Had to book last minute move for me and my family and i’m so glad i chose top tier. they made the process quick and smooth even asked if i needed storage or wanted straight delivery. everyone in customer service was patient , friendly and addressed all my questions making me feel at ease with my decision. . i would definitely choose again and recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic work. Quote a price and it stayed the same throughout pickup and delivery. I’ve moved a few times in the last 11 years and that’s rare for moving cross the country. Appreciate ya

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are a moving brokerage firm, not an actual moving company. This was a move of a storage unit. We told them the size of the unit-- 7' x 10' x 8', listed the items it contained, and sent photos. They gave a "guaranteed" price over the phone, saying they were overestimating the size of the move. They gave a window of time that the movers would come--1-4pm. The storage space closed at 6pm. They arrived at 5:25--there's no way they could have moved the contents of the unit before the storage space closed. They doubled the price, saying that the size of the unit was bigger than what we'd told them. We argued with them--also saying that they didn't have the time to do the move (they said they could--at that point it was 5:40!). The person who'd hooked us with the "guaranteed" price was suddenly not available. Scam company. Go elsewhere.

Top Tier Moving group is a simple bait and switch. It cost me enough money now I had to clear out my bank account in order to pay them. They quoted me less than 5000 in the beginning and by the time they were done and I had no choice in the matter Because they held my furniture at Bay. They have increased over $12,000.
My entire amount of furniture included a dining room table, a twin frame two regular size bookshelves two end tables, one chair, and two China cabinets and a grandfather clock. I did have a Traeger smoker and a large toolbox. Other than that just boxes I had packed myself for a total of 52. As a disabled RN for over 20 years, I knew there was no way I could load these things myself I planned on moving from California to North Carolina so I could be near my grandchildren. I contacted top-tier and they gave me an estimate of less than $5000. Days before they were going to pick up The contacted me and said the original estimate was low. It was done incorrectly so they increase the price to nearly $$9000 having no other choice I move forward. Each time I was required to give them more money to be held by them without any options of changing due to the time of the scheduled pick up. I had called earlier several weeks before the pick up to add a few small things, but was told they couldn’t take that information until they called me which was on 16 September with the pick up scheduled for the 20th.
On the day of pick up, I was told that an additional charge of another 2 to $3000 was in order. through the tears, I called top-tier and explain that once again they were increasing the cost stating I was undercharged earlier after multiple discussions and calls and of course another additional payment to the Packers. My things were loaded on to the truck with about half the truck full 3/4 of the way up at best and I was told again I had to pay more… another thousand dollars. At this point I was well over $11,000 in debt to your company that was not providing me any response to my questions or concerns just will look into it and never did I hear from them.
today Sunday I received a call from the delivery driver stating he would be here tomorrow between noon and three but there would be an additional almost $1500 because he couldn’t bring in his 70 foot rig to unload at my apartment complex. He feared driving in the parking area. now this complex is brand new. And multiple semi’s are driving through the area often because they’re still building a very few cars in the parking lot and there is a direct line onto the property to my apartment with an easy parking area directly in front of my apartment, even for such a large truck. The driver explained he had hit a car the week before and was not going to drive anywhere near my apartment so I would have to pay to unload from his tractor trailer to a smaller truck and he would have to find people to assist him. This was what the additional charge was for when I sent pictures as well as a Google visual of the apartment and driving area he still refused. He said if I wanted to save money, I could get my own truck and People to meet him on the highway at a stop and we could load it and bring it to the apartment ourselves again I explained that’s not possible I’m disabled and I do not have people I can find to do this. I found a storage unit available right off the freeway and asked if he would deliver there again he said no it was too difficult to drive off the freeway to download my furniture. The only choice I had was to pick the furniture up at a truck stop with my own truck and People or pay him additional for him to get a smaller truck and bring it to my apartment so additional money was spent there now I’m up over $12,000 nearly $13,000. So tomorrow I’ll wait to see what I will receive from my total of $13,000. Will my furniture be in order a few pieces I had will all the boxes be available in there again I called and left messages as no one picked up at top-tier about this additional cost again I doubt I will hear a word back from them please please don’t use these people. They are terrible bait and switch and they don’t care how much they hurt you. They’re in it for the money and that’s it. You have no way to control who’s moving your furniture how they’ll treat it or how much they’re going to increase the cost to get their cut above and beyond what talk to your may or may not have given them oh, and by the way, they only accept cash or money order only from the post office. all money is supposed to be given to them before they either load or unload, depending on which end of the spectrum you’re at at that point to make sure that their money is in their hand before you can realize that once again, you’ve been duped.
Got my stuff…. Boxes broken open contents falling out. Antique China cabinet moved with glass left in place and completly destroyed! Wood antique dresser with deep groves throughout front!

