Rob T was incredible

Rob T was incredible, you need to keep hold of this lad - not enough good words to say about him.
He listened to my list of requirements and had the patience of a saint to find me a suitable car whilst being friendly and personable at the same time, answering my many questions without issue.
Ron then dealt with the sales process with speed and a humour.
It was very busy so I have been back to collect today which was again dealt with quickly and professionally.

I have visited the trade centre and have waited a long time to get the vehicle sorted however once coming in and speaking to the work shop regional manager jaz and after sales advisor Harvey who reassured me they would prioritize the vehicle and get it done before the end of the week, I am glad to say that they have lived up to there promise and have rectified the vehicle up to a great standard

I am extremely disappointed with my experience.

My car broke down and spent an entire month in the garage before I was finally told it was ready for collection yesterday. I was assured that the repairs had been completed, the vehicle had been test-driven, and that everything was in good working order.

However, on my drive home I immediately noticed the car pulling heavily to one side on the motorway. Concerned, I took it to another garage first thing this morning. As soon as I drove in, they noticed there was a problem. After inspecting the car, they found the wheel alignment was significantly out, which had already started causing uneven tyre wear.
What I cannot understand is how this wasn't picked up by qualified mechanics during the supposed inspection and test drive. It was obvious enough for another garage to spot immediately.

If Trade Centre attempt to remove this review, I have the booking confirmation and receipt from today's wheel alignment inspection and correction to support everything I've said. This should have been identified before the vehicle was returned to me, as well as any unnecessary tyre wear caused by the poor alignment. After waiting a month for my car to be repaired, I expected it to be returned in a safe and roadworthy condition. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

The worst experience I have ever had with a car dealership.

This company is by far the worst company I have ever had the unfortunate issue of dealing with.

We purchased our vehicle from them and everything seemed fine. The EMAC Warranty was sold 'hard', the fact you get an instant courtesy car if there are any problems and the after sales team would help with any problems. The process took a long time when purchasing and they are ABSOLUTELY sure to forcefully make you leave a trust pilot review (I have just revisited mine from the time and amended it).

Anyway, after a few days of having the vehicle the Engine Management light comes on. The vehicle is booked in to be inspected. On inspection we are told it's a minor issue and it needs to go in for the day for them to fix. We book it in and take it back (noting that is we want one of these courtesy cars that are available we would have to wait 6 weeks for them to see the car). My wife then sits there for 9 hours... Our vehicle does not move. Throughout the day there is a stream of unhappy customers visiting the after sales, bad language, threats, frustrated customers with broken cars. Eventually they tell my wife that she would need to come back and they offer a 'tank of fuel' as compensation for the lost time and inconvenience. The car is booked back in... This time my wife sits there all day again (she arrived at 0900), eventually (1730) after sales tell her that they have lost the key to our vehicle. Well - they've left it in another customers vehicle who had collected the vehicle earlier that day. They have apparently sent someone to collect the key and unfortunately they wouldn't be able to complete the job. Again we are told that we will get a tank of fuel' as compensation and the car is re-booked (still no availability for a courtesy car). Next booking, I take the vehicle myself and on arrival explain to them that I will not tolerate being messed about, this is our third visit and I expect the car to be repaired. After 4 hours they take the car and 'do the job'. I remind them of the tank of fuel 'compensation' that they promised and low and behold, this has been forgotten, the person who promised it has not put it on the system and it won't be happening. Great! (This is all within the first two weeks). Fast forward a few more weeks, I'm on the motorway and the car begins to shake erratically when doing 70MPH. So much so I end up in the hard shoulder and have to be recovered off the motorway to a garage. On inspection, they discover that the Anti-puncture gel 'stuff' that they have sold me when we bought the car has failed. Apparently this happens when it's installation process is not followed correctly... Anyway, I have to pay to have this removed from the tyres. It has effected the TPMS system (which no longer works). I email them a large letter of complaint about this and guess what... I have heard absolutely nothing back.

Perhaps most painful of this review, our Engine Management Light has come back on and we need to call and book this in. Just the thought of dealing with these lying clowns again is enough to make me insane but it's a service these clowns have dumped me in to paying for so I have no choice but to book it in and face the inevitable poor service and bad experience I know is ahead.

Hopefully this time they can actually repair the car so that the light does not come on. Funnily enough the fault code is the exact same fault code which is suspiciously odd given they have apparently fit a new sensor.

My advice to anyone that is considering purchasing a car through this company is to read all of the 1 Star reviews. Visit their after sales departments before you visit their sales department and observe the treatment you are going to get when something goes wrong with your vehicle. Walk away and find another dealer. Save your sanity!

More Issues and Existing Issue.

After having previous issues with my car (read previous review), I picked the car back up from Trade Centre Wednesbury on 9th July 2026, only to have the exhaust detach again, followed by my hazards randomly coming on by itself, and the car coming to an abrupt stop on its own, indicating a collision warning, even though I was some distance behind the car in front while only going 12/13 Mph coming up to a traffic stop.
Contacted Trade Centre, to be told the earliest they can get the car in is 11th August 2026 and was advised to contact RAC through my insurance to get a temporary fix so that the car is still drive-able, although I am not covered for home breakdowns.
Why so many issues in so little time? I have been without the car more than the Trade Centre having it.

I am now left WITHOUT A CAR, again, as this is NOT safe to drive.

TRADE CENTRE UK - STAY WELL CLEAR

All cars are purchased in from either ex-lease companies or auctions. Most of the vehicles are faulty, if.not dangerous. This company has no compassion, are scrupulous and don't care about the customer o ce they have signed on the dotted line!
STAY WELL CLEAR TO KEEP YOUR SANITY!!!

Ask me about my day out when my car's engine blew up on a dual carriageway...

If you fancy buying a faulty car that the 'dealership' 'fix' with a botch job that causes the whole engine to fail miles away from home, breaking down on the side of a dual carriageway and needing the police to come and section part of the road off for the AA to be able to come and recover you and tell you that the Trade Centre UK's 'replacement parts' have in fact melted ruining the engine, to then get towed to a dealership miles away from home and have to get all the way back home in 30 degree weather via public transport, then this is ABSOLUTELY the dealership for you.

Search 'Michelle Chancellor' on Facebook and enjoy a video of my day out where I discover the true condition of the car I bought from the Trade Centre UK...

and if that's not enough, there's not even a phone line for a complaints department. Funny that...
