The incompetence of the morons they hire to work in their support is simply amazing.

I would have given them no stars but not an option. Someone stole my credit card information and made several purchases on Twitch. After investigating, the account was closed, Twitch refunded some of the money but not all of it. Out of 7 fraudulent purchases, I only received 5 refunds. They stopped responding to my requests. I guess I should be grateful for the 5 I received.

Spent a year building a community on this platform. Got permanently banned with no explantion. Tried to appeal got some A.I response back. They don't give a single shit.

Ridiculous amount of ads. More ads than content

They prioritize certain political opinions over others, even when those opinions should be valued equally. Twitch is propaganda.

Twitch as a company per their customer service department is absolutely trash. They have banned my son for being under 13 twice now even though he is over 13. I contacted customer support to prove that he is over 13 and they wanted me to upload my ID so I sent them my ID all they kept sending back was we are unable to process your request please submit your documentation per the policy and I submitted it several different times and asked them what was wrong with my submission they kept sending me the same message verbatim over and over again I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager they kept sending the same message over and over again regarding the ID submission. It is a horrible horrible company terrible customer service go to Kik or YouTube to stream.

The ads are unbearable. 2 minute ads every 5 minutes, horrible simp moderators who let sexual content exist so they can goon, extremely misandrist site overall, if you're an attractive woman you can say and do anything and only get a week ban. If you're a guy you can do something just remotely offensive and get perma banned.

They make cancelling your subscription UNFINDABLE. I had to search up how to do it numerous because it is so unclear on how to do that just because they don't want to lose money. I had cancelled my subscription previously before the next billing date and it still took my money. Of course, this greedy site has a no refund policy no matter the issue. I do not recommend subscribing to your favorite streamers through twitch and if you would like to donate to them, find other ways. I am disappointed on customer service and everything.

Even after reporting, many times no action is taken.

They keep taking my money and making excuses why it’s going to come next month. Then lie and charge it

garbage trash customer service full of idiots can't gey my twitch account back anymore because of phone number block they don't understand anything, and also they won't delete accounts if asked even with the right info they needed they are scumbags indeed

The platform is very strict for new users, while other platforms promote you, Twitch will not promote you at all, but it offers very good conditions for popular users.

Twitch is operating extremely scamy, if not borderline illegal. I almost never use their site because of the gajillion ads, but I wanted to support a friend so I just logged in to buy 100 bits to give to him. When I did the charge went through twice and gave me 2x the bits I purchased. I immiedetely made a support ticket explaining a bug on their end caused this, and I wanted a refund for half the bits (which were still on my account), and they refused 3x before I finally just disputed the charge with my bank. I will likely be making a BBB complaint against them as well. Stay far away from this company. They make BILLIONS of dollars a year, yet are scamming people out of 2 bucks. It's insane.

A streamer & I had a misunderstanding & now she thinks I'm a stalker. She brings that fact up in almost every stream. I contacted Twitch about this & they told me to basically ignore it. Nice to know people can badmouth others & have no consequences.

After 11 years of being a Twitch Affiliate and streaming sometimes 12+ hours a day and never having any sort of issues I found myself one day before I started the stream to see an email from Twitch saying my payments have been suspended for some Prime Subs I never had any power over. Basically the email was saying that the prime subs were done using some sort of stolen cards or something like that.

Basically I got raided with around 260 Amazon Prime Subs and as a streamer you CAN'T block or know if the subs are legit or not ( I asumed Twitch being so big had some sort of Fail Safe against this kind of thing. )

I replied to the email and sent them the information that the automated email requested, and then I got another email saying they will investigate but that was days ago and since then no other reply, I tried them on Twitter and instagram and nothing. They keep posting on Twitter but they never reply to users.

Now when I go live all the ad revenue and any subs I get from friends and family are basically money that go to Twitch and I wont get any because they suspended my payments. No idea what to do because I did gain a good number of followers in 11 years so moving to a new platform seems like I wasted 11 years.
