SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM SCAM!!!

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM SCAM!!!
Very annoying woman with a Scottish accent (Katie Smith) told me she was from Yell and wanted to check a few details before taking my annual payment warning me of dire prognostications if I didn't pay pay straight away!
The call came in on Good Friday from a "Private Number" and I had to pay £359 by 3.00pm or my website would not come up first in Google search any more! Should have laughed in her face and used my choicest language right there and then.
This lady had done her homework on me and gave me all sorts of details about my current Yell profile. Very convincing but had me on the verge of screaming at her.
She said they were using a NEW system so not to be concerned that the invoice was headed UKBusinessProfiles as that was the new system and was how they were now taking payments. She then wanted to know my email address, how she managed to keep me on the phone this long is beyond me. I said surely you've got my email address, she said I told you before it's a new system. I gave her my email address and she sent me an invoice.
I told her I thought she could be anybody and there was no way on God's earth that I was paying a penny till I checked it out.
She then went on to ask if I was still paying by VISA. I must have got quite abusive by this stage saying that no one was going to call me on a bank holiday and insist on immediate payment and then she hung up.
I took me well over an hour to calm down and even then only after I'd logged into Yell and checked my account with them.
My advice, HANG UP straight away!

I cancelled my contract in 2017 Unauthorised payment taken

I cancelled my contract in 2017 which they chose to ignore.Under duress & threats I payed again on the understanding that it was cancelled & received an Email confirming.
I received a phone call demanding payment of £359.99.I told them again that I had cancelled & was no longer in Business
This firm has used my credit card to take the payment in spite of my instructions that I would not pay.
I have contacted my card company with the facts.I am now waiting for forms to fill in from the bank.

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Be aware of this company. It is a scam, they called me up pretending to be part of unitel and wanted to confirm my card details. I never thought of myself as being easily scammed, how wrong I was. They took my card details fraudulently stating they was the company i was registered with for my business. They took over £359 out of my account for advertising I never agreed too or knew about until i did my accounts and found the transaction. There have been numerous reports in regards to this company and are known for this and have changed their name a few times to avoid this. They have been reported to all the relevant channel's.