This place is the BIGGEST scam I’ve ever seen. They vastly underestimate the amount of room you need in the truck, so when your movers show up, they demand more money from you. Our $1200 balance became $2100 VERY quickly. I had less stuff than I had told them I would have and they still underestimated by over 200 feet. I wound up leaving a number of my belongings because of this. Once they arrived at my house, there was an additional charge because there was an elevator in the building rather than taking the stairs. Their job was easier, but they still charged me more. Stay far away from this company.
Edit after reply:
Someone is lying and it’s not me. I did come in at the estimated cubic feet because I left $3,000 worth of belongings behind. I overestimated how much I would need and I was still almost 200 short. I renew that you use duplicitous efforts to get people to book with you and deliberately underestimate so that people would have to pay more upon arrival.

I hired this company to move my family in May of 2025. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Let me explain why. I explained that we would be getting rid of most of our furniture but would have machines, toolboxes, car parts, boxes and other items. I received my quote and paid my deposit. On June 28th, 2025 another company showed up to load our house up and move us. They were supposed to have 2 trucks but only came with one truck. Later that evening a driver showed up with a U-haul truck to finish loading our belongings. They had to tie my Cal-King mattress to the back of the truck and drove several hours to their facility. I had stated to them that we would be at our new house by the 7th of July. I was told that it could take a week or 2 before they deliveried. I started calling the week of the 7th to find out an ETA, but was told that a driver had not yet been assigned to our delivery. The following week I called again. I was told at this time that it could take them up to 21 days for delivery. I waited but still continued to call just to make sure. Even tried emailing that was something that was never answered. Finally 21 days had come and I called. Now I was told that it was 21 business days. They picked up our belongings on June 28th and did not deliver until August 22nd. Unfortunately, they showed up with a Semi and a shuttle truck that didn't have a lift gate. Thankfully, our friends came with a tractor and we had to use that in order to unload our items. We also had to find help to unload as they only had 2 people. My husband, friends and myself had to unload the Semi. I had to mark off all the boxes that were numbered, unfortunately only half of the items had stickers on them. I also had to take pictures of all the items that were BROKEN not just damaged but destroyed. We had an antique radio that the legs were ripped off the bottom. We brought 3 bookshelves that were packed full of boxes that we could hardly get them out. The backs were ripped out of the wood and some had holes through the back. My jewelry box also had the legs ripped off. They had taped the legs in a figure 8 and pulled the legs off. Floor lamp was completely broken and the shade was taped. My oak puzzle table was also taped closed and so all these items have to be repaired or replaced. Machines were completely broken. Toolboxes were also taped closed instead of shrink wrapped which they had with them when they picked up our belongings. I called the company and explained all the issues and they emailed me all the information to file a claim against them to have items fixed or replaced. I asked about the $30 for every day late that they owed me and was told that they had 30 business days to deliver and that I could ask for this in my claim. Moving is hard but this company will make it harder for you. You have 9 months to file your claim and then they will respond in 90 to 120 days and then you can file against whatever their decision is and that could take an additional 90 days. You could be doing this for well over a year after your move. They didn't unpack or take the boxes or all that other stuff they say they do. This has been extremely stressful and expensive as we had to purchase things to live the 7 weeks while we waited for our belongings to arrive. Customer Service after delivery has been rude and uncaring. This move went from our original quote to 3 times the amount. If you love your antiques, your belongings and your sanity... find someone else to move you.

Top Tier Moving Group is a broker not a moving company. In my experience they over promise, exaggerate, and outright lie about their services in order to get your deposit and pass you off to a transport company that they select. My initial quote was too low and I had them increase the cubic feet to make it more realistic. In any case the actual transport company did jack up the price to extract more money. I knew that going in and wasn’t surprised. My experience fell apart when the moving company – Mak Elite transport – showed up without moving pads. They proceeded to load my daughter’s apartment straight on the truck mostly without pads. They promised they were going to get some pads and wrap the furniture that same evening. It didn’t happen of course. 31 days and many, many phone calls later, the load shows up. Nearly every piece of furniture was damaged, a few completely broken into pieces. Moving boxes were crushed, and had been opened and gone through. Since the movers demand to be paid in cash before showing you the load, you’re stuck. The TV, sound system and other items “deemed” valuable were stolen. Half of the furniture didn’t even make it into the house and went straight to the dump. Top Tier is of course no help. They will tell you, probably for the first time, that they are just a broker, albeit the one who selected Mak Elite transport. They will point you to the insurance company, which in my case was CSI. Bottom line I paid about $4,500 to have about $6,000 worth of furniture and electronics destroyed or stolen. Insurance covered less than $70 worth of the loss.
Top Tier Moving Group failed at their core function which was to select a competent transport company. Mak Elite transport was incompetent and borderline criminal. I would avoid both.

