Why can't I leave a minus or no star…

Why can't I leave a minus or no star review?
Yes I fell for it too and yes I was tired,
a) the antenna picks up nothing at all, I may have got more with a twisted wire coathanger.
b) Two payments went off my card, one for the amount I agreed to pay and the second for over a hundred quid which I never agreed to.
I should have realised it was dodgy when the package had no details of address or contact of any sort but did have a leaflet threatening legal action to anyone cancelling payment through their bank. UPDATE. I emailed customer service to request a return and refund but got no reply so am claiming back through the bank.

A massive thank you for comments

First of all, I had to put my rating up in order to comment on this, but I haven't actually got one, but I probably would have, because I thought it was ok following the Dragon Den's programme. All I want to do is thank everyone for the warnings as it has stopped me from losing money that I can ill afford to lose. Thank you are two simple words, but the sentiment behind them is completely sincere.

Like so many others I was taken in

Like so many others I was taken in by the Dragons Den thing, and pressurized by the 'special offer expiring tonight - only 4 left!' I must have been very tired to fall for this. I found that they had charged for a Lifetime Membership, which I am certain I had not seen and would not have paid for. So I immediately emailed them expressing my disgust and demanded a full refund. And I asked my credit card company to open a dispute. The TV company responded promptly and courteously, but insisted, twice, that I had opted for this extra. I did not budge, and kept insisting. So they sent me a refund of £59.99 so I would not have the 'benefit'(!) of Lifetime membership and incur monthly charges. I continued to tell them the whole thing was an utter scam, and that their 'Terms of Service' would not stand up in a Law Court (eg. I would have to return the item within 30 days of purchase even though it might take 30 days to arrive; and no warranty that their product might not do what is claimed for it). So they then offered to refund another £61.09, subject to my keeping the product, thereby my not having to pay return charges. They then actually effected this 2nd refund, even though I had not agreed to keep it, leaving me out of pocket by just £26.19. When the gadget arrived, it lacked a euro coaxial adapter so I had to wait a few days to get one of them. When I eventually connected to my 3 tvs, it completely failed to find any channels at all, despite my being under 15 miles from two transmitters. As I had not agreed their deal, I emailed again to demand a full refund of the remaining £26.19. They were full of apologies and immediately authorized a refund, telling me I could keep the product or discard it. I kept my credit card company informed at each stage, but I think the TV company started bending to my firm demands before a dispute was opened. I am delighted to have won this case, and can put up with the £1.15 I paid for a coaxial adapter. I have to say I am surprised by how courteous the TV company were, even though in the first place they were insisting I had opted for the extra charge.

Scam scam scam keep away

Would rate this zero stars if I could. Defo a scam keep away. I ordered 2 price should be £65.98 took £69.98 from my bank and a further £125.97. Waste of time calling them as dont get through to the Great customer service team. I have emailed the great customer service team and asked for the order to be cancelled and a refund made. If this fails my bank will make a fraud claim on the £125.98. ,

Not to be Trusted

I don’t trust this company. I tried to order at the offer price, but my bank luckily declined the payment. The total price should have been £44.69, they tried to take £105.68 from my account! So glad my bank is switched on to such companies.

Me again

Me again - see my previous post.

Well, I waited (as advised by my bank) for the 10 day delivery deadline to elapse without delivery. Of course it did elapse - no delivery.

I then sent an email instructing I be refunded the total cost of the two items.

I immediately got a very pleasant email telling me they were sorry for the delay and were delighted to refund me in full.

Money in bank 3 - 5 working days they said.

'Yeah - right' I thought.

Today - three working days later, I look at my account and see a total of £130 plus has been refunded to my account.

'surprised' is an understatement.

Okay, they didn't deliver - but the speed of response and subsequent refund makes me wonder if we (or anyway me), have got this all wrong???

Posing this review in case it helps ...I've never come across something like this before.

I thought I had been well and truly scammed.

This company is also known by…

This company is also known by DIGITALHDS and TV BRITE... they scammed me of £141 this morning after i gave them my bank details in good faith after seeing advertizment on a Dragons Den marketing Ad.

They were supposed to take £45 for one antenna, and have offered a full refund in 5 days. But i am still not happy, this was done without authorization or any type of notice saying this would happen. Not impressed would not recommend if life depended on it. I dont even like TV, and dont watch TV. I was going to only invest in this particular antenna because it advertized no yearly subcription like the normal TV license expects. I thought it would be nice for guests who visit me. I think the website is rigged as other say the same thing; that they have been charged with two payments, one of which is unexplained, and not quoted anywhere on the payment page.

Would give zero stars if I could.

Would give zero stars if I could.

This is nothing more than a cheap indoor aerial, and won;t get you any subscription channels such as Sky, Netflix, Amazon etc.

What's more, you can buy these antennas from China for around £1 each! A pretty good mark-up for these scam artists.

Have any of the 'Dragons' that invested…

Have any of the 'Dragons' that invested in the 'HD Aerial' product ever given an interview or commented since the programme went out? One has to assume that they all have the product in their own homes and are
extremely happy, yes?

I bought 2 of the aerials and they receive less channels than the freeview built into our TV
This product is not fit for purpose
The company also took two payments out of my account instead of one and I am currently looking into this practice. I would urge people not to be fooled by the Dragon's Den promotion

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could I would't even give it a 1 star lol.
It was sold on the pretence that you will receive ALL sports channels that Sky & Virgin provide. With the 'Dragons investing', I thought why not.
I paid for 2 aerials and the site wouldn't let me past the 'buy the booster' page unless I bought that too.
In total I stand to lose nearly £140-00.
Trying to contact their 'FANTASTIC SUPPORT TEAM' as they put it ha ha is a nightmare. You ring them and they disconnect your call....
