The Digital Piano Bible.
The Digital Piano Bible is an essential read for anyone looking to buy a new piano.
Thank you!
Thanks a lot for making all your valuable information available in "The Digital Piano Bible", it helped me greatly in choosing my e-piano!
An authorative source of information
I came across UK Pianos web site whilst researching for a replacement to a very old electric piano. The website provided me with lots of useful information not least the "Digital Piano Bible". I used this and the associated reviews to come to a decision based on what I could afford, review scores, opinion and what I'd been able physically see elsewhere. I went for a Yamaha CLP635 and whilst I went with a local music store here in Glasgow, the information provided in U.K. pianos Digital Piano Bible was invaluable in coming to that decision.
Good information provided!
Looking to find a good digital piano …
Looking to find a good digital piano late in life. The Howard Score and other information and reviews on the website are really excellent. A company which goes the extra mile.
Your list confirmed I had made the right choice
I bought a piano from guitarguitar digital in Glasgow. Went in to the shop to look at them as had gone in making up my mind to buy one thing (A Yamaha Arius YDP-143) which does not feature in your list so must have scored under 45! I really used the list to verify that my choice was ok! Came out having chosen a Casio AP-260 which does feature on your list, was the right price for my budget and needs and am pleased with it.
Shocking!!!!!!
I recently placed an order ONLINE with UK Pianos. It was placed on the 30th July 2017 - Yamaha Clavinova 645. It mentioned at the time of ordering that stock was available for this item. I received confirmation of my order via e-mail and funds taken from my bank account for the amount shown on the website. I called 2 days later and confirmed the order and they confirmed the delivery date and time to me. Within less than 24 hours afterwards, I received an e-mail from UK Pianos: 'The Yamaha prices have increased from 1st Aug and at the time of your order we didn't have that item in stock. The new stock will be charged at a new supplier price of a difference of 400 GBP.' They had already take the monies from my account. They should have honoured the price on the website regardless, when the new stock arrived in. I had sold our old piano based on the delivery of this item. I am absolutely disgusted that it took a further 2 days to refund my money. Fortunately, I have managed to purchase the same make/model piano (having finally received the refund) for a couple of pounds cheaper than the original price from UK Piano's. What an absolute shambles and inconvenience. Word of warning to anyone ordering from here online. Call beforehand and check that they have the stock in and confirm the price is what it is as mentioned on there website!
Howard's advice worth its weight in gold
I eventually decided to invest in a digital piano but was confused by the number of makes and types that existed. It was thanks to ukpianos and Howard who's exceptional advice on their website persuaded me to purchase the Yamaha YDP 163.
Graham Howard & UKpianos
Ukpianos and Graham Howard are owed a debt of gratitude for their diligence in the information and assistance they gave in helping reduce my list of probable digital pianos, that I was mulling over and spending time researching which one to buy, their help reduced it down to four, I have now got to decide which to finally buy and if the expense will pay off.
Thanks again.
Excellent guide
Excellent guide, certainly helped me choose. BTW chose a Yamaha DGX660 in the end as it has lots of features and easy to navigate. Good luck
Returning to the piano after 50 years
I am returning to the piano after a break of 50 years and really appreciated the comprehensive advice and reviews I found in the UK Pianos website. It was not possible for me to buy from them as I live in Sydney Australia but the information was invaluable in understanding the huge range of choices. Initially I intended to buy second hand but ultimately chose a new Roland FP30.
Excellent sales info and guidance; attractive pricing and delivery
Incredibly useful booklet guiding one through the maze of manufacturers descriptions and hypes towards what is really important. I followed study of the written material with email exchanges with Graham to end up with a well reasoned decision on the instrument to choose. We purchased at a good price followed by a well tracked and timely delivery. Initial experience shows we did well!
I have no hesitation in making my 5 star rating.
Found advice to be helpful

Lots of free advice and information.

Knowledgeable and helpful
I found UK Pianos very helpful and easy to deal with. I used the Digital Piano Bible to guide my thoughts on what piano I was interested in, and then visited the shop to make a final choice after trying out different pianos.
