Only accept positive reviews

Denying me the opportunity to post an honest review of a scam tourist attraction. They denied the post due the images having already been posted by someone else before. Which is idiocy as how can anyone make more than 1 complaint of anything. Although they seem to allow endless googled images of Dolphins to be attached. (Dolphin viewing boat ride) aka Glorified boat ride without any dolphins. It is also obvious that the positive reviews are fakes / bots.

I had a disappointing experience with this service. The staff was unresponsive, and I felt misled by the information provided on their website. It was frustrating trying to get answers, and when I did, the information seemed inconsistent and unreliable. I expected better communication and transparency. Highly do not recommend this service and this website

Tripadvisor is completely useless and pointless

Tripadvisor does not verify any of the reviews. The public can review having never stayed, never booked, never eaten at, never visited any of the venues they review.
Tripadvisor also produces the 'member' data from google without the businesses consent. Businesses can not delete the details even if they are completely incorrect they can only edit.
If you report another business has negatively reviewed a competing business, showing the same words same review, are used on multiple competitors times they say contact those businesses????

There is nothing on tripadvisor that will help you as a potential customer to improve your holiday.

Fake reviews on TripAdvisor

TripAdvisor are clearly not verifying their reviews with actual people/customers that went on the holiday to the hotel. There are soooo many 5 star fake reviews from what looks like staff from the hotels. They’re so easy to spot as they’re all 5 star, always 2-3 lines only, they say pretty much the same thing as the other reviews, they’re done at around the same time, they’re mostly foreign names and typically the people writing the review, it’s the first review they’ve done on TripAdvisor. This should absolutely not be allowed to happen. Every review should be cross referenced with the hotel to verify that the customer actually stayed at that hotel on holiday and the email address should also be verified with the customer before a review is left. This way everyone will know these are genuine reviews. This should not be allowed to happen and a company as big as TripAdvisor should not be allowed to get away with this, it’s a massive scam and needs to be sorted out.

Caledonian Travel Skipton and Boltin…

Caledonian Travel Skipton and Boltin Abbey railway includes Carvery lunch I was really surprised that the Carvery didn't include Yorkshire puddings at the end of the day we are in Yorkshire!!!

The Beef was very nice and Turkey too but only 3 roast potatoes 🙄 1 jug of gravy to share and I had to ask twice before I got more gravy!!!

We got very little time when we got off the train after eating our lunch.🙄🙄

The apartment was reasonably good.

The apartment was fairly good , clean with a modern Kitchen and lounge /dining area .
2 Bedrooms were small with double beds but clean.
View from one of the bedrooms was not nice so we kept the blind closed.
Bathroom modern and spacious with good shower.
The approach to the apartment left much to be desired and this also applied to the entrance.
Guests will need to take tea towels & cloths as none provided. There were two bath towels which was meant to last us 10 days and no hands towels for either the kitchen or bathroom.
Parking a fair walk and mainly paying which was not cheap. Free car parks a good 15mins away were like a field with no markings for spaces. Not sure how safe these would be.
Air conditioning in kitchen/lounge area but not bedrooms.
We have paid for 10 days but decided to count our stay short and left after 6 nights.

I put this for my bangkok floating market and this biased company didn’t put my review for Damnoen floating market :
“Con market , Thai con artist absolute rip off . Charged us 10 times more and that too showing us they were honest ...what an artist these guys are. How to fake genuineness and loose trust in humans ,this all the summary for this market.

It seems Tripadvisor is fabricating and manipulating positive reviews for certain places … hand in gloves ….

Unsolicited contact, impossible to get service. Shonky.

I don't have an account with Tripadvisor nor do I want one yet they have today sent me an unsolicited email telling me I have new terms to review. It's impossible to get in touch with anyone to ask for assistancee unless I log in. I don't have a login and I don't want one. I DO want them to stop contacting me and delete any information they hold on me or my holiday let property. Disgraceful.

Does not like REAL REVIEWS likes fake ones because any real POOR REVIEWS do not encourage people to go wih the operator and then this company fails to make money.

