Thank you for your review.
I am sorry about the issues that you have encountered with your recent order. However further to the telephone conversations with both myself and the general manager Kyle, and the subsequent email exchange; I would like to reiterate our returns policy.

I fully understand your frustration but due to strict hygiene stipulations under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2013, we cannot accept items that have been opened, unpacked or tried on unless they are faulty. You were advised of this imperative detail in the terms and conditions of sale, that you agree to before completing your order. This information is also stated on the rear of the sales notice that is included in your parcel as well as being displayed in the “help” section of our website.

You returned 4 pairs of tights (in 3 different brands) stating inaccurate sizing as your reason for return. Our quality assurance team has closely inspected and measured the items and can confirm that the sizes are correct. The tights have also been inspected further for defects and no faults have been found at all.

We are dedicated to giving our customers the best service and we will, more often than not, give a customer the benefit of the doubt over any ambiguity over an order/return; however, there was none with the items that you returned as we have supplied the sizes that you ordered. As you would not accept my word, I referred you to our General Manager Kyle; who again echoed my sentiments. He also went to great lengths to explain the sizing of the garments you bought.

Further on from the verbal conversation, you sent an email to then cancel your order. Again, under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, it was explained in much detail, that the supply of sealed goods are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.

We then received an aggressive email from you threatening a criminal case being brought against by Trading Standards. Kyle was resolute, but courteous in his response. If you would like your goods you can contact us with a request to ship them, and we can ship your goods to you, free of charge and with tracking.

I trust that this now concludes this matter.

Fabulous

Fabulous. I messed up my order, and they were super-helpful about changing it for me. Minimum fuss, maximum friendliness. The order arrived extremely quickly and was not just what I wanted, the quality is far better than you'd expect for the price.

Made an order 8 days ago and still have no news from uktights. Sent an email to customer service 4 days ago and got no answer. Just lost 70£ with them :/

Edit : customer service answered and I did get my order. Except delay, im fully satisfied with them.

An incredible selection!

They have an amazing selection of tights, which I've always had trouble finding on other sites. Any issues I had with ordering was solved quickly by the customer service team. Will absolutely order from them again!

I'm sorry to see you were so disappointed with our delivery time on this occasion, though I'm also sorry to read your negative review as we responded promptly to all of your emails and your order was dispatched the same date as purchase, arriving 1 day late.

I'm afraid I cannot explain why you have not received our Dispatch Confirmation Email as this is sent automatically - as is your Order Confirmation Email - to the email address you provide us with in your order, and other customers receive these okay.
If you have been unable to find it in your spam/junk folder, your email client may have blocked it altogether due to privacy/security settings. My apologies for the concern this may have caused you, however my colleague did confirm that your order was on its way, 2 days after dispatch.

She also explained at this time that Royal Mail advise EU Air Mail takes an estimated 3-5 working days:

Good Service

Ordered yesterday a pair of small stocking and they arrived early this morning.

Good quality and fit me well, I am only 5ft so find it hard to find tights/stockings that fit and these were great.

Love this website!

Love this website!! Just received order for my daughter's wedding and been customer for years. So much choice and staff really lovely and helpful on phone if you need advice. On one occasion, the order was delayed - as for special event, the girl went out of her way to find out exactly when could expect it + sent with next day post. Already recommended them to all my friends and family. Gorgeous stuff xx

2nd order from UK Tights and i'm really happy with the service and products. Was unsure of sizing so called their number and they were really helpful. Stock brands that i can't buy in John Lewis any more. Order always arrives very quickly with normal postage.

Great Company

Fantastic service! Ordered some Oroblu tights and paid for standard delivery, didn't expect them to arrive until 3 days after the order but had them next day!

Definitely recommend this company. Their customer service was great, too, as I was unsure what size to get and they helped me choose before placing the order.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service. Am still waiting for the second part of my order 2 months after receiving the first part. I have invoice to prove only 1 item was sent, & email trail of queries with customer service which also proves this. They are basically saying that they sent the item & it must have been stolen from the package but email trail disproves this. Email trail has been forwarded to customer service & guess what? No response! Surprise surprise. They told me to contact the police to report a stolen item & the post office to investigate. Investigate what? THEY NEVER SENT THE ITEM!! ***AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY***

Horrible customer service. Don't order from them!!!

I live in Canada and had ordered tights off of UK Tights. I paid a lot with the exchange rate and shipping, but they seemed to be good quality tights. After getting my order I opened two of the packages to find the sizing charts were NOT accurate at all and they fit a size smaller. I sent my entire order back for a refund (I only had opened 2 packages out of the 4). After waiting almost 2 months for my refund, I reached out to UK Tights customer service to find out what was happening with my order refund; only to have them tell me that it was denied because "ALL" my packages were opened?! The lack of customer service is repulsive and disappointing. After spending almost $110 on the order after exchange rate plus another $45 to ship this order back to them; I am cautiously warning you NOT to buy from this company if you don't live in the U.K.

What a waste of time and hard earned money.

After 2 months I have only received 1 out of 9 products

In April I spent more than £200 on different tights and stockings from UK Tights and thus far (after 2 months) I have only received one pair of stockings. I have had contact with the customer service a number of times to get the rest of my order - which has been lost in the mail somewhere. The last 3 mails I've sent has been ignored and pleas to at least get a refund on the products I haven't received have been ignored as well. It is really odd - the customer service were super nice in the beginning, but apparently they grew tired of me.

I cannot recommend using UK Tights - though the stockings I actually received were nice.

Best Online Hosiery store - EVER

Never has there been such a website to stock, just about everything. Been using UK Tights for just over 12 months, after stumbling across them from a google search for Wolford tights. Superb customer service, excellent range of products and always competitively priced. A very satisfied customer!

Excellent!

Love this site - great range of tights including the wonderful Kunert, which is impossible to find in the UK.

This is one of the obvious products to buy online - I can't imagine trawling the department stores as I used to do...
