I visited the Sunbury-On-Thames Branch, I was unsure what I required for the Job I needed to carry out.
As soon as we walked in to the yard we were greeted by Stuart who immediately asked us if he could help us. He was so knowledgeable and was amazing help. He told us exactly what materials we needed in what size, and even went in to reception and reeled off the list to them so we didn't have to write anything down or remember anything. He made it look so easy. The job I needed to do is now finished and all of the material purchased was spot on. We even went back for some more materials for another job and headed straight for Stuart again. I can highly recommend them for any timber needs - if your unsure speak to Stuart he will sort you out.

Tried to hire a wood chipper. No response despite several online orders. Tried ringing multiple times and no one ever picks up the phone. Complete waste of time.

Placed an order by phone on 27Jan26 and all went well, very helpful person at the Exeter Store. I didn't get an order confirmation by email but was not overly concerned.
Order delivered when planned on 13Feb26. All good but did not get an invoice.
18Feb26 I had still not received an invoice so followed up with the Exeter Store. The person answering the phone could not deal with this and had to pass my request to someone else. I received an email with a screen shot of my order/'invoice' from there system. I said this was not sufficient and urgently needed a formal invoice. I was told they had to put that request to head office and it 'usually takes a few days'. I rang head office direct to see if I could get things speeded up as I now needed the invoice urgently. Quite unhelpful... I was told they would request that this was urgent and hopefully that would help speed it up. Clearly not as we are now on the 27Feb26 and I still have no invoice.
Travis Perkins, it is not Rocket Science giving a customer an invoice and is pretty much standard practice with any other business I have dealt with. I cannot remember ever having to wait this long to get an invoice when I have requested one.
Travis Perkins, GET THIS SORTED as I needed it urgently about 10 days ago!

Collection of hired goods arranged for Thursday, I called them around 3pm to find out what time they were coming, they said "we're coming tomorrow now".
I've finished the project, have nobody left here and nowhere safe to leave the equipment.
All they said was "it's the customers responsibility". Customer service is a joke.

Good experience with the Tewkesbury depot, initially order via web but realised I'd got my quantities wrong so phoned the depot direct to add some more to the order which they happily and helpfully did.

Jeremy delivered today, extremely helpful, dropping the pallet as close to the house as possible.

A couple of the plaster board sheets were damaged but they'd spotted that in the depot and added a couple extra to the delivery order at no cost to make sure I had enough.

Jeremy the delivery driver was great, arrived on time, very polite, helped me with the delivery into my garage. As well as this all the staff at the Tewkesbury branch are super helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the incredible yard staff at Travis Perkins in Didcot. Going completely above and beyond to help me a few weeks ago.

Customer service like that is rare these days. The team in the yard are a real credit to the branch and to Travis Perkins as a whole.

Travis Perkins in Tewkesbury/Mitton Gloucestershire is a well run business. We have used them twice now for delivery services and have found them to be very reliable and professional. Great community business.

Big shout out to Joe and the excellent team at Bromyard. Joe personally handles my account and although only a young gen-z, is an absolute asset to the branch, always super helpful and has learnt the importance of good communication with his customers, frequently ringing to make sure Im happy with my orders and deliveries. He goes above and beyond to find solutions for my renovation.

Brilliant all round service. Needed a last minute change to my order which proved to be no problem and was made effortlessly over the phone.
Mack, the driver from Plymouth was so polite and helpful. He could not be more helpful, carrying my plasterboard and flooring into the house.
This was my first time of using Travis Perkins and they will be top of my list for all future building materials!

At the age of 82 I have been doing DIY of various kinds for more than 60 years. Today I went to the Camberley shop to buy some plywood and had this conversation, showing the dimensions, ‘Can you do this size of plywood?’. ‘No’. ‘Can you do a bigger size?’ ‘Yes’. ‘Can you cut it so I can get it in the car’. ‘No.’

Jez (Tewkesbury branch) who delivered our loam and gravel did amazing diving getting into our tight driveway without damaging the verge and brilliant control of the hoist, avoiding our overhead cables. Very cheerful even when he had to return to swap over one of the bags.

I use Travis Perkins in Eastleigh, I would like to say thank you to Claire, she is always so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. As a older lady myself sometimes this environment can be a bit overwhelming not with Claire she makes you feel at ease and not afraid to ask for help. Keep being you Claire

I have been using Travis Perkins at Ninian Way Tamworth for a few years now. I can say that all the staff there are more than helpful friendly and nothing too much trouble for them.
My visit today was another success thanks to the Sales assistant Wilf for sorting my order and delivery.

Martin and the team (Staines branch) offer an excellent service and pricing.
I have even seen Martin cleaning the yard (a good manager). Everyone is polite, friendly and welcoming and I always leave with a smile.
In today's market, we are having to do jobs cheaper, Martin's prices and services allow us to achieve the best we can

Writing to describe absolutely appalling sales experience with Travis Perkins. I don't normally write to complain in fact its the first one I've written ever. I recently tried to purchase a kitchen listed on their website including a Tall larder cabinet, Belfast sink unit, decor panels and end panels for my utility room. A day after placing the order Travis Perkins tell me that they cannot fulfill the order as the product has been discontinued and is no longer for sale. They have then told me that I will have to wait up to 5 working days to get a refund for the money I've paid for kitchen units they listed in error on their website. Absolutely appalling customer service as I have to wait up to 5 working days to get the money back for a product they were never going to be able to sell to me. No options to speed up refund, no consideration of the customer. If this is the quality of this company's customer service then if you're reading this do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.
