Well done Ross

We had TSG plumber Ross, round today to replace our toilet and bathroom. He has done an exceptional job. Was polite, cleaned up after his work. He communicated well with us to explain what was being done, asked which colour floor tiles we wanted. Can't recommend him enough.
Well we tried the bath today, to have a shower, unfortunately found the bath narrower than our old bath, we both feel unsafe standing in the bath

Received a letter informing me the gas boiler was due for inspection, I called then to explain I had an appointment that day and could I arrange a different date.
I phoned the company and a women answered, I explained I was out of town on the date, she replied you can't cancel the appointment because you don't have an appointment. I said I have your letter here, she said angry YOU DON'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!
and that was the end of the phone call.

Tsg came to fit a wetroom the guy that came was friendly but worked very slow and spent most of the day moaning on his phone about other people also taking personal calls throughout the day . The pump and other bits badly fitted and paint was left to peel off . The fan was fitted but didn't work correctly. After a few rude emails from staff member the painted wall was tiled . Other faults in the bathroom were reported but still not complete. The company needs to relise they are doing work for people with a disability who have suffered with not being able to shower for over 14 months and then looked forward to some independence to have a wet room fitted to then put up with cowboy work . The whole experience with tsg was physically and mentally draining

Colin Lead Engineer , with no customer service or manners !!!

Hate having to write this review in all the years of having TSG workers in my home , Colin ( apparently the lead engineer 🤣)you have to be the most rudest , arrogant obnoxious not just workman but person I have had the misfortune to come into contact with
Today you rang me ( although no appointment had been booked ) You’re attitude was diabolical from the minute I politely answered your call , Yeah I’m at your door at the Buzzer, so asking who are you I’m from TSG so I said didn’t know you where coming I’m not home ( at hospital appointment) so I say have you come to replace the expansion valve ( as that was what on the repair note from the last engineer ) He reply’s listen I’m the lead engineer?? and I’ve got £37,000
worth of equipment in the van so you ring the office , so I say we’re going round in circles here thank you for your call and end the call , The consultant looked at me and said How rude why did he talk to you like that ( the phone is not on hands free ) so you can imagine how loud he was bellowing
Colin maybe retrain in customer service and attitude to customers, especially women , because you sound like the sort of bloke who probably wouldn’t open your mouth to a bloke
If you still find yourself struggling how to be a decent member of the workforce , do the public a favour get yourself another job not dealing with the public and stop inflicting yourself on us , you’re Toxic !!!
On ringing TSG they couldn’t apologise enough they don’t need to , Usually their workers are helpful, considerate and strive to help with a respectful attitude
TSG Colin , does your reputable company a Disservice, Sorry I have had to write this I usually give your company and workers 100% credit , thankfully Colin is the exception rather than the rule

Anual service and office seem good but not sure about emergency call out

Always get a message and a call before engineers arrive and calling their office is usually ok once through the "press this button for.." redirects you to the right person. Had no probs rearranging servicing. Emergency callouts initiated by the council housing / repairs team seems good (Guildford BC). My fairly regaular servicing engineer seems nice and i feel i can trust him.
However, on 2 ocassions of emergency call-out (no hot water or heating) engineer comes, gets the boiler working instantly but line up additional work. My suspicion radar kicks in.
Not sure what to make of this yet but recently the guy got it working straight away but there was a dripping pipe directly under the boiler straight after the fix.. guy made me put a container under it to catch the drips (no drips before). i went back a bit later (something niggling in the back of my brain) and noticed later that a plastic connector had been unscrewed causing the drip. It may have been necessary for some reason but the guy didn't say anything about doing that and when i rescrewed it it still worked fine.
I'm in the process of questioning this with my local authority.

Violent, threatening, abusive company

Violent, aggressive, abusive and threatening company.
Arranged date for them to do annual boiler check. They wanted to come every 9 months but I said every 11 months. They sent man around anyway and then changed date a second time after that, when we had agreed aa date.
They then threatened to cut my gas off, take me to court and try and diet me evicted all because they need to do boiler checks every 9 months to increase their profits to £42million a year.
They ate scum gangsters and I am trying to get them investigated.
Try not to use them unless you have to. Do not fall for there pathetic threats.

Don't Let 'Nadeem' In !

To: Cllr Tim Griffin (Cambridge City - Coleridge)
To: Mr Adam Thrussell (Managing Director, TSG Building Services Plc)

Today, one of your gas service engineers, 'Nadeem' (Ref: 7465093), supposedly performed a routine, annual service on my gas boiler at the address below. My landlord is Cambridge City Council.

