TV brite- received HD TV antenna which was piece of plastic. No channels were found in scanning. Absolute rubbish. Asked for refund which was processed promptly. Lost around £10 for PP. Paid using PayPal which I think encouraged the prompt refund. Piece of absolute junk. Do not buy.

Suckered or not Suckered In

Like so many of you i thought this was a great product and was worth a try, lets face it, Peter liked it ( to this day i can not find that series of Dragons Den). When this cheap bit of plastic arrived which did not look like the fancy electrical item on the web site, I was not happy. After a quick e mail back, I too was offered the partial refund, minus £13.20 or ship to Lithuania which cost the same. After another e mail this was also offered to me and keep the items which ended in the waste bin. I have to say that their customer service was very good in this matter, if you complain first, still not sure of the company, and will be a bit more careful in the future.

I recently bought one of these systems but it would not work in the area I live. After contacting the company and having to send a photograph of the items (why?) I was offered a partial refund of my money. Please be aware that you will lose money if you want refund.

I actually bought the ariel/antenna…

I actually bought the ariel/antenna that went to dragons den. I only recently installed it. I have I think 4 more channels than on freeview, the picture quality and sound is hugely better than I had on that particular tv. There was a long lead so it allowed me to move the tv to a whole other place in the room. If you were expecting to get additional channels that wasnt the criteria of the Aerial- the point was to give you hdtv quality on a channel you cant be charged for. So the channels you pick up on this Aerial dont currently attract a tv licence charge but you get hdtv quality. You need to read the purpose of the equipment prior to purchase - that is on you.

Like so many people here I was also sucked into buying this antenna, a complete waste of time, channel quality was poor and no additional channels
My exist freeview & aerial is 100% better.
My purchase price was £49.65 and eventually got a refund less postage of £36.00 and I still have the antenna sitting in the garage collecting dust lol

Complete waste of money and a scam - don't buy

After reading all the blurb about how the TvFix would provide me with free to view satellite channels and pay to view ones like Sky Sports, I ordered one in January 2019. It took nearly four weeks to arrive. Once set up I couldn't believe what a load of rubbish it is. Just wish I had looked on Trust Pilot first!
Like everyone on here has said, TvFix is a complete scam. I could only receive 8 free to view channels in very poor quality - all of which can be viewed via a Freeview anyway. So whats the point of this rubbish?
I decided to send an email to FreeseeTv complaining about the product and requesting a full refund. Waited for three weeks and still no reply. So I phoned them. Waited 15minutes to get through and gave up. I then sent another email - still no reply, until today (31st May '19). It only took them just over 5 months!!! They are sorry I am not happy with the product and have offered to refund me 20% of the purchase price. Better than nothing I suppose but I do feel justified in asking for a full refund as this product is utter rubbish and not fit for purpose as claimed in their advertising blurb.

Phew, saved by TrustPilot...

Phew, like some others checked here first. I thought it was too good to be true - it is!!!!

Many thanks TrustPilot.

...have to say, would be interested in the thoughts of the owners of TrustPilot. When this product was started I am reasonably certain they thought it would be about helping out good products and services. Wondering if they anticipated it would be a consumerist force helping to protect against scammers and those who get away with stealing from individuals because there are not enough Police resources in the UK.

They sent my Ariel's to Boots chemist…

They sent my Ariel's to Boots chemist instead of my house, and after hours of trying to locate it my daughter finally tracked it down. We purchased 2 and have tried them on 3 TV's and these don't work. No one will reply to emails - Does anyone have any other email than the support email. We purchased these thinking they had been on Dragons den that they would be good - put what a pile of rubbish. Don't waste your money, We have send yet another email but still no reply.

Scam on a large scale. BEWARE

As somebody who appreciates the benefits of using Trustpilot I should have known better than to purchase from this company without checking here first. I purchased the aerial and amplifier (try ordering the aerial WITHOUT the amplifier, you will find it almost impossible) and found it very easy to install but with absolutely no benefit whatsoever over my standard loft located aerial. No additional channels were found, quality of picture remained the same and I can declare it to be a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.

Avoid this company at all costs..... the advertised benefits appear to be rubbish, they are a disgrace.

Wish I had seen reviews before placing order .I ordered one of these on the Tuesday, tried to cancel on the Thursday, only to be told order already dispatched. I cant believe given the amount of complaints against this company, that that no official department has taken action against them. How are they still allowed to advertise on these websites. How hard can it be to stop this false advertising ???

Rip off (but read on)

Hi,
like thousands out there i believed the dragons were were on the side of the consumer....now i'm sure they are/were part of the scam!!!!, But have no fear!.
It used to be that most of UK based traders selling cheap rubbish purchased stock from overseas to sell for the maximum profit gain. However, more and more of these low rate sellers (you know the type) are joining forces with the overseas sellers and allowing them to promote their products as being UK stocked. Not only is this illigal in the UK but we have also discovered that that the mojority of the overseas profit goes to fund child labour!!!!!. So to all of the UK traders allowing and indeed helping this atrocity to happen, "you are about to be publically exposed". Later this year a group of businesses are joining ranks to expose traders/sellers claiming to be either UK based or UK stockists when in fact they bombarded our shores with cheap unusable and in some cases dangerous electrical products. "So what's new a about that" i hear you say?, Well as of July we will also be exposing the British based sellers who work along side the overseas sellers. Not only will we provide the public with ALL the realivant IP addresses etc and selling platforms they use but we will also provide business addresses and postcodes, email addresses, landline and mobile telephone numbers along with Google map photo's (Inc shop fronts where applicable), and company vehicle details. So in a nut shell, if you knowingly supply/sell (as a third party) goods being sold by overseas seller/s who are NOT based in the UK you will be exposed on line nationally!!!!!. Smile

I was duped

I was sucked-in to the very professional advertising campaign, especially with the Dragon's Den clip.
To cover myself I paid with my PayPal account. Sure enough, following all of the tech instructions I was able to locate a few channels. All of them were like trying to see through a grade 4-5 obscure glass. Quite unwatchable.
Using PayPal's complaint procedure I was able to recoup my money by returning the goods unmarked and undamaged. This return fee was not covered unfortunately.

Lesson learned, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
