Satin hardwax oil and solvent
As part of my hallway refurbishment, I purchased the hardwax oil to refinish finish the edges of four Deanta prefinished oak doors I fitted.
I also used it on 10 meters of new solid oak skirtings, a windowsill, and small shelf that I covered with some oak veneer. Easy to apply and the finish matched well.
There was a short piece of horizontal darker hardwood banister handrail that had been painted over! So that was stripped that and refinished as well.
I used less than half a 0.5 litre tin for the 3 coats on everything, so it goes along way.
I prefer a satin finish generally as they are softer & more tolerant of any imperfections in old or uneven surfaces.

Matt Hardwax Oil
My door supplier recommended Osmo or Treatex. Couldn't obtain matt Osmo from my usual suppliers so went online direct to Treatex. Matt oil delivered direct to my door promptly enabling me to finish project, with an excellent finish. Very Pleased.

Tried this product after a friend used it on her hardwood floor I tried it on mine decided to purchase . The only thing I would say is the amount of packaging that was used was far too much and the bottle was dented anyway .
