Expert digital piano moving and storage

Graham and his expert team collected, disassembled and safely stored our beloved Roland digital piano for a month when we sold our flat, and had to rent for a short while before moving into our next home. Be aware that most removals companies will not touch pianos (digital or otherwise). There are not many firms who also offer storage, and the rates were very reasonable and expert care was taken. Highly recommended.

Fantastic

Graham was fantastic at giving personalised recommendations based on my experience and budget.

The details in the website is amazing to help with choosing and the Howard Score is a great tool for deciding between different options.

Highly recommended

Graham was the most helpful as I navigated purchasing a digital piano. He kindly updated his Howard Score document to include prices which was a very useful guide.

I settled on a Broadway BW1 and Graham delivered it just a few days later. I'm really pleased with it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend UK Pianos.

We've bought a second hand Yamaha…

We've bought a second hand Yamaha digital piano that has the touch and sound of the analogue Yamaha I grew up, but with the benefit of headphones! Great service from this knowledgeable piano shop.

Hi Eliza

Thank you very much for you review.
I see that you have left a good review, but you only gave us 3 stars.
This has regrettably lowered our Trustpilot score by quite a bit.

Did you mean to leave us a 5 star review?

If you did, then would you please update it to a 5 star?
I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you very much.

Regards

Well worth consulting if you are thinking of buying a digital piano

Graham has put a lot of work into this digital piano information site. Almost all reviews are of up to date models but keeping a site like this fully up to date is nearly impossible given the rate at which new models are intrduced. The pianos I had my short list (all the same band) were not represented but the versions before mine were. I got sufficient info and insight into the new models to assist me in making my decision.

Real blessing....

I found the website by accident, and believe it was a real blessing after months of research online for our first piano. Howard was very professional and prompt in his reply. The Howard Digital Piano Bible was comprehensive and gave me a wealth of information I was unaware of. The Howard score, further helped me make the right choice in the comfort of our home. Thank you for putting so much effort into the guide and helping us make our decision.

Informative. I'm looking for the right piano (digital). The unbiased writing and accessable style has massively improved my knowledge. I am still looking for the right piano but know what I am looking for now. More importantly I know what to avoid

Thank you Graham for your piano bible…

Thank you Graham for your piano bible that covers in depth all the topics regarding the jargon coming with digital pianos.
Going through the topics, I have already decided to get a new piano rather that a second hand one, primarily because the money difference between used and brand new is not high anymore, and a good second reason is the warranty (that I always thought was transferable , as it is mentioned in all the ads for second hand pianos- which is misleading)

Really first-rate guidance

Really first-rate guidance in what feels to be a tricky field for the non-specialist. We knew very little about the practical considerations in purchasing a digital piano. So we were delighted to come across the Howard Score. Like a ‘Which’ guide, but far better - written by a genuine specialist, rather than a team of roving researchers. It enabled us to go from 0-60 in 10 secs where discernment is concerned, and enabling us to make the decision that was right for us.

I highly recommend UK Pianos

I found Graham Howard really helpful throughout the process of buying a secondhand digital piano. His buying guide was comprehensive and informed which piano I decided to go for. He promptly replied to my questions over email. I bought a Broadway AB1 from the store and am really happy with it. It came with a warranty which gave me peace of mind. I would highly recommend UK Pianos.

The Digital Piano Bible really helped…

The Digital Piano Bible really helped me to select the piano for me. Howard provides clear definitions of the technical terms, as well as practical steps to follow when at the piano store. He helped me to narrow down the brand options and models I thought appropriate to investigate. I followed his steps and was able to determine that I did not need the more expensive piano I thought I needed. I even found the model I wanted on sale. A great help, and I recommend the book for anyone looking to buy a digital piano. Also, Graham provided email support while I went through the purchasing process. Thanks Graham

A comprehensive guide to buying any electric piano

I am a reasonably experienced piano player although very much out of practice twice, and looking (gently) to buy an electric piano that i practice on without disturbing all and sundry. Graham’s compressive bible is essential reading and although I am not ready to buy as yet it has made me seriously consider my options. Probably to not buy secondhand and to visit the shop in Enfield are high priorities, as I live in Devon visiting the shop may take a while. I would recommend this guide very strongly

UK pianos are a scam 😂

I would definitely highly recommend to go elsewhere, this company is really unprofessional and completely lacking costumer service. Also if you look at the end of this review they are even trying to hide between different company registrations to avoid to take responsibility for their own actions.