He opened my kitchen hot tap at full blast and left it running for 5 minutes whilst he retreated to the boiler closet. Such a long test had never been performed during past services, so I shut off the water myself, in disgust at the wastage. Nadeem then retaliated with the non-sequitur that he had to run a 2-minute cycle to test the hot water. This would actually have been better performed in the bathroom, adjacent to the boiler closet, where the pipe run is considerably shorter.

Nadeem raised the previously-set hot water and radiator temperatures, without informing me, which could have led to scalding.

His adjustments also left me without any hot water for washing at all, which was only discovered after his departure.

From experience as a user, I set the temperatures back to my preferred levels, and got the hot, washing water back to the sinks again, via a number of keystrokes on the external, Glow-worm Sustain 30c boiler-cabinet buttons

In legal summary, your TSG Building Services plc gas engineer, Nadeem, failed to perform his servicing duties with reasonable care and skill, and was therefore in contravention of the Consumer Rights Act, 2015. The consumer was also inconvenienced. Nadeem wasted considerable metered water and gas by fully-opening the kitchen hot tap, vacating the kitchen, and not paying proper attention to the flow test. For that, wasting my time making corrections, and this complaint, I require financial compensation.

Furthermore, I require TSG Building Services plc to consult with me, in advance of future services, as to the identity and qualifications of the gas service engineer they are sending. Given my dismal experience with TSG Building Services plc, I reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone I consider incompetent.

Councillor Tim Griffin: As a 'handyman', I was able to nominally manage the above situation but other, elderly, sheltered tenants are at potential risk with such a 'Loose Cannon' around. Your previous gas contractor, based in Cottenham, was superior.

If you live in London and “Luke” is coming beware.

I had taken a day off to be at home when a service engineer was due to come for a yearly check. Propped the front door open so I wouldn’t miss them. Heard footsteps coming down the stairs(I live in a basement) as they’re metal and noisy. Metal gate opened and slammed shut bit no knock or call to say someone had arrived. Went out yo find a wet footprint on my doorstep by the wide open door and a card in the letter box saying TSG had come and I wasn’t in! Went outside and “Luke” was still in his van. I asked why he hadn’t come in or knocked? “I heard you talking to someone you’ll have to reschedule” and drove off. I phoned TSG to be told “our engineer knocked several times”(a complete lie) and “we can see he’s been at the property because he took a picture of the front door”. Like that explains anything except the call handler was implying I wasn’t telling the truth. I hope you all have front door video cameras to help when this happens to you but I guess they only do it when they realise a customer doesn’t so they can behave how they like with impunity. Awful company who hire lying teenage looking “engineers”.

It is unbelievable that they still…

It is unbelievable that they still exist. This the most unprofessional service I have encountered. The engineer came for an annual gas safety check. Before this all was good, but now I'm left without hot water and heating even though I called half an hour after he left and all they did was raise an emergency 24 hour call. I just cannot believe it. Just checked their website, a so called 'award winning company', surreal. I'm now left with 3 kids in a freezing house, nightmare. If I could give 0 stars it still wouldn't describe the disgracefulness.

I feel like crying!

I feel like crying!
They kept booking me for times I told them I wasn't available, call times were long and they didn't call back when they said they would (if the time I was available wasn't etc, literally would just choose a different time and book it in regardless). They've finally sent a text for the day I said... But 1pm is now classed as am!?
I guess they know the landlords personally to get the contract.
But the engineers always leave the boiler "not working" and leaves us without hot water and heating. It's extremely annoying. Customer service is so bad, the last guy I spoke to sounded half asleep and annoyed as if I was the person disturbing him from his slumber. I have complained to the landlord, let's see how that goes!

Have no idea how this company got their contract renewed

People use hyperbole so often but I am quite serious: this is easily (easily, handily, by far and away) the worst company I have ever had to deal with. It is beyond comical. I have lived in my flat for 7 years and more than half of that time the heating hasnt worked, and I have had to wait in for them to come & fix it, and it never happens. The average is 4 or 5 times I will wait in before someone comes. And then they leave & they havent even fixed the issue - a few weeks later the heating will break again! I think they were doing quick fixes or something? I even had someone arrive (at like 6pm) to tell me he was going home! & then left a note through my door telling me when he called I was out! I used to complain, but I gave up.