Haven’t even gotten on the truck and already charging 20% more for just a few items they did not write down. Even removed some items and they basically said of I don’t pay the extra then they won’t ship the items. 4 days to go until I move so they know I have no choice or else! Unethical, plain and simple.

These guys are bottom of the barrel. Please avoid them like the plague. Trust me you will be me much happier in the long run. My issue starts with the lies I was told throughout the quote process. I was told I would have my stuff within a weeks time and they deliver to my area all the time with no issue as a regular route. It's all a lie I had my things picked up on 6/27/25 from my apartment in Washington and was also charged an additional $1500 because apparently the TWO inventories they conducted with me didn't estimate well enough how much space I would need in the truck. Weird if these guy call themselves professionals but would make such a drastic miscalculation but you're the one paying for it and all you get is a sorry it happens sometimes but if you read about them online it seems to be something they mistakenly do all the time weird. Anyways My move was to Phoenix, AZ I was told it would be delivered within 3-5 business days by my movers keep in mind it's a 20 hour drive. I looked past that and waited 4 days to give them a call to find out where my stuff was. I was told my stuff was still in Washington apparently sitting in a warehouse which I was never told would be part of the process. They told me it should be getting loaded onto the main truck within a couple of days. Fast forward to 7/5/25 and I get a email telling me my stuff will be getting loaded within a day and will be there within 3-5 business days and the driver will call the day before. Now 7/11/25 I call and ask for a update and I'm told it's just being loaded on the truck today!?!?!!. Have yet to complete this clown show of a ordeal but it's been down hill from the start and there's no way you're getting your money back from these guys. So forgot about any money back guarantees they mention. They know how to waste your time and weasel out of having to do it. Please I pray you make the right choice and learn from my mistakes. I'm guessing these guys won't be in business long or will need a name change real soon.

Avoid Top Tier Moving Group and Sala Moving and Storage at all costs.
This was hands-down the worst moving experience. Top Tier Moving Group (out of Florida) roped me in with one quote, only for New Jersey based Sala Moving and Storage, also called Move Safe Corp., US DOT 4296773 and US DOT 3999173 and US DOT 4243759 (who actually showed up) to jack the price up with a surprise $3,700+ upcharge. I closed on my house, half the truck was already loaded, and I had to vacate with no other options. Delivery was weeks late, customer service was evasive, and communication was a joke.
I was threatened with storage fees and indefinite holding of my furniture if I tried to dispute charges. When delivery day finally came, they refused my check (even though they accepted one at pickup), and demanded cash, Zelle, or a certified check—on a Sunday! This caused the movers to leave and come back the next day, threatening to continue to their next destination skipping me altogether. Total chaos. They even forced me to sign the delivery paperwork before unloading anything.
The truck arrived disorganized, and it was a miracle my things weren’t damaged more than they were or lost (though some were). I have pictures clearly showing I used considerably less square footage than charged. MasterCard was no help because I signed a contract. The only recourse I will pursue now is legal. This company operates like a bait-and-switch scam, playing middleman while third-party movers hold your belongings hostage.
Bottom line: I wouldn’t trust either company with a single cardboard box.

This is the worst company I have ever used to move. They are rude and unresponsive, and nothing is their fault. They changed pricing, didn’t show up on time. The damage was completely inexcusable. Stay way from this company at all cost.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Complete scam. I went through 2 different calls and described everything thing in complete detail of what I have and then of course like all the reviews say.. they show up and it’s all of the sudden 2 thousand dollars more. AGAIN, DO NOT USE THEM! And on top of all of this they were 2 days late.

Top Tier Moving Group is the worst group of people to deal with. Please stay away from this company. They quote you a price at the beginning to pull you in and at the time of pick and final delivery, they ask for much more in cash or they leave. Even their driver were telling us that Top Tier Moving group is the worst company there is. Please do not do any business with these people.

