Companies House reports Two Wests are in liquidation

Placed an order on 23rd Sep 2024 for some greenhouse guttering. Price was in GBP. When I received email confirmation price was in HK $. Items not received, phone number in website doesn’t connect. Fortunately it is only a small amount but still raising dispute with credit card company

Is this firm still trading? No replies to Contact Us message, or their advertised telephone number. An attempt to place an order online failed at the last hurdle of the Pay button: response : website does not accept payments on-line; referred back to the company to place an order direct; tried to do so as above. Given up.

AVOID This company sold me some really cheap crap for expensive price and it doesnt work actually broken rubbish, ignored my email about a refund and basically just stole my money £42 for some cheap plastic crap that dont work, £10 would be too much for the crap they sent me, avoid this company if yiu dont want to be ripped off just read other reviews, terrible

Purchased a Catfree cat deterrent recently and I am delighted to say no more dead birds or cat mess in my garden.

The customer service from this company is abysmal.
I wrote a strong but polite COMPLAINT email to Twowests regarding the quality and compliance issues with an order I had received.
There was NO RESPONSE. So I phoned them. I was asked to resend the COMPLAINT, which I did.
Again NO RESPONSE.
This company give no customer service. It’s part of their policy.

I cannot fault their service. I returned an item which had a small break and also did not work properly. They gave a speedy reply & I returned it (at my expense though) to the originator company who then credited TwoWests and I was given a refund today. With so many other companies playing up these days , this was the type of service I value

I've just cancelled my order after getting two excuses as to why my order has not been delivered by their supplier.

EXCUSE 1 - item lost by the courier (how can anyone lose a 250ltr water butt?)

EXCUSE 2 - phone call from Two Wests saying it can't be delivered on the revised date because the supplier had a flood, (conveniently on the day it should have been delivered).

I should also mention that I've had no emails from the courier confirming that they would be making either of the deliveries.

I phoned on Wednesday asking for help for my greenhouse for a heaters,the person i spoke to was very knowledgeable and helpfull. I ordered and within three days it was delivered and is working well.
A great company and will order from them again.

I have placed two orders from Two Wests for bespoke made aluminium greenhouse shelves. Both times the communication has been amazing and they have usually dispatched my order on the same day! The courier was so fast too. They are great quality shelves and work perfectly with my heat mats. I'm so impressed considering that these have only been small orders, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you ☺️

Ordered Shelving for my Greenhouse and it arrived very quickly, within a few days, all the way to the North of Scotland. Very happy with the service.

I’ve ordered a shelving unit for my Garage and am delighted to have it delivered quickly despite the Christmas rush.
I’ve used this company many times over the years and never had a problem with anything.

This company offers for sale goods that they say are usually dispatched in a few days, take payment for goods they do not have in stock and then fail to deliver. I purchased a propagating bench costing over £500 and have waited nearly 3 months for one component that they still have no idea when will be available. Two Wests and Elliot are still offering the unit for sale with delivery "usually" 4-5 days both on Amazon and their own site. In terms of the package of components making up my purchase, they are not 100% compatible or complete, requiring extra holes to be drilled in the bench, electrical safeguards on exposed spade clip connectors and extra components purchased to fit the water misting system. To add insult to injury when I tried to request a refund for the missing soil warming cable after waiting nearly 3 months so I could purchase it elsewhere they quibbled over £5. They probably saved that on the cost of posting the missing item! So much for customer service. How long can a business remain viable when it takes payment for goods it does not have and has no idea when they will be in stock ? There are lots of excellent reputable companies selling gardening equipment online. Sadly this is not one of them!

They are quick to take your money but don't tell you they have no stock. Another untrustworthy trader worth avoiding.

Terrible terrible service-order delivered more than twice the length of delivery time estimated. Emails were ignored by customer services. Ride delivery driver. Never again

Nearly six weeks (mid April) since they took my money, with a promise of 3-4 weeks despatch. No communication, no order update. Now it seems my item won't be available for another 6 weeks (mid July).
Order cancelled. Won't be using them again

Like others, the company took my payment for an item supposedly in stock, and then nothing. I emailed politely more than once, and received only excuses about how busy they were (!). Eventually, after many weeks, I asked for a refund under the Distance Selling Regs - which I got. They flatly denied that the item wasn't in stock, insisting that they were just too busy to fill my order - oh, well, that's much better then! Amazon despatched the same item the same day and it arrived the following day. Never again.

Put an order on 28/01/2021 with a header highlight a delay. Not a problem I need the equipment for the growing season so was willing to wait.

Arrived yesterday via Hermes 16/2/2021. Order was packed well (loads of cardboard) , I unpacked the order and there was a mistake, they sent the complete wrong item but I had the instructions for the correct item (suggesting order isn’t checked).

Emailed customer services saying that I would like the item I actually order sending out and a return set up for the wrong item. Returns are a pain and not easy and it takes them too long to rectify their mistakes.

Had never heard of these but wanted a greenhouse that many company’s were saying was out of stock. I telephoned them and was advised someone would ring back which they did. Was told a 4 week wait (at least they were honest) but by palram greenhouse arrived much sooner. Great customer service and excellent product. Thank you.

These guys were brilliant. Perfect customer service, did all the running around for me. Chasing the supplier for my order and calling me back timely to keep me informed. Would highly recommend.
