Arturo organised a trip to Peru and Bolivia for us. Arturo is extremely knowledgeable and knows the country thoroughly. He advised us correctly and the trip was perfect. We did a lot in 20 days and did not have any issues with internal transport both public and private.
The Hotels were good except for a couple which I have made him aware of.
Highly recommend that you use Tribes for your next holidays.

Arturo did a great job of organising our trip within our timescales and affordability. We genuinely enjoyed every day and saw so much wildlife, made possible by amazing guides and a brilliant itinerary. The accommodation booked for us was all lovely with wonderful food. We started in Quito, Ecuador, for 2 nights, where we enjoyed learning about the culture and history of this amazing city. Our 4 night cruise on the Galapagos exceeded our expectations and was definitely a once in a life time experience. Costa Rica was also wonderful with again lots if incredible wildlife. Alex was really knowledgeable and listened to our needs regarding our trip to Costa Rica. The organisation was great- we travelled around and every pick up was on time or early with friendly knowledgeable drivers. One excursion was changed because of the weather but we were told in advance and given options. The hotels varied but were absolutely as expected, clean and the staff were all wonderful. Especially Joao at si como no - a real credit. Thanks to Tribes for a fantastic holiday

We (father and daughter) booked a 12 day trip to Costa Rica.

I had contacted 5 different agents before the trip with an identical trip plan and Tribes were the only one that really understood what we wanted and who we were (several didn't even reply!). Tribes really tailored the trip to "us".

From start to finish Tribes were excellent. From my initial inquiry to the information provided before and during the visit, everything was correct, easily understandable and detailed enough to know what we could expect. Alex translated our "requirements" perfectly into a trip of a life time.

And the trip. There aren't enough adjectives to describe it 😯 Everything and more than we expected.

I'd definitely recommend Tribes if you are looking for a tailormade trip.

Our first destination Tortuguero and the Manatus Hotel set a very high bar so we were dubious that the remaining places would compare but each were different and exciting where we saw so much and learned so much the old brain had difficulty in processing it all at times
The organisation was spot on and transfers excellent

We saw more wild life than expected including all the monkey species Turtles whilst snorkelling two humpback whales with calf from the boat returning from Caño Island and on the last hike in Corcovado we encountered a Puma on the trail

Alex put together the perfect trip for us after quizzing us about the sort of thing we were looking for. Everything went smoothly and communication while we were there was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

Tribes Travel curated the perfect safari holiday for us - three stops in Botswana, ending up at Victoria Falls in Zimbabawe. The team were always super responsive, and listened to what we had planned, then produced the perfect bespoke trip. Every detail was thought about and the quality of the lodges and guides was absolutely outstanding. I cannot recommend them too highly.

We found Tribes to be an excellent company when booking our holiday. We had very good guidance and suggestions with the various areas to visit and experiences we wanted. All flights and hotel bookings, pick ups and transfers worked well.

My fears travelling independently were immediately allayed; the time went by all too quickly. I was so glad to stay in Costa Rican hotels and not the big internationals - wonderful friendly service and delicious food. The guides were friendly, excellent and informative and to a high professional standard. One particular moment on a canal creek in Tortuguero: Sebastian said, “we turn off the boat motor, no photos, but just to sit for a minute’s silence, to bask in the sounds of the rain forest. Everyone said how special a moment that was.

A really great, well organised holiday in a super interesting country. Travel and transfers perfect, accommodation all good, lovely people - feel like we’ve been on a real adventure holiday!

Alex listened to what we were looking for and he gave us exactly that. Wildlife from Caribbean to Pacific with excellent guides throughout. Accommodation food and hire car all a bonus in terms of excellence. Everything ran smoothly and to time, couldn’t ask for anything more.

This our second trip to Costa Rica, both booked by Alex at Tribes. The holiday exceeded our expectations once again. Excursions and experiences were excellent. Everything went seamlessly with no hitches. Transfers between the 5 regions we visited were punctual, vehicles roomy and drivers professional. Our accommodation was perfect, all of a great standard and locations exactly met the brief. Prior to booking, any questions were responded to promptly and Alex was able to provide lots of useful information when planning our trip. We found the Vamoos app containing our itinerary and documents useful and easy to navigate.
