Our trip to Egypt was outstanding in every respect.The service provided from start to finish was flawless and the guides and associated personnel were very friendly and knowledgeable. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that Chris knows Egypt.

Our trip to Egypt and Jordan was wonderful! The hotels were super, the food was wonderful and the sites were incredible, but what made the trip was Travelous’ guides. Samah Sayed in Cairo was incredibly knowledgeable regarding ancient history but also represents modern Egypt. We loved our time with her! Ahmed Darwish in Luxor/Aswan and Michael Safar in Jordan had us laughing while we were learning. With each guide, we felt like we were visiting a good friend who happens to be a brilliant historian /Egyptologist /hieroglyphics expert/ etc.
The airport representatives handled all of the details - visas, travel arrangements, changing schedules, etc. - perfectly. Ayman Rashad in Cairo is the absolute best of the best. He makes a hard job look easy and is a consummate professional while also being incredibly personable.
We cannot say enough good things about our trip to Egypt and Jordan and Chris Bezos / Travelous. We will definitely travel with Travelous again and highly recommend them!

We spent two weeks exploring Egypt and Jordan with Chris as our travel agent. We are retired and have had the opportunity to travel extensively, and we both agree that Travelous is number one. Planning included a range of experiences within a very reasonable budget, and the whole trip went perfectly. All our airport representatives, guides, and drivers were outstanding, both friendly and professional, and made our trip very special. I particularly want to note where everyone went above board to meet our needs. My husband had recently been diagnosed with a neuro-muscular disease, and we decided to take a wheelchair for ease and safety. Chris changed our accommodations to accessible where possible and alerted the local agents as well as the airlines to this need. Everyone was very accommodating, pushing his wheelchair over rough terrain, helping him in and out of the sightseeing vans, ensuring that he was comfortable during activities, even moving him and his wheelchair in golf carts so as not to miss anything. Overall, it was a wonderful trip, and we highly recommend Chris and Travelous.

It was a fantastic trip. It was a trip filled with sights with not a lot of down time. The guides, drivers and airport reps made traveling much easier than it could have been. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

From the moment we stepped off the plane in Dubai, until we said our goodbyes in Cairo 19 days later, this trip was absolute perfection! The personal attention and consideration that went into planning our trip insured we had the experience we were looking for exploring the ancient civilization of Egypt. Planning is one thing…. Execution is another! The expertise of our local guides, exceptional service and hospitality from our destination host, and of course, the driver who brought it all together, was a world class experience. Travelous will be our number one choice for future adventures!

The attention to detail in planning our visit was amazing. But what really made our trip fantastic were the people on the ground at each step of our trip. The drivers, guides and representatives were consummate professionals. They made the trip seamless, taking care of everything so we only had to enjoy the trip. Our 10 day trip to Egypt with Travelous fully met all of our expectations. From the time we stepped off the plane in Cairo and were met by Ayman, our exceptional Cairo representative, we were patiently and expertly guided throughout our itinerary. Samah, our guide in Cairo, shared so much more than just the history. She gave us a glimpse of life in Cairo and introduced us to wonderful local foods. The Farrah cruise on the Nile was great. Lots of relaxing on the sun deck between visiting the amazing monuments ashore. Excellent service from start to finish from representatives to guides to drivers. Highly recommend leaving the planning to Chris Bazos and Travelous!

The best part of using Travelous for our recent trip to Egypt is the detailed planning. There is no need to worry about travel details because everything is well thought out from the itinerary to moving through the airports to getting from place to place. I can't say enough about the knowledge of our guides for the daily site visits. The history came alive with the facts and stories our guides relayed to us throughout the trip. The guides displayed enthusiasm and layers of knowledge about Egypt history as well as patience to answer all of our questions. In Cairo we enjoyed getting to know our guide, Samah, as she shared information about life in Egypt. The airport representatives and drivers were fantastic. We really enjoyed our part of the journey on a Nile River cruise. If you choose to go to Abu Simbel please note that it is a very long day but the temple is amazing. We also thought the price of the trip was reasonable.

We had an excellent quick stay in Istanbul with two full days of sightseeing thanks to our amazing guide Sami. He knew the city incredibly well and the history of his homeland. He did not hesitate when we asked to adjust our schedule to see different parts of the city. The trip would not have been quite so special without his help.

Travelous made our trip unforgettable! Even when our airline caused us to miss a connection delivering us a day late to Cairo, Travelous was able to adjust our itinerary so that our family could still see the most important sites. And they scheduled our whole trip at the last minute when we decided to go just three weeks ahead of our departure date. The airport facilitator met us as we got off the plane and arranged our visas. Our guide was charming and extremely knowledgable and she was enthusiastic about making sure we got all the information about each site. And our driver had the patience of a saint dealing with Cairo traffic.
I cannot say enough positive things about our trip in the hands of Travelous. I know this is such a glowing review that you may think I am related to someone in the company. No, I found them on line and was impressed after my conversation with the owner, Chris Bazos.

Travelous was absolutely exceptional in every manner. Chris who arranged the 10 day trip, our airport representative Hesham, Luxor and aswan representatives and most importantly Ahmed (Lamey) were fantastic. Ahmed was with us the entire trip, always had a smile and upbeat personality, made our teenage daughters laugh and is a true professional. He’s such a great guy, as is everyone I mentioned. True professionals. One of the great experiences we had was a home cooked meal in Aswan at the house of a local pharmacist and his family. The food was incredible and the family a complete joy. Another was enjoying Turkish coffee with 6 spices made by an older gentleman on the side of the nile in Aswan in a remote hut like setting. It was super cool and tranquil.

We had a wonderful trip to Egypt. Each day was jampacked with sightseeing tours, led by a very knowledgeable tour guides. We were very well taken care of, and our tour guides were very attentive. My only complaint is that we had very little interaction with Egyptians other than our tour guides. I would have liked to have a little more of a cultural experience and gotten to speak and interact with locals.

Our guides were exceptional. Hotels were great. Cruise ship was mediocre.

Our trip to Egypt was organized perfectly. Not a single issue with itineraries or guides.

The best part of this company is the quality of guides and representatives they have on the ground in Egypt. We loved every guide and felt so taken care of. The itinerary was a good overview for our first trip to Egypt. There is room for improvement with the pre trip communication. Most of it felt last minute and rushed for a trip we booked over a year in advance. As veteran trip planners, we wanted to see as much as possible and not waste time. I feel like I should have been more forceful about this pre-trip, as we ended up having to update things as we went and there was some needless downtime.

What an amazing trip to Egypt with Travelous. They took any stress and guess work away so we could focus on our experience. The guides Samah Sayed and Atef Fadl we’re amazing and a wonderful source of knowledge. The airport representatives Hesham Mohamed and Hamadon Sabry along with the drivers were awesome.
