Shortcomings of the Troostwijk online site.
The Troostwijk online site is very good. I have been using it for over 10 years. Its usability has deteriorated a lot recently. It often freezes, it logs you out during bidding, and it only partially displays items marked as favorites during bidding. As a result, I cannot even bid on many items marked as favorites if I look at the favorites folder.
The other old problem is that there is no contact email address for the current auction. As a result, it is very difficult or impossible to negotiate with the seller for items that have been won.
Regardless, the platform is good, and I always keep an eye on it.

If you decide to participate in the TB Auction group, like Trooswijk Auction, Vavato be very carefull particullary with the pick up schedule which might be with the back date or very short notice in my case for the lot nr A1-39986-353 less than 24h from payment due date. Dishonest business practices
I have very bad exerience with Troostwijk Auction, Vavato or TB Auction NL B.V.
I have invoice with th date of 16th of March 2026 with the due date of 18th of of March 2026 with the pickup information that auctioneer will send the schedule for the pickup within 48h to the email and it will also appear on the commercial Vavato.be lot page.
Non of the pick up information for the collection of the purchase have been received. On 24th of March 2026 I have received the email about partial refund so they have charged about half of the purchase price. After calling countless times the Troostwijk Auction representative gave information that pick up was due on 12th which is 4 days before I got the invoice and Trooswijk representative said that final pickup is 19th of March 2026 so the next day from payment due date. So beware dealing with Trooswijk Auction, Vavato.be and TB Auction NL B.V.
Also I have full email conversation with the Mdm Mirelle from Trooswijk Auction were she said that will transfer the lot from initially private buyer to the business account. What happened is that she never put the information in the vavato.be nor I have received pick up information on the email. Dishonest business practices.

It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure to place a bid with the correct account, but I see in our system that we did change the lot from your private to our business account. However, we never received payment for the lot after that. That is why you also did not receive the collection schedule, but that would still have been found on the auction page. If you would have contacted us in the time in between, we could have checked for you, but unfortunately we did not get a message until it was too late. If you have any issues in the future, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can contact the seller and help you in time.

Thank you for your review. I see your last lots have been collected by a carrier. Lots that are to be collected from the Netherlands, are from Trosotwijk, not from Surplex. The carrier can help you with the export documentation. Since Troostwijk is an intermediary and not the seller of the lots, we can not help you obtain any export documents, and export is the responsibility of the buyer. I would advise you to contact the transport company.

I received an item that is incomplete
I received an item that is incomplete. I have already sent several emails and even tried contacting the two Troostwijk contacts I had via WhatsApp, but I have not received any response.
I also sent an additional email simply asking whether my previous messages had been received, yet I still got no reply at all—not even a single response.
This is the second time I have experienced issues with your company, and it appears that you do not value your customers, particularly buyers like myself. If this situation is not resolved promptly, I will have to report the matter to the appropriate authorities.
To clarify, this concerns a purchase I made which was delivered incomplete.
I expect a prompt explanation and resolution.
