Just had my drive tarmacked by Trent Valley edged with Paving Bricks , it looks really smart. great job! Can't wait for all my family and friends to see it.

The owner of the company, Francie, did my driveway but it's all broken down and he won't answer my calls

Avoid this company. They do not provide invoices or guarantees for their work. They do not resolve any issues after the work is completed and choose to ignore you and even in my case block you from contacting them. Save your time and money and go for a reputable business.

Excellent service. Very pleased with extension to existing block paved driveway. Turned up on time, took all the mess away and on completion of job cleaned up and by left no mess. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

From the very start, we were given a very good quote & they started the next day. They have completed the work in four days & exceeded our expectations. They are honest workers that work very hard. Polite & conscientious, clearing up, to the point of sweeping the pavement after work each day. Tom, the gaffer, came every day to check that we were happy with the work. I would not hesitate to recommend the team of Tom, Nicholas, George & John to you.

Right from the beginning Tom provided all the confidence we needed.
Due to the lay of the land in and around our property there were quite a few little changes to the original plan that I threw at Tom, he was not fazed at all by my requests and many questions. He passed this information to his team and they carried on without hesitation.

His team were all very hard working, knew exactly what they were doing, completing the job to an extremely high standard of workmanship. They were all courteous, polite and friendly, Special thanks must also go to Nicholas, who kept me informed at all times on the progress of work and changes, the man is a star and an asset to the company.
I would definitely recommend Trent Valley Paving to anyone.

Workmanship excellent; administration/communication, etc. poor. Cannot fault workmanship, I repeat, excellent and to a very high standard.
However they left me for about a week between installing blockwork and then the tarmac although they had stated the tarmac would be in a couple of days.
My main grievance is that having paid promptly (being told this was necessary) and, despite repeated requests, I have not been issued with a receipt but, more importantly, neither have I been given their 5-year guarantee which I feel is necessary as I have no "come-back" whatsoever.

We recently decided to give our driveway a new life. We got quotes from multiple companies but ultimately made the decision to go ahead with Tom and his team at Trentvalley Paving LTD who we found through our local community magazine. This decision was largely due to the good reviews and quality of previous work which we saw in his website. The work began the following day as the weather was ideal. Tom arrived with his workman Nicholas, George and John, and started immediately wasting no time. They worked both efficiently and effectively throughout the day and were happy to answer any questions or queries along the way. They removed the original hard concrete, placed the outer bricks and drains as well as redoing the manhole covers all within a day and then followed up with the layer of hardcore and the base tarmac the following day. After a spell of rain had dried up, the team that applied the layer of resin arrived and were also very efficient and completed the job to a very high standard. We as a family are very particular in the minor details and Tom did not hesitate to listen us to make us satisfied. For example prior to the resin we noticed that there was the odd brick with a crack or chip in it, they happily accommodated our request and replaced as asked. Furthermore, Tom himself was very present as he would tend to check up on the sites regularly to ensure the quality is to standard and his communication was superb and made us feel reassured at all times. Tom was available on WhatsApp throughout.
We noticed there were some negative reviews regarding their parking and them taking over the road, we live on a busy road and have had no such problems whatsoever. No issues from the neighbourhood regarding parking.

We would highly recommend using Trentvalley Paving LTD as we are very happy with the job they did for us. Keep up your good work Tom and his team 👍

I've recently had my drive and path around my property replaced with a tarmac surface by Trent valley paving ltd , we found there workmanship very good and professional , all the workman were very understanding towards the neighbours. George who did alot of the work was a very friendly and helpful chap and worked extreamly hard , would dfettinetly recomend them.

Hard to find a positive review about these people. Parking over driveways, parking on footpaths. Arguing with my neighbours. No customer service. Swearing in front of children. Average workmanship. My wife was too scared of them to ask them to move their massive truck from in front of the driveway so she could do the school run. I wouldn't touch these people if I was you

I've had many experiences of domestic contractors and have to say Trent Valley are the worst. They take over the street (don't get me wrong, I know they have to park which is absolutely fine) but they park over neighbours driveways, block gates and access, double park so neither fire engines or ambulances can get down the road for emergencies. However my biggest gripe is the language. This is a street full of young families and children. I find med screaming profanities ('F' this, you w*nk*r) absolutely and completely unacceptable and no one working today seemed to a) care or b) do anything about it. Workmanship =average. Conduct = disgraceful. No regard for anyone or anything. Use at your peril

Trent Valley Paving took only 2 days to replace 50m2 of old paving with delightful sandstone random size slabs. This included digging,installing new sub base, concrete bed and paving. Also refurbished about 100m2 existing block paving.
The lads were very efficient, friendly and professional. I would stro gly recommend this company

I contacted Trent Valley Paving Ltd to ask them for a quote. They agreed a time & date with me when to come. Waited in but no show!!! I will not be dealing with them now or in the future. Very unprofessional. I will go elsewhere to a company who are reliable!!

I posted a job on Quotemyjob and Trent Valley paving contacted me 3 or 4 times the next day but unfortunately we were out and did not answer. They rang again the next day (I answered this time) and asked for a quote, which they said they would come and do on the Monday at noon. They didn't show up at noon so I rang them at 2. The person answering the phone said he would ring back with an update. I am still waiting. By some of the previous reviews it looked like I dodged a bullet anyway, so won't be bothering them again

Very pleased with the driveway work which we have completed by Trent valley paving .
The team worked hard and started job and completed in time quoted and stayed on the job until finished . Customer service was excellent..
They were very polite and kept informed all the time . I would definitely recommend them .

Absolutely fantastic job done,couldn’t do enough for us, cleaned up after themselves, made sure everything was spot on .

Great work by Frank and his team they worked tirelessly and did a fantastic job putting us a new driveway in.
I would recommend using this company if you are considering a new drive and would gladly use their services again.
