Please Please please sort your website out as I am sure you are loosing business because of this, I am sure you turn it off over the weekends as it takes an eternity to log in and when/if you get in good luck finding what you are looking for

This Timber merchants ,is a good bit more than a Timber merchant,it’s definitely worth a visit,simply because they have so much you need for building,refurbishement projects etc,the price on materials are brilliant,especially if your a tradesman getting 10% discount,the staff are brilliant to deal with,a nice family run business and it certainly shows in the way they run there operations,the delivery guys are always very helpful,all around this company are excellent,I’ve been using this building merchants for over 30 years …..keep up the good work Totem Timber ……Regards Richie T

I wanted to describe my unpleasant experience with the store’s staff today. I want to emphasize that I am a regular customer. After making my purchases and already being at work, I received a call from the store accusing me of theft. Shocked by this, I decided to return to the store to clarify this absurd situation.

Immediately, I asked the manager to show me the evidence on which the accusations were based and to provide access to the surveillance footage. I was told that I could not see the recordings. Instead, I was shown an empty product package from the section where I had been shopping — and on that basis, I was accused of theft.

When I entered the store, everyone was looking at me as if I were a thief. I was neither proven guilty not apologized to.

I will certainly not let this go and intend to take legal action regarding this matter, until I receive an official apology from the staff. You have to be a complete idiot to accuse a loyal customer without any evidence — and then not even apologize in the end.

They always deliver when they say they will and the drivers are efficient, helpful and friendly.

Don’t go to them if you need to get some wood cuts done, because they won’t do it, unless you purchased the wood from them. I went there today because I needed 3 cuts, long cuts that can only be done properly with an industrial saw to keep a straight line cut, and they were only interested in I purchased the wood from them or not. Is not that they can’t provide the service, is that he was not interested in doing this service for me if the wood didn’t come from them. What does it matter? I am willing to pay for the service cut, not all of us have the facilities or money to have laser eye precision wood cutting at home. I was left by the team member like a completely piece of s… He said it was company policy, they won’t do the cut because I didn’t purchase their wood. But does it matter when you are willing to pay for the service? Seriously Totem, rethink your policy!! You are letting the people of plymouth down! I previously purchased wood from you, but you don’t seem to think in a customer service kind of way if you are treating members of the public like this. I Hope you reconsider your policy. You will make more money also!

Brilliant delivery and service.
Order and delivery was on time and date.
Driver was excellent and did a brilliant job on a very steep hill!

Awesome service and prices. Went in with a scribbled plan on a bit of paper and it took five minutes for the guys to work out what I wanted, cut plywood to the right size, and find me all the screws nails and sundries I needed for my project. Genuinely couldn't believe how easy it was to get everything I needed and well within my budget, and I couldn't be happier.

I ordered two dumpy bags of granite chippings by phone with Gary. They were delivered shortly afterwards by a helpful driver who carefully placed them exactly where I wanted on our drive.
The process was efficient, quality and value for money good.
