The worst company I ever dealt with, they needed to do a background on their drivers , I hated I go involved with this company I let them talk me into going with this company U-Haul is the way to go, somebody need to step up and put these people out business, how can they sleep at night knowing they do people wrong

Just spoke to a Josh Banks who said he was a manager. He talked so much I could not ask any questions, and I had several. He ended up hanging up on me when I interrupted him so I could ask questions. So not going to be doing business with this company.

If I could give Top Tier Moving Group no stars I would! You are better off packing up your stuff your self and driving it . They give you a quote for all your items and then movers come and give you a different quote because you need more space on the truck even though you have an estimate. Burnie is who I spoke with and assured me I was ok and added more space. spoke with Colleen after she also assured me I won’t be charged anything else when the movers come here I am a $2300 job to $3500. BUNCH OF SCAMMERS. Rent a truck everyone and enjoy the road trip! Be aware

STOP!!!!! DO NOT THINK TWICE!!! This is a fraudulent broker company. Take it from us, and elder couple that was lied to, contract broken, mis-lead on moving commitments and stoled our down payment of $ 3,000.
How can the employees, managers, sleep at night when their job is to steal from people and have a Conscience????
They need to be put OUT OF BUSINESS, FOREVER and repay all who lost a big chunk of MONEY!!!

This company is a bait and switch scam. They gave us a quote for one price, took a $2k deposit, and doubled the price on day of move. They refused to give our money back when we protested. They claim to be veteran owned but have no problems scamming a disabled veteran!

NOT a moving company a brokerage company. Total bate and switch. Gave me one price but when the movers came wanted to charge me 7400.00 on top of the 3800.00 I had already paid!! RIDICULOUS

⭐☆☆☆☆ Horrible Experience – Dishonest Pricing & Delayed Delivery
I had a terrible experience with this moving broker. We didn’t discover they were only a broker and not the moving company we thought we were hiring until the movers arrived – we were never told that. On January 16, 2025, they initially quoted a price of $1800, only to upcharge by over $1,200 once my belongings were ready to be loaded on the truck in Great Falls, MT on January 31. They drastically underestimated the space needed and then charged by cubic footage, despite assuring me there would be enough room. On top of that, they tacked on an extra $350 for "additional gas" and $200 to repack my items into their own boxes. To make matters worse, my belongings did not arrive on the promised date of February 1st, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Numerous calls were made to get an update for delivery. IF someone answered the phone, they said they would call back with an update but they never did. I got someone on the phone Monday, February 3rd and was told the belongings were in storage in Great Falls, and I could expediate shipment for more money. They corrected it to say the belongings were in storage in Missoula. After I told said they were holding the belongings hostage and I was exploring options, the goods were finally delivered yesterday, February 4th. Ten minutes before delivery they said the crew would not unload until they had cash or a money order. This is the first we were told of this although it is teeny tiny on the contract. This company is misleading and unprofessional—avoid them at all costs!

They give you one estimate and then a week before you're ready to move if anything in your inventory don't match what their original estimate was they will almost double your bid and if you've already put down a deposit which they demand you lose it. Never give a deposit to a moving company. I got lucky I lost my deposit hired another company on short notice and still save money. In my opinion top tier is a complete scam
I would not consider or recommend Top Tier Movers’ services to anyone after the ordeal I experienced with them. Their advertising promises a stress-free, end-to-end moving service, but my experience was far from that claim.
Top Tier Movers misrepresented the legitimacy of the quote, the delivery timeline, and the parties responsible for performing the services. The agreement was to pay one-third of the negotiated quote upfront, another third upon pickup, and the final third upon delivery, with the understanding that Top Tier Movers would manage, execute, and support the move from start to finish.
However, they subcontracted the pickup to another company, which raised the price by $700 during a phone call just 24 hours before the scheduled pickup—without honoring the original quote or conducting a visual inspection of the shipment. At this point, I had already paid one-third of the cost, packaged all items, and purchased airline tickets to coordinate accepting the delivery at the destination, leaving me with limited options to cancel the service. To make matters worse, the cross-country transportation and delivery were handled by yet another subcontractor.
The originally agreed delivery timeline of seven business days was not honored. The shipment arrived on the 21st business day, barely within the threshold of federal regulations regarding breach of contract penalties. Throughout this period, Top Tier Movers provided no meaningful customer service or support. Instead, they redirected my inquiries to voicemail boxes of their subcontractors, none of whom ever returned my calls.
It is clear that Top Tier Movers’ advertisements of a “stress-free” experience and “let us do it all for you” are gross misrepresentations of their business practices. Upon reflecting on the experience, their business model appears fraudulent. I am pursuing a social media and regulatory campaign to warn others and expose these deceptive practices.
Absolutely a scam. We were told we'd have a 13' of a 26' truck. Date of.moving a penske truck shows up with cardboard taped over the penske name. Guy comes in and says its going to cost a additional $10,000 to move you. We do it by cube. No moving company does this. Your deposit is not refundable its absolutely the biggest scam and how they do this is unreal. Classic case of bait and switch. Do not use them.