This "company" is a scam. They gave us a lowball offer and promised 1) guaranteed pick up date, 2) same day delivery, and 3) no hidden fees.
We called them the day before our scheduled move and they got angry with us saying it was a 2 day window - I explained that I had spoken with their agent and he had assured me it would only be on Sunday if there was a natural disaster. They confirmed it would still be same day delivery. The day after my scheduled move, the moving company showed up (a different company who we never spoke with prior), and told me I needed to sign a separate contract with them, that included many excessive fees and waivers of all liability. We tried unsuccessfully to get in touch with Top Tier but suddenly all their numbers were unreachable. We couldn't reach an agreement with the new movers so devastatingly, we couldn't move on our planned day. Top Tier then screamed at my spouse on the phone and said they'd be keeping our deposit since we "refused to use the movers" (also untrue). It seems to me that they're scammers trying to keep your deposit. Go elsewhere.

Avoid Top Tier Moving like the plague. Here's my experience.
The pickup driver (Igor), who couldn't communicate in English, took the postal money orders off a table without me handing them over and ran off with more than we were supposed to pay. This was theft.
They failed to provide a bill of lading confirming what they picked up via email until today, the delivery day. This is completely unprofessional.
Top Tier dared claim the delivery date was just an "estimated date," even though we agreed on an exact date—today, 6/16. For your peace of mind, steer clear of this company. Avoid them like the bubonic plague.

Same story as everyone else. I wish I had seen this before booking with them.
Scott from Australia promised all kinds of crap, "plenty of room, didn't need to list items on my inventory since I had so much room", "I'll be your guy, any problems just call and I'll take care of it." No call backs when I left messages. If I did get him on the phone he just transferred me to someone else. He Sucks.
Even worse customer service was from Justin who called to go over my final inventory. He calls several hours earlier than scheduled and literally yelled at me saying I was wrong. He also became a complete assh@le while going over my inventory because I had items that Scott did not record on my list, and then he hung up on me.
They sold my contract to Moving Prime who then arrived a day late and up-charged me a thousand dollars after I had already removed all the overage items. Then they also tried to change the terms of my original contract upon final delivery.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
SCAM WARNING!

Upcharges! I was promised no upcharges, but when the movers came, the third party, they wanted to get to charge me extra for every extra cubic foot. I had to leave many things behind was initially quoted $7,100 which went to $10,300! I was told by the movers to pay extra and sign additional charges but was also supposed to have called Top Tier for them to negotiate when they were loading. I was already overwhlemed with the day the move and signed papers for extra, which when I called Top Tier they said I was now basically screwed. Confusing process, I got stuck and load still won't be delivered to Pennsylvania for up to three weeks. Please Avoid Top Tier. I recieved no compensation from Top Tier for upcharges or inconveniences!

Same story as so many others, quote one price and show up demanding almost double additional. Claimed I didn't allow for enough cubic space. I pointed out that I had verbally accounted for all the items I wanted to ship and it was their employee (Bill Thompson) who determined how much cubic space I needed. Initially refused to refund deposit until I called Sheriff and started a dispute with my credit card company. Then they came back and offered to refund 85%. I would never use such a company that does business like they do. I was genuinely concerned that even had I agreed to the extra charge that they would have held my goods hostage for even more money.

Top Tier movers are criminals. Last year I needed to move from California to Pennsylvania. They quoted me a price of a little over $3000. I did a walk through of the house and garage and told them everything I had, including a gas welding oxygen and acetelyned tank. I told them that I a had a 22 rifle. I had a total of 14 medium size boxes of stuff, plus a bycicle. When the driver 3 crew driver showd up they told me they could not take the welder because it had gas, but if I gave them a $400 tip and drained the acetyline they would make an exception and take it. The stuff was supposed to arrive one week after they picked it up. Three months later they finally delivered. Supposedly I had 13 items, including a wooden circular planter that was not mine and I had no use for. The box that contained the 22 rifle was missing, but I did not realize that until after the delivery truck left. A lot of other stuff was missing, including everything in the box where I put the 22 rifle. The parking lot of the apartment where I moved was about 50 feet from my front door so they charged me an additonal $500 for "long carry". They added another few thousand in additional charges for various excuses, so the 3 thousand dollar quote ended up costing over $8 thousand. They added all the extra charges at the last minute after I had already made arrangements and it was too late to make other arrangements. These people should be in jail because they are con men and thieves.
