No aftercare service : very disappointing

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of support from your company. My child’s seizure alarm system — essential medical equipment for my son — has not been working for over a month. During this time, I have repeatedly called and left messages to report the fault and request repair, but I have never once received a response from your fault/support team.
What is particularly frustrating is that your sales team answers calls promptly, yet when it comes to supporting families who rely on your expensive medical devices for their children’s safety, there is complete silence. This equipment is not optional or a luxury — it is critical to my son’s wellbeing.
I am asking for urgent contact and resolution, as this level of aftercare is unacceptable for a company providing medical alarm systems.

Tunstall fire

Not reliable

I have had a Tunstall lifeline unit and pendant for many years. Until recently the service wasn't bad, but of late I have numerous connection problems with about 50% of calls failing to connect or going unanswered in a timely fashion and them ringing back on landline some time later. There's no reassurance tones on the new style unit. I tried a test call today which took 35 minutes to be answered. This is totally unacceptable for a service which is a safety net for emergencies. I am seriously considering going to an alternative provider. I pay a monthly charge for the service and am not reassured it is either value for money or going to be there should I need it in an emergency. Very worrying and disappointing.

Health and safety and complete confidentiality breaches

Left me2 nights and nearly 2 days with the alarm I'm no link to allowing me to listen in on the control center and hear information re other clients dispite them knowing via myself for a full 24 hours they refused to mute it via there system until I told them I couldn't stand the 24 hour noise any more and was going to leave my property and notify the media as to the disgraceful breach of health and safety on my part and complete failure of confidentiality on all other clients don't use them they don't have a proper system in place so your more vulnerable with them

Left in bleeping hell for 36 hours

The smoke alarm battery needed changing and it was reported at 21.25 pm. The next day Tunstall didn’t attend and I waited for them most of the day. No updates were given. 10.30 am next day Tunstall engineer rang to say all his stuff “was locked in a cupboard and he’d only just got it back”. Our other fire service was doing an inspection coincidentally and the lovely man fixed it for me, not Tunstall. Their service levels are appalling

Good system for emergency however if…

Good system for emergency however if machine not working it took days to solve the problem, passing you from one person to another and every-time you update will ask you all over again then leave you on the phone and never come back until your blood boil. We are paying for their services. Until now i'm still waiting. Perhaps i can cancell this company. There are many out there.

Tunstall has being useless down to a fine art.

tunstall says on its website that they: "provide the highest quality in planned and responsive maintenance"
this is of course a large steaming pile of male, bovine excrement.
i live in a building where a recent replacement of all the alarm and access control systems saw us move to Tunstall systems. To say they are useless would quite honestly be a compliment. the access control system has never worked properly and so called "maintenance engineers" {stiffles laughter} horendous. rude, surly, spoke down to both staff and residents, ya know, us that are paying his wages. spends more time hid behind his van smoking than he does working, botchs the job so it works for a couple of days at most, then it all goes to excrement again.
personally I wouldnt recommend then to my worst enemy. They have being utterly useless down to a fine art.

Giving "ONE STAR" is not what I had in…

Giving "ONE STAR" is not what I had in mind. No star would have been more appropriate. They are hopless. The socalled "GEM" did not work properly, and I wanted to take it to their office in Brisbane, but I was informed that there would be no one to assist me. I then communicated with the Head Office, but an email, directed me to some other office, but they also failed to address the issue, and stated, that they were very busy to respond in a timly manner. The watch had been erratic, at times it was not responding at all and finally, about 15th of May 2024 the watch completely died on me. I then dispatched on 17 May the watch by registered post to the Brisbane office, which they received on 20 May 2024, but the company failed to respond. In the afternoon, Monday I contacted the office and they acknowledged that the watch had been received and somebody will contact me shortly. It did not happen. Two days later I telephoned and I was informed that a replacement watch was being sent, but so far nothing has come in the post and there was no communication from the office either. Today the 29 May I again contacted the office and now I am informed that the watch will be sent. Like all of us I too had purchased the watch as an insurance against any mishap. I'm sure you all would agree that if my watch, which I regard as insurance, is unable to provide cover, then, I would imagine, the provider of the watch must be held responsible. Please be careful.

My personal experience

One star is my personal experience. If, I was able to give this alarm a 0 then l would. I have the latest Tunstall personal alarm. I accidentally activated it. I could barely understand what was being said. I actually had to shout loudly for the device to hear me. The original one with no fall dector was much better than this one. On Monday morning, I intend to purchase another fall product personal alarm which has a rating of 98%.

STEER CLEAR!!!

Please do not ever use this company for emergency care for your loved ones, my dad pressed his personal alarm three times at 4:45 in the morning and they did nothing apart from leave a voicemail on my mobile phone which I did not get until I woke up. I called them back and demanded they do something. My dad died in the back of the ambulance at 7:15 am. They have refused to give me the voice recording of the call where the call handler admitted that they had done nothing, and it is one big cover-up!!! my dad was alone, in incredible pain, in the dark for hours, I will never rest until he gets justice!