Find the trip on TripAdvisor then go to the site owner and book or even use another tour company but stay away from booking with FAKE REVIEWS

A very unpleasant experience

I bought a Toyota just over 3 years ago when Hendys Christchurch was a Toyota dealership and had an excellent car buying experience. It has since become a Kia Dealer and my personal experience could not be more different. The Salesman I spoke to was very matter of fact, and to say he lacked interpersonal skills is an understatement. He even made comments when I parked my current car there the previous day and visited them but he was busy so I looked at cars next door in the Honda Dealership. When I came back into the Kia Dealership he was still engaged. I revisited Hendy Kia today to which he remarked I saw you park, walk off and come back to collect your car yesterday . How unbelievably arrogant!! To the extent I do go ahead with a Kia purchase. I will go elsewhere.

Left with bad taste after nice meal!!

Food and service was nice for a birthday meal. The problem came paying the bill. It was £108 and I was given option on keypad to leave a tip?
15% 20% 25% or custom amount.
I chose custom and blank page comes up and I put in £120 thinking that was total I was paying for my meal. I payed and walked away then my phone pinged and told me I had paid £228. I said to staff member I paid £120 on screen and she said right away really matter of fact and NOT surprised "yeah you just paid £120 tip"
I spoke to manger who seemed annoyed and said to me "THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!! NOTHING TO DO WITH US IT'S HEAD OFFICE"
I said surely if this is happening
"ALL THE TIME"
you should be pointing it out to customers as not everyone will have banking apps to alert them like the elderly? She shrugged and said its corporate nothing to do with us!
I said again you and your staff are taking the payment so it is to do with you and the staff!
She was NOT interested and took my details to send to head office for a refund.
It was 7 days ago still waiting on my £120 refund.
Check what your paying and your recipients when visiting here its a disgrace they know about this and allowing it to happen!

Ashley Court Hotel Torquay..Oh dear !

Ashley Court Hotel Torquay..where to start..wouldn't recommend to anyone under 60,decor extremely dated and whole Hotel smelt musty,shower didn't work despite reporting was told 'I'll make a note of it ' so no shower for 2 days! Breakfast was like a prison,everyone had to site in waiting room 😆 🤣 then told at 8.30am on the dot...in you go...the icing on the cake was while waiting to leave coffee at the bar was taken off me as didn't accept a card unless I spent £10 !!...

Estiville Eldorado Hotel Salou Spain

I would like to leave feedback for the service provided by Jet2 representative Sergio and hotel manager Peter on our annual sisters and nieces holiday spent at Estiville Eldorado Spain last week.
From arriving at Bristol Airport on 10/5/25 to leaving on 17/5/25 the service from Jet2 staff was without any doubt the best experience of all our holidays, which we have taken together as a family for the past 15 years.
The assistance team on arrival, the Jet2 cabin crew, the coach transfer, and hotel check in were faultless.
The hotel was the best we have stayed at that provided wheelchair provision at short notice, the internal space within our accommodation, the selection of food and drinks, friendly front of house and bar staff and reception team.
However due to a medical emergency on our penultimate day our greatest praise is for our Jet2 representative SERGIO and hotel manager PETER.
You went above and beyond to help us in our hour of need. Without you by our side one of our sisters may not have survived that medical emergency. But with you organising the help of the magnificent hospital teams, Doctors, Nurses, Ambulance crew she should be back with us again this weekend.
Sergio from the bottom of our hearts we would like to say the biggest “thank you “ for your support, time and dedication in everything you did for us all as a family but more importantly for our Sister Susan and her daughters Kelly and Jodie.
You may be relatively new in the role but you were a master of it.

Avoid using Walker Tours

Avoid using Walker Tours. They don't do refunds and they take ages to respond to emails.
I booked one tour of the Vatican Museum and the Sistene Chapel. I tried unsuccessfully to get a refund. No luck here.
They are very expensive for similar tours too.

John Lewis Oxford Street…

i bought a toilet seat in the Oxford Street branch of John Lewis 2 weeks ago
after just 2 weeks the product was broken. My wife returned to the store to get a refund. She was told she cannot get a full cash refund and she could only get half the value of the product which is totally outrageous and unacceptable. She spoke to
the manager of the store who was also very unhelpful
sending my wife to a different floors without resolving the matter I spent £65 on this product expecting it to be good quality:
I made a written complaint online and was given a reference number CASE-28917088.b
i was told I will be contacted within two days
that was on Wednesday the 7th still nothing
i called an online number and i was directed to a WhatsApp page
i was told someone would contact me from the store on Saturday 10th/5 /2025 this hasn't happened
avoid shopping at this stores the customer service is terrible and the shop tries to avoid
refunds on faulty products