In January 2016 I agreed to rent a piano, paid the deposit and I was really looking forward to enjoying my new purchase.
Very soon one of the speakers started to make a scratchy sound and I contacted UK piano several times without any response but since I only used the piano occasionally I wasn’t really bothered about it.

Years passed by and I was still a happy paying costumer. because of the pandemic I obviously started to look in to my expenses and I therefore contacted UK piano in May 2021 and agreed on a payment plan to purchase and own my piano to minimise my costs. Once again no one got back to me about the scratchy sound,

The Piano was originally £2400 And the Stool £250 made a total of £2650. On agreement I paid a deposit of £530 so that left me with a balance of £2120.
Since I been a long term customer we agreed on a payment plan of a additional 12 months of 95.00 of monthly payments that made a grand total of 65 payments of £95 leading up to A total of £6175, £6705 with deposit.
This was absolutely my choice and I was happy with the agreement, as a costumer I could have sorted this earlier or made other arrangements but I decided that this was my best solution even though my speaker was faulty.

On the 15 June 2021 I emailed UK pianos to make sure I had cleared all my payments and I officially owned my piano. I also called several times but never got a response.

On the 13 October, 4 months after my last attempt to contact UK piano I received an email saying I owe them 3x£95 a total of £285 for missed payments, I told them I was happy to settle this:

February 19th February 2022, This is when tipsy Hel*n probably ran out of cash and Chardonnay and thought it was a great idea to finally email me back on a Saturday night 8pm, severely misspelled and impolite claiming they will collect my piano following week.
Wow just wow!

This is again after paying my piano for 65 months without any delay or any dispute and never complaint about the poor customer service or broken speaker.

————- update————

Monday the 21st of February is coming to an end and even if I email twice and called once, UK Pianos yet haven’t been able to answer any of my emails or got back to me by the call they originally advised.

——————————-

March 30 2022
I still haven’t received my receipt from UK piano… however They have asked Trustpilot to remove my review today saying it belongs to another company.
At least I know they do something, well not sending a receipt.

—————————-

March 30 2022, UK piano now finally reply to this review saying it’s for the wrong company.

This is funny cause In the email I received on 25th of February they wrote..

“I see from your last contact and from your online review of UK Pianos that you feel unhappy about the situation emails. As such I would like to explain things from our point of view and hope we settle the account”

And Now this is getting really good cause If you going to lie do it well 🤥
Looking at the website UK Piano have linked here on Truspilot I quickly find the company registration number at the bottom of their own page.
The number they are advertising as the registration number for UK pianos is 05875618 and this belong to Music Talents LTD recording to Companies House.
So they claim that this review is faulty and belongs to a business they promote as themselves on their own website. UK Piano LTD 10428649 is also registered with Companies House and funny enough registered at the same address as the company above.
What a coincidence 🤷🏽‍♂️

I don’t think I have to say much more, hiding between different registered companies, lying in the response even though the registration number is stated on their own website, refuse to send receipts, avoiding a costumer with a faulty piano.

Sometimes is probably better to admit that you messed up and send an apology across.

Lol 😂 guys you made my day 🥁🎶

————————-

March 31st, UK piano responding again that they not the right company. However they took the registration number of their website claiming that is from 2017, a tiny bit slow. Only 5 years late. 🤷🏽‍♂️
On Marsh 30 it was there on Marsh 31st it all out of sudden gone, just after my review?
They did remove the company registration number and updated a new VAT number. Well, everyone can check Beta @ GOV and the same name are registered on all the Companies.

Is it funny cause I never asked for compensation or a refund, I just asked for an apology, a explanation why I been treated like this?
The way some people go for their own pride 😅
Just admit that you made a mistake 🙋🏻‍♂️

Still waiting for my receipt.

Dear Niklas. We do not have, or never had a Thom or Helen working for us, so it is clearly not us that you have rented a piano from. You have most likely mixed us with a different company: Music Talents Ltd. Please check your Rental Contract. I would appreciate it if you removed this review, as it is affecting us, and is nothing to do with us, and re-post it for Music Talents Ltd. or whatever the company name is on your contract. There are several UK Pianos websites online.

As we said before, we are not Music Talents Ltd. and UK Pianos is not a Limited company. It is a Private Company. And again, we do not have a Helen or Thom working for us. We did purchase the uk pianos website and stock from Music Talents Ltd in April 2017, this seems to be what has caused the confusion. Your Rental Contract must be with Music Talents Ltd. (as it is pre 2017). And it appears that they have been contacting you directly. I advise contacting them about this to get the receipt they promised you. I would be grateful if you can write a new review with the correct information and post this on Trustpilot. This is affecting our business through no fault of our own.