I hired Top Tier Moving Group on August 29th 2024 for a long distance move, not realizing they were a broker. I was desperate. My uhaul I had reserved for months had issues with equipment the day of pick up, so I had to improvise last minute. I reached out to Top Tier Moving Group thinking they were a regular moving company. I paid them $1,100 and they assigned Star Van Lines as my movers. Upon Star Van Lines arrival on August 30th 2024, I paid them $450. I received a bill of lading with the remaining balance of $450 due upon delivery/unloading. I still have it! I've been having a problem ever since. They loaded my stuff and put it in storage for me for 30 days free of charge and been holding my stuff hostage since September 30th 2024, when I reached out requesting delivery. It's November 11th 2024. They told me on three different occasions that my stuff was being loaded and would take four to six days to deliver. The last time they text me, they tacked on an extra $1,500 when my bill of lading (T4997238) clearly says my remaining balance due upon delivery is $450. Which means they're price gauging. Star Van Lines is now asking $480 as of today. Still above the bill of lading, instead of giving me a discount for the HUGE inconvenience, as a reputable company would. And Top Tier Moving Group insist they paid, out of pocket, $1000 to Star Van Lines on my behalf. This only means Top Tier Moving Group gave Star Van Lines the $1,000 out of the $1100 that I paid them. (Top Tier Moving Group) I could have found my own moving company, and as if they really helped me! Now they're claiming there's nothing they can do. Mind you, they don't tell you they're a broker and not a moving company until shit hits the fan. Which is also misleading. I even reached out to the owner of Star Van Lines to no avail. He's the one requesting $480 Top Tier moving group makes you think they're helping you when they're really hindering you. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Motor Carrier Services, FTC, Attorney generals in both States, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I have also file a police report as well as a small claims lawsuit against both companies. This is unacceptable. And a clear breach of contract on both parties parts.

I don't want to give them any stars. On July 15, 2024, we called to inquire about Top Tiers moving services. We made it clear we were working with a small budget because of the move. The first quote was way too high, so we declined. That's when Steven started to haggle and offered a lower negotiated quote that seemed doable. We explained to them, thoroughly, what we needed loading, which included about 40 boxes, some furniture, and 2 motorcycles. Steven explained they could only move one bike along with the rest of the stuff. A week later, the movers showed up, saw what we needed loading, and quickly told us that they could not start loading because Top Tier did not make it clear just how much room they would need and they were also unaware of the 1 bike. Their moving truck was not big enough because they had other movers for pick-up. We called Top Tier to rectify the situation and their response was "we need more money". Apparently, their policy is no partial refunds outside of 3 days. We informed them, because of the circumstances, we weren't aware, until the movers arrived, that nothing could be done. Bottom line, we ended up spending double to rent a pod and haul as much as we could ourselves. After going back and forth, regarding partial payment reimbursement, Top Tiers offered to send another moving truck, for the second time, to haul the remainder of our stuff. Again, the movers showed up with a small truck and told us that could not haul anything we had. Well, to make a long story longer, Top Tier would not reimburse us partially nor did they render any services. They will quote one negotiated price but trick customers into paying more in the end. That's why I say "buyer beware" if you call Top Tiers.
