Do not rely on their “reservation”…

Do not rely on their “reservation” service. The whole point of reservation is to avoid any delays or surprises.The night before, I asked for a taxi at exactly 9am. At 8.40 am they informed me that the taxi will arrive no earlier than 9.20am. I cancelled immediately as I was going to the airport. They charged me 4 euros for the cancellation. I asked for a new ride which arrived at 8:55am. And I paid half the price they asked for the “reservation”.

Driver ends ride after pickup, while im in car!

I was in an uber yesterday, on a dark isolated road when my driver ended the ride. I tried to press the help button that you use in an emergency, but after the driver ends the ride, you can not longer contact anyone through the app. The rider cant tell uber they are still in the vehicle. The driver can pick you up end the ride, and you are at the whim of the driver. My driver pressured me to pay for the rest of my trip through venmo, when I declined I was pressured leave a very large tip to cover the trip, all while the driver had slowed down as if would be kicked out, or something, on a completely dark road in the mountains. Uber should have to verify with the rider that they have exited the vehicle safely if the driver ends the trip before the destination. This is how people get put in compromising situations!

Returning an item left in the car.

Great.I have been wanting to write this. I left my phone in the Uber car on the way to Davie Symphony Hall. Lisa found it and left her contact number through Uber. I contacted her, she texted with a plan to return it, and arrived here at 7PM that night after a LONG day of driving to return it. So thoughtful and helpful.

Keeping informed

I use Uber regularly and have only once been disappointed. Two weeks ago I booked an Uber and it didn't arrive I kept getting messages changing the time of pick up eventually after about a 30 minute wait they sent a different car I was not contacted or given any reason as to why the first car didn't arrive.

Reliable & great service.

You can usually rely on Uber driver to turn up. Customers can see who the driver is and where they are coming from & how long it will take. You can book ahead if required & there is a choice of rides available.
Every driver i have had has always been friendly & courteous.
