Great staff. Friendly, knowledgable and fun to travel with.

Good itinerary and hotels (except one was too far from city center) but the tour director was not Romanian nor did she speak that language, and she seemed indifferent and burned-out. Did not allow time to stop to take photos or look at the views, and the bare minimum # of restroom stops. The "local fee" payable in cash in Euros (though we were not in a country that uses them, the ATMs issue local currency) should have been included in the total price of the tour for side by side comparison purposes when choosing a tour.

Had a great trip to East Africa. Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya. We had an amazing gorilla trek, went kayaking in the Nile did a walking , biking and driving safari. Overall an u forgettable experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable

I had the most wonderful experience in West Africa with Tucan Travel. The service, support and advice received from the booking team was excellent. The tour was most enjoyable, we traveled mainly in the land bus which was very comfortable. There was a wide variety of accommodation and locations were ideal for our needs and the varied experiences were totally incredible. Getting up close with the wildlife was definitely the highlight for me on this tour. I would highly recommend Tucans adventure tours. This was my third tour with Tucan and I have already booked the next one within a week of my return. Exceptional service and always professional.

No trip is perfect, but this trip was exactly what I was expecting. Southern Africa involves some travel through isolated, wild areas and we were well treated by our tour guide who made us feel safe and joyous. He was very knowledgeable about the animals and birds and politics and people. We had a wide range of adventurous activities from zip-lining to safaris, boat cruises, 4WD dune rides, swimming, canoeing, hiking, eating and shopping. Of course we had a few bumpy rides on poor roads, but these were not significant. The accommodations ranged from okay to fantastic - always clean, always safe, always interesting.

Such an amazing tailor made tour! My friends and I went to Thailand for the summer using tailor made. I think it really added such a lovely experience to the holiday. Everything that was picked out for us made the experience so unique and nothing that we would have picked ourselves to do! Would definitely recommend tailor made torus again!

I did both the Russia to Budapest trip and Budapest to Dubrovnik with Tucan. My requirement was to join a small group tour of like minded people, stay in tourist class clean accommodation and be guide by a competent tour leader. All my expectations were met and exceeded with both tours.

Tour Guide named Youness couldn't have been worse on this recent 15 day Morocco trip. For example, he was not informed on basic add-ons offered and gave me erroneous information multiple times. When I *privately* raised this with him, he responded by *publicly* calling me out and insulting me on the group tour bus which was entirely inappropriate. Fellow travelers had no idea what the issue even was! It was clearly an attempt by Youness to try to humiliate and intimidate me, rather than try to resolve the problem. It seemed to be done out of arrogance. He was also inappropriately casual, familiar, and used slangy English, which when combined with his accent, made him sometimes hard to understand. I have travelled extensively throughout the world over many years and have never, ever experienced such an inept and obnoxious guide. The local city guides were generally quite good, however, but one in Marrekesh seriously acted stoned as he giggled at his own jokes. He also managed to loose us in a souq which shouldn't have happened, but that didn't really bother us. The hotels were pretty awful, though in fairness, some of the places we went were quite remote. Nonetheless, I know for certain we were not given the best rooms in these places: at one hotel, we had to go to the front desk for a room change as there were so many flies in our room, it was effectively uninhabitable. The hotel responded to us by kindly changing our room, and it was much better quality. I had never traveled Tucan, and wasn't very impressed by their pre-trip communication (basically none), but liked the itinerary. Despite the itinerary, however, I cannot recommend this company, primarily because of the ignorance and toxicity of the general tour guide.

The trip was much better than I expected. The transfers were punctual and professional, the guides were knowledgeable and helpful, and the hotels were clean and conveniently located.

I would have given it 5 stars if I could communicate directly with the local agency rather than through the sales office. The itinerary given by the sales office was very difficult to follow and a bit vague and caused me a lot of anxiety. I was given the impression that most of the tours were group tours. I only found out that nearly all the tours were private when I arrived in Peru. Even the tour guide indicated that he knew ahead of time that he was assigned to our group. So why wasn't that revealed to us before our trip?

Trip was very well organised from start to finish and the Leader was just excellent in all aspects of his role, cannot fault him in any way.

Thoroughly enjoyed recent trip in Peru with Toucan Travel. We did Andes and Amazon with one day hike to Machu Picchu. Excellent tour leader made the whole experience interesting and welcoming, as did the local guides. Great group of fellow travellers. The tour was well planned and varied, with organised trips and activities as well as free time, striking a good balance. We experienced cities, towns, villages, wildlife, culture, jungle, islands, trekking and markets. The travel on buses, overnight tourist bus and boats went without delays. The accommodation was generally very good. Plenty of excellent food. Lots of fun and laughter along the way.

As honest as the score can get, Tucan Travel has a very special place in my heart, they provide my international clients with the most amazing and exotic trips on the world, with great attention, transport, and experiences abroad!. giving you a once in a lifetime travel enjoying every kilometer of it! as of their support, is to the stars and beyond, wonderful and caring.

booked a trip early for myself and 3 brothers. Price dropped significantly before departure and Tucan wouldnt budge on any form of refund or credit, meaning I paid around $700 needlessly. In addition had to pay $110 US local payment each - no idea what it was for and where it went over a 7 night tour in Vietnam on a fully paid tour it is alot of money. The tour was fine though and I liked my guide but Id be reluctant to use them again as it felt like money was all Tucan were after.

The trip was what I paid for in respect to rooms ,we new it was not 4 star but we did not pay 4 star prices Tour ran on time .
Always hate over night trains it’s just that simple.

We had a fantastic trip with Tucan Travel – we opted for a private 'Tailor-made' tour of Sri Lanka and couldn’t be happier with the experience.

We worked with Tucan over a period of time to ensure our trip was exactly what we wanted. They were patient with our replies and supported us in what to see and where to go to get the most of our experience. We could not have fitted anymore into our two weeks and have come back completely exhausted but with the most amazing memories of our experience. Our tour guide was absolutely amazing and had so much to offer in terms of knowledge about the country, sharing his own experience and getting us to all our places safely and promptly. We honestly don’t know how we would have crammed everything in without him. He was an excellent addition to our trip and we couldn’t thank him enough. If you’re looking for travel, culture, experience, superb food and hospitality then look no further. You won’t regret it – you may just need another holiday to recover after!!
