Travelous has taken me and my family & friends to Egypt, Jordan and most recently in Nov of this year to Israel. If I could sum up the benefit, it simply comes down to customer service. Travelous was with us even while we on the trip. If we had an issue they responded to an email within hours. That security cannot be undervalued. The accommodations, travel in country and guides exceeded our expectations. We will travel with Travelous again in 2023 and recommend them without reservation.

I loved Eman. She was so much fun to be around. And Ezz our driver was great too. Seeing the pyramids was a once in a life time experience.

Outstanding service from the the entire team . Well organized and professional and worth the extra money we spent to have first class service. As a former businessman, this company exceeded our expectations. The guides , drivers and administrators had everything handled so we could really enjoy our trip.

Travelous provided us with the trip of a lifetime! When visiting Egypt with our 86 year old parents, the guides were patient, kind, and their knowledge was off the charts! Eman, Lammy, and Ezz are 5 star staff members for Travelous who treated our family like they were part of their own family. The monuments were breath taking but it was the passion of these Travelous employees that made our trip so meaningful. The memories we made with these people will last a lifetime and we are so grateful to have met them.

Everything about our trip to Egypt was fantastic. Guides, drivers and facilitators were top notch. We saw everything we requested and more. Scheduling was impeccable. I recommend Travelous without any reservations.

We purchased the insurance on our trip to Egypt. The travelers insurance was excellent it’s cost-effective and had a great value. The company was responsive and answered all of our questions. The policy was very good. We will definitely be purchasing again on the next trip

Our experience was made outstanding due to the efforts and Hardwork of our guide Bassem and our concierge Sam. Not to mention the excellent skills of our driver. The Jordan guide was good too. But Bassem knowledge and Sam’s care were superb.

Made the travel experience so easy and fun. Took all of the guessing, stress, and wait time out of the trip and thus, we were able to see 4x more! Super friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff; we will honestly miss our representatives, guides, and drivers. Impossible to imagine the trip without Travelous… can’t wait for our next one.

Overall a great trip to Turkey. Hotel choices were good; our guide was very knowledgeable and the itinerary was perfect. There were a few glitches along the way, but overall I'd give it 4 stars out of 5.

What a great experience! From the moment we got off the airplane, the team took care of everything and made sure we enjoyed every minute. Our guide, Lamey, was knowledgeable about the history and taught us a lot about Egyptian culture, he was also a lot of fun to spend time with. Samer made sure we were taken care of and Ezz was an excellent driver. This was a first-class operation and truly a special visit to see the pyramids and explore Cairo.

We have used agencies that provided private travel but Travelous exceeded our previous trips. The ground team was terrific, checking in to be sure we had up to date contact information at all times. The guides and drivers were great and on time! A great experience, we will use them again!

The tour structure and local guides were great, the hotels not bad but not at the same level.

This is our second trip with Travelous and, once again, everything was terrific. Croatia is such a beautiful country, and the itinerary that was put together for us gave us the ability to see most of the coastal area, while getting some of the history on the way. All hotels and transports were impeccable. We would choose Travelous 100 times over.

Best vacation I've ever had. Everything went flawlessly. Travelous truly made this a vacation that I will never forget - from sunset camel rides to a private dinner cruise on the Nile -- it was absolutely superb and I can't say enough great things about it. Even from the airport reps that walked us through the entire airport, got us to cut long lines, it was a 5 star experience.

From my first conversation with Johanna, I knew if I were to use a travel agent, she would be the one. She immediately picked up on our wants and needs for a Spain Basque Country trip.
Our itinerary was perfect and the choice of guides excellent.
Having the Oasis Travel Platform was something I cannot imagine traveling with out. Oasis not only made it easy to follow our itinerary but also included our travel documents and tickets.
Unfortunately, I am unable to give 5 stars as there were snafus with the drivers that were scheduled. Upon our return monetary adjustments were made but that cannot make up for a day lost in Switzerland due to not having a driver when it was most needed after a full day of riding on trains.
When and if we do more international travel Johanna will be my go-to person.

My niece and I took a 10-day trip with Travelous July 2 - 12, 2022 (low season) to Egypt and Jordan and it was an amazing adventure! I wanted to knock something off my bucket list and Chris Bazos made it happen with little notice. We were two women traveling alone who had never been to the area and don't speak the language, and never once did we feel unsafe. Chris' team of professionals made us feel secure, but not smothered.

We arrived to Cairo on July 2 and were greeted by Ayman Rashad. He is very professional and kind and we saw him not only at each trip through the airport, but he also took us on our camel ride and out to New Giza for dinner. We learned a lot about Egyptian people and The Feast of the Sacrifice, which was going on while we were there. He couldn't not have done anything more to make us feel safe and welcome.

Our guide for Cairo was Samah Sayed. She is a modern Egyptian woman who is not only brilliant, but kind and funny. She studied Egyptology and knows so much about what we were seeing. She led us through the Pyramids at Giza, Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur. She also helped us navigate what we were seeing at the vast Egyptian Museum and Civilization Museum. You could spend years in there, but she made sure that we saw the most important pieces while timing our visit to avoid the crowds. Samah was also very kind and concerned about our well-being. My niece needed something to settle her stomach, so she went to the store for us and followed up each day (even when we were in Luxor) to make sure she was feeling better. She was an amazing historical and cultural guide. I plan to come back when the new museum opens and will ask for her to be our guide.

