issue. Aligners are work for 2 weeks and if they have to send you a replacement , which can be hard to persuade them you need it, it takes 2 weeks to arrive which obviously is not good enough as you will then be onto your next set!

Also, I wasn’t happy with the “retainers” . They tell you your last set is your retainers but these are simply not good enough to last, when you order a new set of retest a cost of £99 each they are much thicker, stronger and will last years so I assume they do this to get you to spend a little more money on the proper retainers.

For me, to make this a 5 star company they need to be more sympathetic on the chat with issues, follow up with you rather than you following up with them and once the better retainers at the end of the treatment, also, supply more chewy’s with each set.

I would happily have paid £2000 rather than the £1750 if that paid for the better retainers and more chew’s and hooks etc but overall I over the moon with the results for the cost of the treatment compared to other companys.

Aligners are awful, cheap plastic with rough edges that they tell you to file yourself!! Now I understand braces aren't ever going to be comfortable, but this is like wearing a lump of sharp uneven plastic in your mouth. Now I'll be honest and say I have nothing myself to compare to, but friends who have used Invisalign tell me they don't have the issues I have. You get what you pay for I guess.

I travelled almost 240 miles for my consultation and left feeling disappointed. The appointment felt more like a sales pitch than a discussion about treatment. We went straight to the most expensive package without talking through alternatives. Only afterwards did I find out about extra costs for IPR (£200) and retainers (£200), as well as treatment limitations that had never been mentioned before. The finance options I was offered also differed from what I expected. I decided not to proceed because I lost confidence in the transparency of the process.

Dr Shazray replied to me incredibly quickly, which has eased my fears until my dentist appointment tomorrow. He answered every question I gave him (and there were a lot!!) and explained it in a way that was perfect for my brain. Being able to use the tooth fairy app to speak to a dentist and ask these questions you don't normally have time to ask has been such a help to me! Cannot thank Dr Shazray enough for his help!!
