Hard to beat Sunday roast

Had an outstanding Sunday roast in the Ramsbottom restaurant today. Considering this isn’t isnt their usual menu, it’s a great addition. Some real thought and consideration has gone into this and you definitely won’t come away feeling hungry. I thought I made a good red cabbage, but this might be a close second 🤪love that the meat changes on a weekly basis too. The staff were all very attentive and nice .

Overpriced and awful food.

We visited Tre Ciccio last night for the first time (and the last). Overall the service was good but the food was terrible. The bruschetta bread was rock hard to the point we couldn’t even cut it so we just ate a couple of the prawns that came with it. We both had a chicken dish for the main but it was so dry. It was inedible. I asked the waitress for some mayo or salad cream but they didn’t have anything which was strange. We thought we would share the cheesecake for desert but it was so heavy and tasteless. Then the bill came! I was shocked. £111! A large glass of wine was nearly £12! Overpriced and awful food. Wouldn’t be going back again.

Menu Not As Advertised

A very disappointing Saturday evening visit, Having been impressed on a previous visit, we chose the restaurant for a family birthday celebration. Upon arrival, we thought we had been given the wrong menu as it was much reduced from our previous visit and included none of the pasta and other options listed on the website. It compromised just a handful of pizzas and some "Alpine" options. We were also told that despite the menu saying "ask about our specials," none were actually available.
To top things off, the two members of our party that went for the Alpine options were presented with Iaughably small "tapas style" portion sizes whilst those that went for pizza found their pizzas to be covered in a thick tomato base sauce and a couple of small lumps of mozzarella. Suffice to say we will not be returning.

Food is so average and highly priced

Food is so average and highly priced! No taste, starter scallops to start, no taste whatsoever and scallops were overcooked, had the chicken and pancetta risotto, was awful! Chicken was so dry and the risotto was watery and made me feel sick! Rude and can’t be arsed staff. Avoid!

Birthday Party

I had my birthday party there with 45 guests. The food was excellent and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Rabecca was amazing and went through everything with me beforehand even rearranged tables to suit.

Great food at a great price

I can honestly say although eating Italian is not my first choice of restaurants, this small, intimate restaurant is a lovely place to dine.
The staff are very attentive and friendly; happy, smiling staff make a huge difference to one's experience....and, not forgetting the food, which is very tasty indeed, and portion sizes more than enough!
Would definitely recommend 👌

Of our 5 meals we sent 2 back

Of our 5 meals we sent 2 back. Visited on Christmas Eve and ordered a meat calzone and a mushroom calzone and 3 other meals. The meat one came with a large amount of pizza dough and 3 slices of salami, none of the other ingredients called out on the menu were there. The mushroom calzone was the same, 3 mushrooms in thick dough, no other of the ingredients. We sent them back and waited 10 minutes for replacement meals. Charged full price with a service charge and a request for a tip. The manager said that we should pay for what we had eaten. Poor food and service. Won’t be visiting again.

Pretty awful service!

Pretty awful service. Just downright rude. In this day and age with the competition with other restaurants being so high, these guys need to be careful. I've eaten in all sorts of places over the years and these guys are up there with some of the rudest. The waitress was literally pulling the most miserable face at us with every passing exchange. It was my partner's birthday, we have two kids and rarely get a chance to go out. The chicken was dry as a bone, not nice. Pizza sloppy. Food not being great isn't the issue though, it was the awful and rude staff. Avoid!

Great food and reasonably priced.

We visited for the first time in a couple of years last weekend and we weren’t disappointed.

We found the staff to be attentive and the food was lovely. Reasonably priced, good quality and unexpectedly large portion sizes.

Will definitely be making another visit in the near future.

Discrimination and insulting attitude towards customers

I hardly ever leave negative reviews, but I felt this shocking experience tonight needs to be told. I am a local business owner in Altrincham, visited this restaurant many times before. I booked a table for two over one month in advance for a special meal to impress someone who I do business with. When I came to the restaurant I was given a table which was dark, right by a busy pathway. I asked for a table on their terrace where they had several empty tables. The manager refused stating they were fully booked . I pointed out that I booked a long time ago to make sure we had a nice table and asked if they could change my table.

I explained that it was really important for me to sit at the terrace and not in the dark spot which they offered. However, they gave us no choice and we sat there. My chair was repeatedly pushed and knocked by passing waiters. I saw that two people finished their meal and left the terrace. I asked a waiter if we could now be moved and get the table on the terrace and pointed out that it had become available. The manager then came to our table and told me to stop asking for a table on the terrace. She then said I had to accept the table where I was sat or leave. The manager was speaking to me in such a condescending way, it made me feel so unwelcome and insulted.

The lady who I invited for a meal, was also shocked by the way we were treated.
We decided not to order food and leave as the attitude from the staff was extremely unfriendly . We told the staff we were leaving but we were still finishing our drinks. Whilst we were still at our table finishing our drinks, the manager came up again and said that we needed to hurry up and leave, as they needed the table.

The manager also asked if we understood English, which was also incredibly insulting and discriminatory. I was speaking to my companion in my native language which is not English. I’ve lived in England for over 20 years, I am a qualified English solicitor and consider such a question rude.

I told the manager that the customer service was awful and they should learn how to speak to customers . The manager replied that I should speak English. I was shocked. Not only we were not given the service, we were also patronised over which language to use whilst talking to each other.

This business have definitely lost me as a customer. Their staff seriously need urgent customer care lessons before they lose all their customers.

If I were the owner of the restaurant I’d be seriously concerned. I am a business owner myself and if one of my members of staff was speaking to clients like that I’d be taking serious measures.

In the end we went to Jardim Rodizio across the road and had a fantastic meal there with friendly service and amazing atmosphere.

Pizza completely burned

First I had to cut the pizza myself, total mess. Then I found out the bottom and the crust of my pizza were completely burned. NOT healthy at all and couldn't eat it. Wasted my money, not ordering at Tre Ciccio Ramsbottom again.

Rude Manager / Very Poor Service

We pre-booked a table a few weeks ago for a Friday night meal, having been before we were really looking forward to it. We arrived only to be pointed, not shown, to our un-set table which was outside in the pouring rain. I understand that all tables are to be outside at the minute but this one wasn't like any of the others within the restaurant with nice coverage and heaters. It was a bare table open to all the elements, soaking wet. It was so bad in-fact that the waitress didn't even want to take us to it hence the pointing.

We asked to have a different table elsewhere as we had come especially for this meal, the managers useless answer was simply "It's raining, what do you want me to do?". Giving us no option but to leave. Surely this table should only have been made available for walk-ins and not bookings? Regardless, a real shame, wont be returning unless we hear it's changed its ways.

Genuinely the most delicious food I’ve…

Genuinely the most delicious food I’ve had! Just visited with my parents, partner and daughter. We each had a different main and dessert. Every single one of us absolutely loved it. Our host Luiggi was a larger than life, fun and genuinely warm and friendly gent who made us feel relaxed and welcome and like we were the most important guests and the restaurant itself is beautiful but trust me, the food is to die for. I can’t wait to go back! Well worth the money.
