Tucan Travel 

Traveled the Baltic region and had a very well educated and informative guide! I personally liked the time had in each destination, and having centrally located hotels made it even easier!

There is no doubt I wouldn't had been able to squeeze in all that this tour provided I did this on my own!

Looking forward to my next Tucan tour!!

I traveled solo and was skeptical because I was going to be on tours for 3-1/2 weeks. My groups were a lot of fun and I met interesting people from all over the world and I'm still in contact with several of them. My guides were all great, very knowledgeable. Some hotels were better than others but I did not take this trip expecting luxury. I carried just my backpack and I felt like it was secure at all times and that includes being on the Inca Trail for 4 days. I would not take this trip unless I was on a tour -- it was nice that I could choose to hang out with people or hang back if I wanted for dinners and downtime. I will definitely use Tucan again for more adventures. They took the hassle and the stress out of planning every little detail and I needed that.

I've now used Tucan for 5 trips. I've had some really really great experiences as well as a couple of complete duds. Mostly because of poor guides. They must not pay their guides much because they seems to get generally a lower quality. The itinerary and value is great though. Especially like Tucan for African tours.

Tucan provide clear, honest information about their tours. Their guides are professional and knowledgeable and their tours are well organised and fairly priced. I've done a couple of tours with Tucan and will definitely do more in the future.

Booked a trip for Moscow to Warsaw. . things were good until we had to travel 9 hours on a bus to Warsaw, where we arrived at 9:30 PM & our tour was over "after Breakfast". . so my last day of the trip was spent on a bus ride to Poland & no sightseeing of Warsaw!!!!

I had such a great time in Brazil. I spent 6 nights in Mato Grosso Do Sul. I visited Campo Grande, Bonito and Pantanal. The guide was very knowledgeable and I was able to see many beautiful places like Gruta Do Lago Azul. Snorkelling in a crystal clear water called Rio Da Prata this was an incredible experience, watching the sunrise and sunset in the Amazon Jungle, etc.. The local guides were all very helpful. Is my third booking with them and I must say I'm very happy with Tucan Travel services.

Two trips had a rude, selfish, cheap individual who did 5 trips in all and Tucan did little except warn tour leaders.

Clamping or what, couldn't fault the accommodation, highly recommend small group tours and the tour director always on hand.

A great trip which covers a lot of ground allowing you to see a lot of the country. There were plenty of optional activities to choose from, which allowed people to tailor their holidays, with their budget and their interests. We had a great tour leader who went out of her way to help make and change arrangements for anyone in the group as they needed. The only let down for me was that a couple travelling legs of the tour were by public bus, rather than a private bus for the group, in particular the last leg of 5hrs (or more) back to San Jose.

We have travelled with Tucan twice now. They are well organised and have great itineraries. The guides are very knowledgeable and easy to get along with which makes for a wonderful experience

Everything was what I asked for and what was planned. It was great. Highly recommend.

Went on a tailor made tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Very well organised, so would really recommend the company.

Everything went very smoothly on our tour. We had a fabulous tour guide, who was fun, knowledgeable and organised. We got to visit a lot of places that tourists don’t always get to go. Most accommodation was good. It was interesting and I got to know so much about Cuba.

2 of our 3 guides were exceptional. Guide in Jordan was very knowledgeable but was unenthusiastic and did not communicate well with the group.

Accommodations were all good except for hotel in Aswan. Falucca sail and overnight along with crew and food was great. Hotel on Dead Sea was exceptional. Drawback was that we were forced to eat all of our suppers there due to hotel location.

All sites visited in Egypt, Jordan and Israel were incredible. Dome of the Rock and Wailing Wall in Jerusalem should be included in tour.

Airport transfer from Cairo to Amman was a nightmare. Toucan should be aware that credit card used to purchase flight tickets along with passport of credit card user is required to get tickets. All five tickets were suspended until we were able to contact Toucan and have photo of card and passport sent to us. An hour to get tickets!

Guide and driver were not present when our group arrived in Israel. No contact number had been provided in case of emergency. Only after contacting a UK Toucan Representative were we informed that they were on their way, 45 minutes late.

The itinerary, the Tucan team, transport and locations… All exceeded my expectations. Tucan brought Sri Lanka to life. Highly recommended!

We travelled to Costa Rica with Tucan Travel. We had a great time and I would totally recommend it to everyone!:) Our tour guide was such a nice guy and he was also taking us to really nice places for food etc. The optional activities are also a must - don't miss them!

Tucan Tours suits my style
The balance is just right between included activities and tour leader and optional. You can join the group, or go your own way some days and this keeps the dynamic fresh. We shared with a great bunch of people, this along with well paced itinerary and super tour leaders made our recent two trips just perfect. Well almost. Travel never is perfect, that's the whole point. ;)

It's basic, but good and everything as expected. Would do the tour with Tucan again.
