A great company to deal with
A great company to deal with. We hired a Ford Tourneo - 9 seater MPV for a trip to Scotland for a family gathering. The collection and return process was straightforward with very friendly , helpful and professional staff. The vehicle itself was in immaculate condition and a joy to drive and be a passenger in for the long journeys. We had 7-8 passengers during the trip as a whole and it was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend this company.

Terrible company
Terrible company, booked a van 2 weeks in advance to move house and paid for it, they then canceled the booking, phoned them up and got a different van, they told me the girst van was being refunded so to pay for the 2nd van on the day , went to pick it up to find out out they wouldn't hire to me because my job was an entertainer, (other van hire places have laughed at this) there was no mention of this stupid policy on the website or when i rang them, so this put us 6 hours behind on moving house which then put us behind for the whole weekend. Been 2 weeks since the first booking and still waiting for the refund of £244.25 and terrible customer service when you phone them, I can see why this company is cheap, so if you want to hire a van I highly reccomend not using Udrive, use enterpise instead, I reccomend them.

Super Service
I have used U Drive Exeter for a number of years, but this year particularly over the last 6 Months I have had 6 Van hires. Every time the service has been 1st class, friendly, efficient, good humoured and good natured. You always recieve good advice and instruction, and every time you are met with smiling and friendly staff.
From my perspective, they will remain my first choice, and I have no hesitation recommending U Drive for every hire.

I was able to book a car with ease
I was able to book a car with ease, the car I hired was a Citroen C3 Puretech 6speed Automatic Petrol, it was a great car to handle and the car was cheap to put petrol in. I paid £56 for a full tank, also U-Drive has the cheapest deposit at £100 other Rental companies wanted between £250 and £750 on top of the cost of the Rental

Friendly and cheaper than most
Very friendly chap served me on pickup and return in Exeter. The van was in very good condition seeing as it has been hired out for 2 years. Great drive, loved the camera central mirror, such a wide angle of view. Sat nav was top notch and got us to wherever we wanted to go. Great radio. I actually needed a last minute car hire to visit a friend in Suffolk and these guys were really relaxed and helpful. The price was fantastic and I was even late for the return and the charge was really reasonable. Altogether great service

Good experience when renting a van for a visit to France
Booking experience for taking a van (VW Crafter) to France was very painless and good comms with company, both on the phone and face to face. Van was clean and new and good conscientious check before taking with staff pointing out known defects etc. Euro travel preparation was good with paperwork, UK badge and headlight deflectors all provided. Price was reasonable and would be happy to use the Exeter branch again.
