Used their service in Nov-2021 for boiler maintenance and a gas certificate. Shockingly, in 2022, the boiler broke right before its annual service. Luckily, insurance covered the repair cost, sparing me from potentially spending hundreds. I only had to pay a £90 excess. Disappointingly, Transgas hadn't serviced the boiler at all. The fixing engineer provided evidence with photos. Disturbing how Transgas handles service verification, especially with gas certificates at stake.

I reached out, seeking a refund for the undelivered service and £90 BRITISH GAS insurance excess compensation. Sadly, they refused. Opting not to prolong the argument, my time is worth more than what they owe. As warned in my letter, sharing my experience to prevent them from easy money without service. The public is discerning; they can spot a genuine claim from a fake one. Spread the word!

Gas engineer Barry Corder was on time,and was good to deal with.He was helpful and professional.

Transgas has been a fantastic use to Hallways, we have used this company for landlords gas safety checks and all customers boiler services. The company was prompt to getting back to us and enabling their services to us. I've used them three times over a brief period from disconnecting gas meter to removing a complete heating system.Preofessional from start to finish, in fact on the last job they pulled out all the stops to get me an enginner as quickly as possible when a pump went and there was no hot water at the the taps.

Transgas Services provided a fast, calm, efficient Covid secure service with a timed appointment that fitted neatly into my working day with no “an engineer will be with you between 07:00 and 13:00” hanging around.
Their charming, efficient, unobtrusive and professional plumber arrived on the dot, fixed the first loo, said the flush on second had more life in it and that changing it was, in his opinion, an unnecessary expense (thank you, no one likes to spend money they don’t need to).
Their chap fixed the tap and told me that, as it was quite corroded, it would get worse again and need replacing. I really appreciated that he didn’t just crack on and replace it there and then with some random mis-matched tap, that instead he bought us some time to think about what to do long term.
No card reader “don’t get too close to me” anti-Covid dance faff, an invoice matching the estimate was sent by email and I paid effortlessly using my internet banking app. All in all a super experience, thank you.

Best plumbing company I've ever worked with. They were top rated on Trust A Trader so decided to go with them. They quoted £1000 less than the other two companies I approached, and installed better brand of boiler.

We recently had a new sink and tap plumbed in to the Kitchen, replacing an old plastic bowl with a shiny new porcelain bowl and a half. The work was carried out to a high quality, with minimal disruption and the engineers left the kitchen nice and tidy.

We were also advised the dishwasher was plumbed incorrectly and that it was a hazard waiting to happen. This was all fixed and even had a new outside tap and piping installed, replacing a leaking home DIY kit. Just in time for the sunshine.

I would highly recommend Transgas Services, and we are very happy with the work that was carried out.

Transgas have serviced my boiler for the last couple of years and have completed a couple of small plumbing jobs (radiator change, toilet flush fix) for me.
Each time I have found it easy to make an appointment and when I have needed it, it has been a next day appointment.
All engineers I have met have appeared professional and knowledgeable and have had a positive attitude (unlike many trades I have found recently).
I highly recommend them to all.

Since buying our new home in Walton on Thames we have had Transgas carry out a number of jobs. Initially, Transgas serviced our boiler but we were so happy with the service we now use them for all our heating and plumbing needs.

They have since fitted a new bathroom suite including a tank and high-performance pump for the shower. They have upgraded the thermostatic valves to the heating system, moved and fitted new radiators and installed all the plumbing and gas work for our kitchen refurbishment.

We have been very happy with the quality of the advice, workmanship and politeness of the staff when carrying out the works. I would have no hesitation about recommending Transgas to friends, family, and anyone who wants a job done well at a fair price.

Transgas Services is excellent. On this occasion John's visit was made within a couple of hours of being called and he fixed my elderly mother's boiler right away. Great service given this was on one of the coldest days of the year. We have used John and Transgas Services for many years now and have never failed to be impressed by their customer service, reasonable prices and technical expertise.

Our family bathroom radiator stopped working in the coldest days of the year. Transgas were quick to come and diagnose - it was the valves. They ordered the parts and got back in touch the following day to come and do the work. The radiator is now working again and I can once again feel a bit like a Super Dad. All went very smoothly, the engineer was tidy and a pleasure to have around. I could even get on with my work rather than having to idle around just in case they needed some help.

Shower Removal & Washing Machine Plumbing work, Walton.

I recently enlisted the services of Transgas to help me with some alterations to my downstairs cloakroom. The previous owner had a shower installed on the ground floor which was not only now dated but not very practical for our own needs.

We decided we would remove the shower and move our washing machine turning the cloakroom into a downstairs toilet come utility room, gaining back valuable space when we have our kitchen redesigned. Following a visit from John at Transgas he quickly came up with a solution that meant minimal disruption and we were pleased it wouldn’t require any major works.

The work was booked in promptly and the booking system kept me updated of my appointment. On the day the Transgas representative was friendly, tidy and very polite. The work was done quickly and was left exactly as I asked ready for repairing the floor and tiling work.

I have used Transgas several times now since starting the renovations on my home and I have always been more than happy with the results. It’s reassuring to have a heating and plumbing company I can trust to help me with my renovations as I turn my house into a home. A Highly recommended company to deal with.
