Tucan Travel 

This was my 3rd trip with Tucan and it was another great trip! Our tour guide was outgoing, friendly, very knowledgeable about the countries we visited and if we had any problems, she did her best to get them resolved quickly. I look forward to my next Tucan trip!
Our itinerary was great; we saw lots of amazing things from the salt flats and geysers to lagoons with flamingos.
The two nights in hostels on the salt flats were pretty basic accommodation - no hot water, and no charging of phones at the second hostel, but the food was good and the beds were warm.

Our guide in Peru was knowledgeable as well as humorous. The pace and route of our tour allowed us to easily acclimate to the altitude of Puno, Ollantayambo, and Cusco...not to mention Machu Picchu. It was a great trip!

We were extremely pleased with out Tucan Tour. Our guide was exceptional: knowledgeable, wise, funny, able to troubleshoot any situation, and just a joy to share our travels with. We took a 28-day tour of the Balkans and felt we got just the right balance of group and private adventures. We stayed in both hotels and apartments, traveled by train, ferry, bus, and van — had a truly broad range of experiences. Our guide got us smoothly through nine border crossings, settled us into our lodgings, and gave us all the maps and information we would need to explore. There was always an evening meal he would arrange if anyone wanted to share their day, but there was never any pressure to cling to a whole group of tourists full time. It was just what we wanted since we usually travel on our own. Perfect.

We had a lovely stay. The guides were excellent and everyone was organized neatly.
Would recommend this organisation any day.

Visiting Jordan with Tucan travel superceded my expectations, truly an amazing experience.

Overall our Inca, Falls & Tango tour arranged through Tucan Travel was great with Machu Picchu & Iguazu Falls being the highlights. Generally the tours organised throughout the trip were good with the Cusco tour group the best & the Buenos Aires tour the worst. Our accommodation was in small Hotels centrally located in safe areas within the cities. Overall the standard was good however we did have an issue with the Hotel in Puerto Iguazu which we ultimately left because of it’s poor standard moving to another Hotel. Overall it was a great trip.

The 53 day trip of Africa was well planned with enough stays in each area except for eswatini (Swaziland) which had 1 to many.
The professionalism of the drivers and guides was fantastic, their training exceptional. They were fun, knowledgeable, and caring.
Our accommodation was good and in some places very, very good, except for a couple in Uganda and Fish River Canyon.
I feel head office needs to travel incognito to the various hotels, camps etc to check on them all and realize where improvements could be made.
The trucks are very comfortable and roomy although a little R & M is required eg some of the seat adjusters don't work.
I am a fit 72 year old single women and found the trip fantastic and I was able to cope with all that was put in front of me (Just Fine) (as our guide would say😊)

Great trip. Excellent accommodations (better than anticipated), excellent leader and driver. I had assumed that the trip would consist mostly of younger people and was surprised that the members were mostly very active retirees. This wasn’t a problem since I was one of the retirees, but it was a bit of a shock for the two twenty year olds. The group was very accepting of all ages so all worked out well. Tucan needs to consider revising its marketing at least for Africa.

Good timing, organization, and experience!

I did two tours, one had a european guide in Central American countries which was pretty bad as she knew nothing about those countries.
The next tour was through Peru with a peruvian guide who was fantastic.

Great value for money. Excellent guides throughout . Better than average accommodation proportionate to overall cost of tour

A great economical way to travel. Great guides and itinerary our fourth with Tuscan highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 17 days on this Tucan Tour. The driver was amazing both in the driving and his mechanical abilities. Our tour leader was very enthusiastic and kept the daily activities moving smoothly. When we joined, the group had been travelling together for a week but we were soon made welcome and given the heads up on the "rules and regulations" of making the trip happy and, most important, healthy.
Accommodation was amazing and food - top notch !
As the tour leader said : "We will see you on the other side"!!!!

Tucan was an amazing experience and very much at your own pace, you can see as much or as little of the places as you choose. Our tour lead was great and knowledgeable. The people on the tour were amazing and become a second family.

The tour is overall well planned and organized. Some of the hotels arranged are above expectation. Good choice!

Excellent guide and well coordinated tour

Saw more than I expected, tasted lots of good food, and traveled with nice people. Got lots of new images on my retinas. Good trip.

We had a tailor made tour of Cuba which was just fantastic. A very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide took us on a great tour and also told us so much about the rich culture and intruiging history of Cuba. The tour was well organised and we got a great mixture of cities, towns and beaches. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I've been away with Tucan previously on a tour, but this time I used them to book a custom trip for myself and my parents across South America. Everything was taken care, flights, transport and detailed intinery so that we got the most from our trip. When scheduled flights changed by the carriers, Tucan made sure we were taken care of. They use local agents, and these are of the highest standards and made you feel so welcome and supported in the journey. We were able to amend and make sure we got the time we wanted in locations and stay on after to make the most of our holiday.
We are now planning on heading to Asia for our next family holiday and Tucan will be our first contact to help with planning.