We then went to Luxor where we were led seamlessly through the airport by Hamada Mohamed. Our guide, Tarik Aly Omran is very experienced as a guide in the area and was able to ensure we saw the most important things and to put these treasures into context. We went to the New Kingdom sites of The Valley of the King and Valley of the Queen and the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor. These sites are simply jaw dropping! Tarik was very kind to us, offering to help if we needed anything at all. Luxor is a much smaller town with a lot of farming. It was a nice break from Cairo.

We then flew to Amman Jordan where we were met by another excellent airport representative, Nadeer Ameereh. We spent the next three days with our guide, Issam Afaneh, and our driver, Mohammed. Issam and Mohammed were wonderful ambassadors for Jordan and their culture. We had a million laughs while traveling with them.

We ate knafeh in the old part of Amman and got a driving tour of modern section with their multi-million-dollar homes. The next day we went to Jeresh to see the Roman ruins and to Mt. Nebo to see where Moses saw the promised land. Issam was very knowledgeable about these sites and ensured we understood the cultural and historical significance of what we were seeing. We then went to Petra where he suggested and early start to avoid the worst of the heat and crowds. We were able to enjoy this majestic place with few other people.

We then took a 4x4 ride into the desert and stayed the night in a luxury tent/dome in Wadi Rum. It was an amazing experience to sit in bed and watch the camels walk past into the desert. We were taken to the Dead Sea where we relaxed, got a massage and took a dip into the Dead Sea along with a mud mask. We then said goodbye to our adventure and flew home. It was simply amazing experience! I could not recommend Travelous and the wonderful guides enough!

The best way I can describe this trip is perfection. I had reached out to Chris at Travelous and another unmentioned tour company I have used in the past as I was planning a trip to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. Chris responded immediately and we had a great talk discussing all my dreams for my adventure. Less than 24 hours later I had an email with the most detailed itinerary I have ever seen, beautifully laid out, and included the most amazing hotels, restaurants, and activities beyond anything I could have ever found on my own. The activities he found for us were all tailored to my adventurous style that he got from our initial conversation. I am still in awe of how detailed everything was and how it translated straight to my trip.
Chris has personally met and worked with every guide and rep as well as stayed at every hotel and done every activity prior to letting anyone go on a tour with them. It showed and everyone on tour spoke so highly of Chris.
Chris got me the best airport rep in Egypt, Samer, thank you for being there for us throughout Cairo, from moving our bags, ensuring our private van was always waiting for us, to handling checking us into every hotel and making sure we safely got through security back on flights!!! You were the BEST ever. Wish we could have brought you home. Eman, one of the two best personal Egyptologist for all your passion about every detail of Cairo from reading us hieroglyphics, to guiding us with Samer through the Bazaars and Coptic Cairo to getting someone to unlock the 6th century Synagogue that no one gets to see. You went above and beyond with all your passion. P.S. I did sneak one video of you at the Cairo Museum just to catch you roaring all the details with that Eman style bringing everything to life. Thank you Eman :-)

Lamey our Egyptologist in Luxor and down to Aswan, you are now a friend for life. I can not thank you enough for EVERY minute. You brought every temple and tomb to life as you read the walls and taught me to read pharaoh's names. Not to mention you went out of your way to make every one of my crazy Egypt dreams come true no matter how much I pushed for more experiences, you made it happen. Hopefully I will get to tour you around LA one day. Our pictures together will always by the most epic. By the way, our driver Mufassa was there all the way too and couldn't be nicer and more professional. He even pushed my Aunt Lynn around when her legs started giving out. Did I mention we told Chris four days into our tour that my aunt was having trouble seeing all the sites. They had a wheelchair for us waiting the next morning. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You treated us like family the whole way.

I will stop here and will just say that Sam and Jouseph in Jordan were just as good and everyone representing Travelous was beyond professional and extremely educated and there in every way for every need we had. Not to mention flexible as we did ask to change a few things around. We finished our Travelous part of our trip with them dropping us off at our hotel in Jerusalem.

I want everyone reading this to know that you are in the best hands possible when traveling with Travelous. Don't even think about using another company. It won't be anything near as complate and amazing. As soon as you see his custom itinerary you will know what I mean.

We traveled as a family of four to Egypt with Travelous and would travel with them again for any future trip! Chris made our trip to Egypt easy to plan and execute from the very first conversation to the pre-trip call and the well-organized app-based itinerary that provided us with all of the information we needed in advance and along the way. A last minute personal conflict made it such that my husband had to meet up with us towards the end of our trip. Chris quickly made all of the necessary adjustments, and our trip was able to continue flawlessly. We always felt that we were in amazing hands. We have traveled a lot, and I can say that all of our guides, drivers, and airport reps on this trip were of the highest quality we have experienced. The guides were extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter, the airport reps were all highly professional and communicative, checking in with us and supporting us throughout our trip, and the drivers were excellent. From the moment we arrived in Egypt, we were able to relax and soak up all of the amazing experiences because every detail had been taken care of for us. The itinerary was well-planned such that we were able to see/do everything we wanted (and more!) while balancing some time for relaxation. We loved all of the incredible local meals and experiences Travelous was able to provide as well. Do not hesitate to book with Travelous. They are top-notch!

Traveling out of the country can be trying at best. Chris made our trip to Egypt a dream come true. There were 4 of us and the old saying you can’t please all the people all the time, didn’t apply here. Our guides, drivers our airport reps, and itinerary were second to none. When planning our trip Chris made sure that what we wanted to see and do was not only safe but first class all the way. From hotel choices and meals everything was truly perfect. I’ve travelled quite a bit and honestly from now on it’s Travelous and Chris all the way. If you want a worry free trip these are the people.
